This bivy looks awesome! I was really happy with how small and light it packed down. It looks a little questionable with how water proof it is but I guess I’ll find out soon enough. I plan to use a small tarp with it anyways. If your a big guy id definitely get the large that this model comes in.

Super light and packable. I just used this on a mild weather bikepacking trip and was very pleased with it. I did have a little more condensation on the inside (especially in the foot area of the bag) than I was hoping for, but not enough to be problematic. The bottom is not as robust as what I have used in the past, but it did not have any punctures to my sleeping pad.

It’s lightweight, 433 grams on my kitchen scale and small. My entire sleep pad fits inside and it doesn’t seem to leak when the garden sprinkler “rains” on it.
I camped out on a July Arizona night in it and it’s warm. I wish the bug net opening part was a bit bigger but it works great at keeping the crawly insects off you.
It seems to turn into a sauna inside with the waterproof flap closed so more of a use with flap open only except when it’s raining kinda deal.
Update 9/2024: I took it out backpacking in rainy conditions and the night was cool enough that having the rain flap closed all night wasn’t a big deal “sauna” wise. Condensations still formed inside due to my breath but my bigger concern is that had the rain not let up I’m not sure how I would have gotten out of it and still kept the interior dry.

This is a fantastic Bivi and their support is also way above par. It’s light and performs well.

Bought to use as sleeping bag cover, possible overkill as it seems to be more robust & much better quality than the slightly less expensive black diamond starlight.
Last one in stock but item is in A1 condition. US to UK 6 days standard..
Verdict- Bluddy marvellous !

Pros: It works, it seems well made, and it will keep you dry.
Cons: The tent fabric does not breathe well at all. if it is raining, you have to get creative to get fresh air without letting rain into the bag.
This is good for emergencies, or camping in cool weather with no chance of rain.

It doesn’t appear to be waterproof. First night, light rain..woke up with sleeping bag wet, eventually right through..inside of bivvy also wet. Very disappointed.

I was worried it would be restrictive but it has plenty of space. I can lay flay and put my feet flat while my knees bent and it has plenty of clearance. I can sleep on my side and stretch my legs anytime.
