I’ve been hemming and hawing over getting this weather pod but finally. I’ve used it thru the summer, fall and now winter and have not been disappointed. Summer it does get pretty warm but 3 sides open so good ventilation. The best tho is in the fall & winter when it starts to get chilly and then darn right cold as the pvc keeps the inside pretty decent. High wind…. You don’t feel it. Snowing, you’re dry and if there’s a hint of sun the inside heats right up. There was a bit of a drip when the rain hit it just right as the zipper you can see light thru it but throw a towel on the floor. Very easy to fold up. I have folded it flat multiple times and did actually close it alll the way down once so I know it can be done but I’ve kept it up almost all the time I’ve had it. Can’t speak for everyone but I am very happy with it.

This thing is only good for a few uses. Zipper stitching falls apart right away. Not sturdy and the roof will fill with water unless you keep pushing it up manually and then it leaks inside when you do. This is my third one. 1st one lasted all summer. Second one about two months. This one i have had less than a month and it has the problem. Last one for me. Time to find another brand. But that’s hard too. Oh and if you can get it to fold up back in it’s case you are a genius. Neither me or any of my buddies could.
Update: left it outside in the rain for 30 minutes unattended. The roof filled up like a swimming pool, leaked soaking everything and ruining it, then when I tried to remove the water, the entire thing collapsed and tore. STAY AWAY from this product.

This is my second Weather pod. I forgot the first one I bought at home when traveling to a softball tournament in Portland. It rained all day on Sunday. The poor girls were soaked. The Plan of the day for kept me mostly warm and dry. I’m glad I have it. However, for the money it cost, I expect a higher quality product. Like other reviews have mentioned, the zippers are kind of cheap. They are failing on my first pod and some of the seams are pulling apart. But I didn’t want to sit in the rain for 5 hours (2 games) so bought another at a local store. There are tie downs at each corner halfway up to secure the pod in the wind. But the way they are stitched, the tie downs wick much of the run off to the inside of the pod. Now I have a puddle in my pod. And to call this a two person pod is a bit of a stretch. You’d better be close friends.

Zipper came defective, but fast replacement sent. My first one I got as a Christmas gift from Dicks, I use as my smoke shack, and I sit in to watch Chiefs games, cause they lose if I come inside (per my children) so it needs to be durable. The first one lasted 3 winters in MO. I don’t think this one is quality made, it leaks and fills with water if it rains. In comparison to the first one, ” doesn’t”! Had such high hopes for it, we’re already starting out bad.
