   It was relatively easy to put up (took a little under 7 minutes first time) and was definitely light weight for carrying. My biggest issue is that it did not give as much shade as we’d like/expect for the beach. You have to put it “into the wind” which is not always best for maximum shade and on this day the wind was sustained ~20mph. It did hold up well all things considered and was pretty quick to take down and pack away.

   So this was easy enough to set up however it was pretty difficult to figure out how to get the angle so that it wasn’t laying directly on top of us. You only have the two steaks in front and the back doesn’t just automatically fluff up. So wherever you set your sandbags that’s where it drags the back down to. Occasionally there might be a breeze that will billow it up a little bit but it really needs some more poles for the back section to hold it up.

   Worked perfect for our beach vacation. Light, easy to pack, the fabric is quality (and doesn’t hold and) and the poles are pretty sturdy. The first time setting it up took 2 people and a little time and figuring out where and how we wanted the ropes. The next time,with the ropes already in place, it was super quick and easy. 1 person could set it up. It handled 5 – 6 mph winds, didn’t have the opportunity to be in anything stronger. The shade was great. Love that a sand scoop to fill the sand bags is included. Also, it has the option (and equipment) to use stakes instead of sand bags to secure it. It easily sits 2 – 3 people using chairs. Absolutely would buy again.

   Easy to put up but the poles are thin and we already bent one. It’s ok for 2 people, not very big. Stays up well in the wind.
