   Originally the auger was not with the package. To their credit they fixed it fairly quickly so no harm no foul. The umbrella is good enough for the price. It’s not especially sturdily made but once it’s in the ground it holds up well. Throw some sand in the side pockets to hold it down in a breeze.

   I bought this for a trip to the New Jersey Beach. It was easy to put up and created a lot of shade. I liked the the little windows that allowed the wind to go through. We had a really windy day and it held up well. We used the stakes and it was great. I highly recommend.

   we purchased this umbrella were thrilled you put the clips back for the flaps..and added a tilt..well the umbrella broke after just a few uses . right at the tilt .it is poorly designed we are very unhappy with it now i have ordered another 8 ft without the tilt and am told you are not making that model any more ..We have been using sport brella’s for a number of years and have never had any problem with them we love them . hoping you can help us out here .    We’ve had a sportbrella for 5-6 years and thought it was time for a new one. They improved it, if that was possible! The pole comes with it’s own screw-into-the-sand thingy, which is designed so we are never worried even on the windiest days. The bag is bigger so it stores much easier, it comes with good stakes, and there are handy clips where you need them. We use it for sun and for wind. Love it x 2

    I bought this umbrella about 1 month ago, just few days pass return date. This is the 3rd time I use it, when I open it on soccer field, to my surprise the center pole is not connected to canopy. The built-in tilt mechanism is loose. I can only find a spring and a button in the bag. I think I miss a bolt and a nut. Not sure if I miss anything else. I must lost them when I closed umbrella last time I used it, even I never used the built-in tilt mechanism. I believe bot and nuts was loose when I bought it and I didn’t realize it. Can whatcampingtent.com or the manufacture send me the necessary parts so I can fix it?

    2 things you need to know:

    1. Stand the Sunbrella up like a beach umbrella on really hot days, because you will want the additional airflow. If you don’t, you will notice the Sunbrella traps the heat to the ground, even with the 2 window flaps unzipped.

    2. It is so easy to set up and break down no matter how you use it! But do buy yourself extra metal stakes and tie-down lines. 4 stakes and 3 lines are good, but there are more than enough points on the Sunbrella to utilize add’l stakes and lines that even a high wind won’t budge it.

    Watch YouTube for Sunbrella reviews. This is where I learned what the metal dowel rod was for. 😁😆 I bought my Sunbrella from the warehouse, so it had no instructions.

    I have used it the entire Summer of 2023 and still going strong!

    I got this umbrella to camp with. It came just in time and I basically used it as a side awning for my minivan. Perfect timing as it rained during the time at camp. I used the tabs to run guy lines and staked it down on three sides and tied it off to the car at the front and back. It worked out perfectly. Kept me dry and I was able to keep my sliding door open during the rain without getting wet. I could also get access to the driver side without having any problems.

    We used the umbrella for the beach this summer and it was exactly what we wanted. Easy to assemble and didn’t even budge on those really windy days. Not sure about the rain protection as we have not had to experience that yet.

    I have a friend that had one so I was able to try it before I even bought it. Very pleased with this product. Two chairs can fit inside and with a propane firepit placed in front of the opening it makes a cool breezy day very nice indeed. I think I’ll also use it to shield my BBQ from the wind when required. Ordered two more for friends that saw it as well.
