Used the WEKAPO beach canopy for a week vacation in NC. Overall, happy with it! It does GREAT in light wind, but struggles in strong wind.
Set up…. Can be done solo, but is super easy with a few people. The sand shovel helps a lot.
Size… Can fit 3 to 4 beach chairs and a beach blanket.
Light wind… Once it is set up, you can leave it all day with no issues at all.
Strong wind… You will have to adjust, tighten, monitor all day as everything moves in the wind.
I had a Shibumi Shade last year. The Shibumi is king in strong wind, but useless on calm days. The WEKAPO is awesome for calm days, but will be a struggle on windy days.

It was so easy to put together, so lightweight to carry to and from, and gave such huge coverage of shade. I had my son and his friends assisting the first time we put it up, but I honestly think I can do this all by myself. It’s really good quality. Super easy to take down and store back in the bag. Had to do this quickly in Florida as a thunderstorm approached really fast.

This tent works exactly as pictured and I was able to set it up solo. The backpack it comes in stores everything you need neatly, including the shovel it comes with to quickly and easily fill the sandbags. The wind didn’t disrupt it at all even when the rest of the beach had to close their umbrellas. I was skeptical at first because of the price difference between this and the Neso, but I’ve used both and this is a far superior product. Basically worked out all the kinks in the Neso tent and delivers a better beach experience!

I love this tent! Our family of 8 used it everyday for our 6 day beach trip. The design is fantastic! It provided plenty of shade and sun protection for all of us. It’s very easy to set up, and even in extremely strong winds we had no problems. It’s also very easy to take down and to shake the sand off for clean up. It packs down into a compact and light bag for easy transport. I highly recommend this product!

This design is so sturdy. Set up is easy, just remember the tighter you stretch it before propping up the poles, the sturdier it is against wind. The built in inserts for the poles with the draw strings is a much higher quality than other designs. And the sand scoop that comes with it is a great addition to help make set up easier. We used this on our family vacation to the beach and it was perfect!

Love how it’s compact, light, and easy to transport. My husband and I set this up at the beach. It was very flimsy and didn’t hold up to the wind at first and I immediately thought it was a fail because it kept falling over. And then I realized I didn’t put enough weight/sand in the corners to hold it down better. Once I did that, the tent was re-adjusted and it held up as expected. Key is to strech it out as far as you can after adding sand in then prop up with the poles. It may take a few tries to get it right. I love the look and material. Turned out to be a good buy and would recommend.
