   The Timber Ridge Pop-up Gazebo is a good quality unit that’s relatively easy to set up after a small learning curve, though it’s tricky to do solo, requiring the gazebo to be staked down to effectively push up the roof. Otherwise, you wind up pushing up the tent. Additionally, the gazebo is difficult to set up in windy weather. After I’d popped up the roof on a 15 mph windy day, I struggled to keep the gazebo from blowing away. The guy lines are recommended in this situation, but I’ll definitely be using them every time I set up the unit, as an unexpected gust could become a problem. However, without having them marked off to know where to position them, I had trouble getting them into place. I’d recommend setting the gazebo up in calm conditions and getting the guy lines in place before the wind comes, and in cases where that isn’t an option, not using the gazebo. On the other hand, breaking down the gazebo was simple (provided you remember to remove the tent poles first), which I appreciated, and I particularly liked how much interior space the unit offers. It easily holds a table and chairs as well as extra items for a fun afternoon while keeping the bugs at bay. The fine mesh and flaps at the bottom are quite effective so far, and I expect them to remain so when we get into the heaviest buggy months of summer. The only thing I found concerning was that the gazebo’s roof strap popped through its rivet while I was holding it in an attempt to keep the tent from flying away during my wind setup. I was able to reattach it, but I’m not certain I’ll be able to do that again. Hopefully adding another washer on that screw will prevent it from breaking again in the future. Rating: 4.5 stars, rounded up.

   It’s oval shaped, which works great for sitting chairs and talking. It didn’t work around a state park picnic table we tried to put it on top of but did on a park picnic table. It is actually easy to get set up by yourself although it is nice to have another person. The material is a nice weight, good enough to last but not so heavy it makes it hard to carry. The stitching, zippers and netting are all well done and the zippers run smoothly. I recommend getting the panels for windy or sunny days, you won’t regret it. Make sure you stake it down, you may not have any wind when you’re setting up but wind can come out of nowhere fast and then it’s too late. I comes with guy lines and stakes so there is no excuse, we bring a hammer and crowbar to make stakes easy to install and pull later. The added pulls are a very welcome touch making it a lot easier to pull. It also isn’t very hard to get back in the bag which is great because a lot of gear doesn’t want to go back in once out. It is a great buy and I think it’s worth getting.

   This is a very high, large, sturdy, comfortable screen tent/gazebo. While the “60 seconds” claim is probably a bit of an exaggeration, with two people you can have it up in five minutes easily. Mind you, don’t try putting it up with just one person. It can be done, but it has to be to FIRMLY staked down before raising the roof, and snapping the walls into place by yourself will leave you throwing things in frustration. You need one person to pull the sides out and push up the roof while at least one other person provides counter balance. Preferably more. The thing seats at least six people easily. They can all earn their spot!
   And with two or more people assembly really is simple. Everything is pre-attached, and the process involves no more than pulling the poles out to their full length via the sewn on loops until they click. Sides first, then roof, then insert door poles. Done. Disassembly is in reverse. Take out the door poles, pull on the roof loop to loosen the top, then push in the sides one by one. It collapses in on itself and folds into a half circle that is then rolled up and tucked into the bag. Yes, it does actually fit.
   In short, I’m glad I ordered it! It is quite sturdy in even a moderate breeze. I haven’t had a strong wind yet to test it on, but if I have any problems I will update this review. Similarly, you never know how long something is going to last until you’ve used it for at least 6 to 8 months. This feels like it will last well, provided it is not abused, but if it breaks in an unreasonable period of time, believe you me, this review will be updated quickly.    This gazebo is really easy to set up and surprisingly spacious inside. It’s also simple to pack back down and easy to transport, making it super convenient for all kinds of outdoor activities.

   A great purchase that’s versatile enough for camping, backyard hangouts, tailgating, or picnics. Very happy with it.
