I used these for the tarp that covers my portable kitchen. It’s rained everytime I’ve gone camping. So I got these to help hold up the tarp I use to cook under.
They worked like a charm.
They are adjustable in that you can choose the amount of pole lengths you use. They are not shock corded together so it’s a little hard to keep them together, but that’s not a deal breaker.
They are strong and lightweight.

The poles are easy to assemble and seem sturdy. They work well with my tarp. You can put together whatever number you need for your desired height. Hopefully they hold up well, I will update if they don’t.

Overall these accomplished what I wanted. I had a hard time finding short enough ones that I could us. There are a bit thicker wall then many which was another reasons I bought them.
They are a little flimsy once set up and I did modify them to suit my needs. I removed the push button locking (this did not negatively impact the stability that I mentioned above), cut them down and reduced each vertical by 1 section to match my height requirements.
I then added a shock cord to them for quick and easy assembly and to ensure none would be left behind. In total I replaced 5 fibreglass and steel poles (my roof supports were aluminum and not from this supplier) and had an overall saving of weight by 48%, roughly 14.2lbs down to 7.4lbs, so overall I was very happy as it was an upgrade modification to a bug screened in tent that goes backcountry camping when we have 6+ppl.
The weight savings was worth the cost and time to modify everything and I now couldn’t be happier.

Sturdier than you might think. I appreciate that the pole segments are separate so you can use asany as you need.
