I had a tepui a few years ago and at 116 pounds, I found it hard to lift onto my car. This tent weighs 90 pounds which makes a huge difference for me. My first trip it only dropped my MPG by about 1 MPG. It is small, 2 people, but you’ll be cozy! Definitely worth it and a nice buy!

The tent is not very sturdy. The ladder is a large part of the support but tedious to get lined up and set to actually act as a support
The most frustrating was the screws all fell off during driving to my first campsite, so the ladder wasn’t even secured. This made the tent obviously unusable as it needs the ladder to be supported.
I found a way to secure the tent again, and it fell off again on my way to next campsite. This time I’m not sure what was going on, I definitely secure things tightly!
Anyway I went and googled reviews and theee are quite a few examples saying to avoid this company which I wish I’d found earlier. So hopefully; you’ll read this and avoid my pain!

It deploys and packs away fast and easy. It’s light (for a roof tent) and has a compact footprint, so it doesn’t overhang my vehicle like basically any other roof tent would. The rain fly is tight, like a second skin on the tent, so there’s no flapping. There are plenty of windows and enough interior space so it doesn’t feel claustrophobic. You’re not going to have a party in this tent, it’s basically just for sleeping in (or maybe laying back and reading a book), but that’s all I was looking for. Light control is excellent. All of the materials are quality. It’s really a very nice tent.
It only has a couple small phone/power bank pockets on the inside, so some additional storage would have been nice, but that’s a small gripe… and there’s some hooks here and there for hanging some lightweight items like a flashlight or tissues.

This tent has been great. I’ve got a smaller vehicle and it’s had minimal impact on how the vehicle drives due to its light weight. I can even lift it by myself, which is impossible with some of the larger tents.
Setup is also a breeze as the tent and fly deploy in the same movement. No need to insert a bunch of additional tension rods or supports. The supports are plenty sturdy enough to hold up in all four seasons.
I highly recommend.
