This is AWESOME. The structure and layout is far superior to a lot of others on the market. BUT… it’s pretty heavy. Maybe that doesn’t phase you, especially if you’d be close to the beach and wouldn’t have to walk far and/or have a nice wagon, but it’s not the lightweight variety of some competitors… I didn’t actually set it up or take it fully out of the box because of this, but I really, really wish it would have been a little lighter!!!

I was hoping and wanted this to work as advertised but unfortunately it did not live up to the expectations. We tried positioning this several ways against the wind. We buried the stakes as advised in the instructions but the poles kept bending and pulling out. You can imagine how we felt seeing people using their Shibumi’s with little to no effort.

Top quality shade. We love everything about it. It has a huge canopy that is very tall when set up and it is silent. It is the most comfortable shade we have ever been under. There are no obstructions due to the height of this shade. It is lightweight and easy to set up and take down. Only issue was the tape on the vertical poles did not stay in place. Contacted the manufacturer and was sent additional tape.
