We used the stakes on a camping trip where the sand was very soft. Honestly they are super good. We were able to fit these where the ring is at bottom of tent with the tent pole already pegged. These sand stakes extra hold. If you go from an angle and twist in, you’ll be fine. The 11” length of the stakes are ideal foe soft sand. Stakes are sturdy and the loops at the top you can easily tie guy lines too as well if you like. I like that or has a small triangle in the centre if you prefer to add a carabiner then line it out. Nice options for these stakes. Our tent didn’t move at all.

This was the best item I could have bought for our beach trip. The day we arrived we had a major thunderstorm at 1:00 am. Wind gusts up to 45 miles an hour. Rain 5-6 inches. The anchors held our tent tight & didn’t pull out of sand at all. Highly recommend!

So far they have held of for a couple months of freezing temps and 60+ mph winds holding down my green house. I used P-cord on these and have seen no wiggle or movement.
The carry bag was a plus and I intend on buying more to try out camping and we have a lot of loose soil that doesn’t do well with hammer in stakes.

Finally tried these today and two out of three stakes held in the sand. The one on windward side was pulled out on first gust. My biggest critique is no tool include to help twist stake into the ground. I cut up my finger on the stakes while trying to drill them in deep enough – and I was drilling into beach sand, hard pack but still, it’s sand.
