   Easy set up, waterproof, fits 3 people comfortably but could fit a fourth. I put a queen mattress inside of it.

   This is a tent for car and motor home camping. It’s too heavy and bulky for backpacking on a longer treck unless someone is willing to take on the bulk and weight. Everything necessary is in the included storage sack. It says four people but that is only if they are kids and don’t have any gear. For adults with some gear that will be inside with them this is really a two, maybe three person tent if everyone gets along!

   The pop up sleeved pole design is nice but it adds weight and set-up complexity so that is the trade off. Twelve pounds is a lot for a tent nowadays. The fabric is really thin so it’s not a tent for rough use. Perfect for the kids who want to “camp” out in the backyard or even pop it up inside to occupy the kids during a slumber party. Look elsewhere if you need a tent that can handle rough rainy conditions

   This easy to set up four-man tent doesn’t even take that long to put together. A very nice tent to take with you on those short camping trips. Most of all it’s very comfortable even with a 4 man crew. Nice quality that can withstand light weather.

   I’m disappointed in this tent. While it does “pop-up” as advertised, any time saved is then lost in stashing this down. With a traditional dome tent, the tent is stable without needing to stake it down in most cases. Unless there are high winds, putting your gear inside is usually sufficient. With this tent, staking it down well is required because of the flat sides and amount of flex in the poles. You will likely need to get new stakes, the thin stakes are flimsy. One was bent out of the package. The two poles that come with it are optional if you want to put up the integrated awning. They are kind of short in my opinion and require quite a few guy lines to keep them stable. The tent material is very thin and the rain fly is comically small. I don’t see this doing very well in the rain.

   I’ve never pitched a tent before but I hope that they’re all this easy to set up. With two people, we got it done in about 5-10 minutes as a rough estimate. I was pleasantly surprised by how strongly it held. It may not have been the smartest thing to do, but we found out the canopy can hold at least one full grown person. I was honestly shocked. The material does a good job of blocking out the sun, wind, and water when the shades are down. It didn’t rain but we were curious about the waterproof claim so we poured a bottle of water over it and it passed the test. It’s a great choice for a family outing as it holds two adults and a couple of kids fairly well.

   Definitely plenty of room for 2 people and gear but it’s not quite large enough to fit 4 people and your camping gear as advertised.

   It was easy to out together and material seems durable.

   Overall, good for 1 to 2 people but I think for a tent that size you could probably find a better value.
