The stakes it comes with, are not good for strong winds. Gave the tent good flying lessons twice, so my husband bought better stakes. And with the storms we had here last night I was still expecting it to have more flying lessons, but it didn't. If it wasn't for that, I would have giving it five stars. It kept all the rain out, it is very spacious and I really like it.

  • Love it! So easy to set up even if windy! Perfect for obx!

I have gotten sooo much use out of this hammer and stake kit over the past few months. I've definitely taken it camping several times, but it has also been the most helpful at setting up and taking down all the tents for these Vine reviews. It has made that process so much quicker. The hammer is of course... a hammer, but the stake puller is what is so nice about this thing. That hook has made pulling stakes out of my hard NC red clay dirt so much easier. It has a nice balance between light weight and build quality. Nothing on it has started loosening or wiggling. The stakes are great when I need extras and the bag has really been great for storing all of my tent setup stuff. You can see in my picture the stuff that comes with the kit and all the extra stuff I'm able to fit in the bag. Even with all that it still has plenty of room left for more stuff if needed. The bag is also well built and can definitely handle all the weight. You can also see that I have made a modification to the hammer. To cut down on noise and potential damage from a steel hammer on aluminum stakes, I epoxied a thick piece of leather to the hammer head. Some camp sites actually have a rule where you can only use rubber or leather faced hammers for noise reasons. The one complaint that I have, that is also kinda funny, is that when using the hammer it actually rings like a tuning fork! I mean in just keeps going and going for almost a minute if you let it. My guitar tuner actually picked it up as a B flat, lol! The leather has helped some, but definitely hasn't stopped it. It really pretty much just changed the pitch of it if anything (I haven't rechecked it with the tuner). I have a few ideas to stop it from ringing such as putting spray foam inside the hollow handle, but I haven't tried them yet. I usually just mute it with my hand. Other than the ringing though, I love everything about the kit. I've gotten a lot of use out of it, it is super helpful, and I definitely recommend it.

This is much bigger than I expected Usually the photos shown in ads like this make the item seem larger than they really are but this one looks true to size The whole thing fits into a nylon bag that’s easy to throw over your shoulder and take with you It’s light enough that almost anyone can carry it Setting up is pretty straightforward It comes with plastic spikes that may need to be hit with something like a hammer I know not many people carry a hammer with them so think about having something with you that might be able to hammer down a couple plastic spikes The over all size lets you have several people under depending on size Really surprised at how good this thing is for the beach

Bottom line - this is a great tent. The build quality of this tent really impressed me. I must have read over 100 reviews when deciding which one to purchase. The great reviews I found over and over for this model and for this company really drew me in. The customer videos are what clenched it for me - so thank you to those that uploaded the videos! This tent held up really well on my first adventure with it. Temps were mild, we stayed nice and dry during a short rain storm, and the winds were pretty hectic the first night. Despite that, setting it up was super simple and quick, even in the wind. Once the guy-lines were hooked up, I barely heard the tent flapping at all during the night - only during the heaviest gusts. It really is a nice design with the two chambers and doorways. The interior is surprisingly spacious, given the weight and size of it fully packed up. There was enough room for me and my lady (I'm 5' 11" and she's 5' 6") plus both of our bags (a full-sized backpacking pack and a smaller hiking backpack). This was important to her, to have room to keep our gear inside the tent while we slept, to avoid ticks or spiders getting in our packs during the night. Mission accomplished. Pros: - the included tent footprint is awesome to have - build quality is superb (sealed seems internally to be water tight) - spacious interior plus two chambers external to the tent to keep things out of the rain - fairly well-vented (never got too hot even for a late afternoon nap during an 80 degree day) - super lightweight tent spikes - included spike press - ridiculously simple to set up, with the single tent pole design cons: - a little heavier than other lightweight tents when you bring everything along, but great when split between two hikers - not the coolest looking tent, but that was never my deal-breaker Overall - great tent, and I highly recommend it to others on the fence. I can't count the number of times my girlfriend said "I love this tent" during our maiden voyage with it.

Fantastic! Easy to set up, fit a queen and twin air bed. Love all the windows for airflow. My only qualm? Takes up a lot of space in my trunk.

the title of this product is inaccurate—this is NOT the Tigerwall footprint. It’s the Tumble footprint, not compatible with the Tigerwall tent. I have received the wrong product twice now from this seller.

  • What a wonderful tent! I'm older and needed a tent that was easy up/down and roomy. I found it! So easy to put up. Took me 10 minutes the 1st time. 5 the next. Attaches to my truck cap. I used a pool noodle to protect the tent putting it on the edge of the cap window. Very easy to secure to the vehicle with the snaps, and was sturdy. Plenty of room. The window placement gave a good crossbreeze since I slept in the truck bed. I was able to put the top easily by myself also. Easy down. 1 fold in 1/2 then fold in 3rd's perfect fit back into the bag! Perfect for Car Camping!

This is my first, and hopefully last, review of any products I have bought on whatcampingtent.com. I bought the 300D Oxford Waterproof tent and I love the concept, but unfortunately the product doesn't hold air. I had inflated it twice, and the next day it is flat. I tried tightening down the valves but still did not seem to be holding air. They asked for me to send them photos, which I have included. I took a spray bottle out with liquid detergent and water to see if I could find the leak and hopefully it was an easy fix. Unfortunately, as you can tell from the photos, their seams are defective and leak. These were just three areas and there are actually nine seamed areas, with 4 seams each. So, easy math, you have 36 potential points of failure for leaks. When I sent them these photos, their remedy was that it comes with a patch kit and you can fix it yourself and as compensation for your inconvenience, we will give you $15. First off, my camp site is 35 minutes one way from where I live, to where the tent was set up, so this laughable remedy would not have even covered fuel. Secondly, unless you see how the inflatable bladder is zipped into the tent and what would be required to fully identify the leaks in order to fix them, you are talking hours, or days to complete the task. At this point in time, I was not longer looking for replacement but refund as their response was incredibly insulting. I said I would give him another 24 hours before I post review of their crappy product, and he came back with me still fix it but they would up it to $25. So, here I am posting my first review, and I would warn each and everyone of you considering buying this junk, to try another seller if you are set on an inflatable tent, which I was pretty darn excited about. However, I bought the old school tentpoles and stake tent until I can find the next cool thing. Good luck and I hope this helps anyone not wanting to waste $500 on their crap.

You get two stakes, two straps that provide loops to secure to, and a 14mm 1/4” impact driver bit. No bag. To install, unscrew the metal eyelet at the top of the stake to expose the hex driver features, remove the black plastic tip protector on the other end, get out your impact, attach the supplied bit, and drill away. In a semi-frozen March New Hampshire soil, it went in smartly with no issue. At the very end, my little impact reached its torque limit and clutched out, but the stake was in and extremely secure. Backing it out with the impact was easy, and, crucially, upon inspection the stake was in perfect condition. Nothing bent. though some of the paint when the impact gun was attached was chipped but this is to be expected. given the rocky soil, that is a testament to its sturdiness. I recommend these. If you end up getting two sets, totaling 4 stakes, your tent is going NOWHERE short of a hurricane.. I do wish they would include a bag for the five pieces in a set. 4.75 stars (no bag) rounded up to 5.

Bulky in my pack for starters. Tried it out last night finally. It was 56 degrees out and clear. Just me by myself but thought in an emergency my small wife could be in here too. I could not get comfortable enough to sleep. My lower half was too hot, upper was to cold. Eventually I realized that my arms would touch the sides of the tent and they were getting wet from all the condensation. The entire tent was soaked on the inside. Not sure if there is a solution to this besides keeping the doors open but I could get a much smaller easier to pack tube tent that has the same issue... Also, it might seem obvious but I have to say it is pretty difficult to get into without getting dirt and stuff into the tent.

  • First day using this tent and there's a square shaped hole in the side. Sadly there is no patch kit included with this tent. I had purchased the Asurion protection plan (don't even bother purchasing that nonsense) and submitted a claim only to have it denied saying that the tent was still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. So I try to reach out to the manufacturer but the website whatcampingtent.com provides is not the correct company. They had responded back and told me they don't even make tents. So I use the QR code found on the instructions that came with then tent... nope. Page comes up as an error. Even good ol' Google wasn't able to help me find the manufacturer for this tent. All I want is a patch kit for this thing- the temporary one we used on the fly from our blow up mattress isn't a permanent solution, and I think it's ridiculous that I'm not able to get any decent customer service on this product. Despite the fact that I actually really like the tent, this whole experience has been ruined by the inability to get any resolution for the gaping hole in the side of it. I'm extremely dissatisfied. *** I'm editing this review and giving 5 stars due to the customer service I received. After I posted my review, the correct seller (YZJ-Store) reached out to me directly and quickly resolved my issue. I'm very impressed with the concern they showed and the promptness with which they strived to make things right! Due to their customer service, I will definitely be purchasing from this company again.

This tent has to be the best idea I've ever had. When you're on a public beach there's no where to go to get away from the sun. This cute little pop up made it so much more enjoyable to stay out longer. It made the whole vacation so much better. I also purchased a sand free blanket, (the big blue sheet with the turtle), there is a small flap with the tent but the blanket gave us way more space to spread out. It was VERY windy the second day we used the tent and it did not blow away. It is easy to loose the stakes included. They held fast, but for my own peace of mind I might buy more substantial ones. Maybe not. Set up with two people is a breeze, even in a strong wind. Tearing it down and folding it up....let's just say it gave us a few funny moments and some silly stories. The first day we set it up and tore it down like total pros. Got it in the bag like I've done it 100 times. 2nd day...😆😆 I am certain everyone around us thought I was either drunk or have never collapsed it before. I packed quite a bit of sand in there as well. I DEFINITELY RECCOMEND becoming a pro at the fold up before looking so silly on a beach full of people. It's not hard, just tricky to twist at JUST the right time. I chose this pop up because it's a pop up. I was really glad after sitting and watching several people assembling their tents. Sure they're nice, but it took a while. I am beyond happy with our little pop up. Plenty of room for my boyfriend and myself, my overstuffed beach bag and a cooler and a candle speaker. Oh, the vent in the back down low allows for breeze to pass thru and let's you sort of spy on people without them knowing 😉😁🌴🐬🩵🌊 It was totally worth every penny.

Loved this beach shade! Took it to the beach and had no problem setting it up quickly. Best tip to making it stable is to pull the fabric as taut as possible after filling the sandbags. Then you can raise it with the posts. It definitely works best on days where wind isn’t too strong. We had one day when hurricane Milton passed south of us and gusts were up to 28mph and the canopy would flap but angling the posts sharply did help some. It never fell over though! Easily fit four chairs for the adults in the shade with four kids playing in the sand also still in the shade. A couple of issues we had were the post joints would stick somewhat and not come apart if sand got into them. Also I wish the posts were height adjustable because angling the shade did not work well simply by taking two posts out.

I've had this tarp for 9 months and have used it primarily for tarp camping on about 15 trips. For the price I can recommend this tarp. Pros: It is light weight, has plenty of tie outs, the square shape is ideal for different shelter configurations. The water proofing has held up to heavy rain in western WA, occasional wind, and hail. As long as you aren't letting water collect in a pool on the tarp, it wont leak. Even then it would take hours of saturation before water penetrates the fabric. It packs up nicely in the carry bad and dries out fairly quick. Haven't encountered any rips or damage to the "oxford fabric". Cons: The included rope was not suitable for my situation so I replaced it with 550 paracord. The grommets have become damaged when adding tension to the tarp using 2 half hitch knots. 1 grommet was completely destroyed (see picture), another is very close to being in the same condition. I can only imagine a truckers hitch would do even more damage. The stakes are cheap and bend easy; as other have mentioned: upgrade them. The reinforced stitch has held, but is showing signs of weakness. I will likely buy a replacement for the upcoming winter, but I am on the fence about trying a different brand for a better comparison. If the grommets had held longer, this would be a 5 out of 5. Maybe I should have attached my paracord to the fabric loop just beyond the grommet.
