The set up for this tent was super easy. The instructions are sewn into the generous carrying bag (yes, the tent went BACK inside easy with room to spare!). It took myself and my 13 yr old son to pitch this tent, and after we laid it out flat, it was easy peasy. The design of this tent is fantastic. The fiberglass poles are all attached securely at their "starting points", and the other side has heavy duty nylon pockets they're inserted in to. This tent truly goes up in 5 minutes. The material is durable nylon, and waterproof....but I will spray tent waterproofing on it anyways as I do all my camp gear. The seams are all taped. It's got lot's of interior storage pockets; hanging hooks; an e-port; tons of space; great ventilation; and two mud mats. Excellent family tent and great value.

Love the tent, stays nice and cool when everyone else’s tent is like a sauna 😎. The only complaint I have is the poles. I’ve had it out camping 4 times, and a few of the poles are starting to bow. Other than that, it’s a nice tent. Hopefully I can get replacement poles so the tent lasts me longer than a summer

This is a solid tent. Well made. The seams came taped. I set this up to waterproof. The materials were late coming. So left it up overnight That night a Fla thunderstorm came pouring out heavy rain. The tent stayed dry inside. While one person can set it up , two are better. The part of the rain fly blue is over the door. Hooking the elastic clips to the pole rings on one side makes it easier getting it on. This tent has a 10 year warranty. If you need a large tent, not super expensive , I recommend this one.

Just recieved my 3x3 in the mail. First no email confirmation it was recieved or sent. Arriving later than the date It stated it would come. Not a big deal but it causes second guessing? Like was it even recieved. When I opened it and looked at it I was immediately DISAPOINTED WITH THE CHEAP STITCHING. How difficult is it to set the machine for double stitches. Come on people I would gladly pay more for this. I hope someone at the company smacks who ever is in charge of this departmental ERROR. As I sit here I'm wondering who I can take this to and pay to have a second bomb proof STITCHING added to this. Doesn't look like it will survive the end of days as a gear piece I take as a displace migrant trying to survive the apocalypse. Lol God help us.

This is a five star rated tent for your camping adventures. I recommend this product.

  • My husband and I used the 6 Person GoHimal Tent at an astronomy camping trip last weekend. It's a double layer tent that is waterproof and windproof and seems quite sturdy. We found it quick and easy to put up and take down and the inside is very roomy with plenty of space for our two air mattresses, a comfortable chair, our bags and some equipment. The zipper openings on the three windows and door worked very smoothly and there was even a small zipper access area in one of the tent corners so that you could thread an electric line through to the inside and then zip it up so no bugs or water would get in. The flap on the screen windows can be opened to allow breezes to ventilate the tent through the screen and my husband enjoyed looking at the stars late at night through one of the screen windows. We like the tent so much that we have already recommended it to several friends. Nancy A

I'm not a big fan of my neighbors watching me rip huge bong hits so I use it to do casual drugs in and it's a nice little private space, although it's not very water proof but you can drape anything over the top to fix that problem and i would definitely take a quick second to watch the video of how to fold it up, it's super easy if you watch it once. This would likely be a nice little privacy hut at school sporting events as well, probably shouldn't rip bong hits at your children's school tho. Heyoo!

Great. Definitely the cleanest designed canopy weights, that don’t make a trip hazard. They don’t grab attention away from the booth. I ordered 2 sets. At the event in my picture, I feel like my booth may have still blown away under winds that were only 10mph, if I had only 1 set of weights. I’d like some of those C-clamps now, and have a design suggestion. Most booths have attachment rings outside the canopy in the top corner, like mine. Make another set of clamps that attach there, & go around the tent leg into the inside of the booth. I think having the weights inside the legs looks better than outside the legs. Plus, my booth have legs with “webbed” inside legs that I set the weights on top of. Instagram, Midwest Aromas.

Edit: After ~300 mi on the Appalachian Trail, the bug netting near the feet developed some small but noticeable holes in it, and the seam tape on the flooring started to weather. Overall, I think this was still a good value, but I plan on investing in something lighter for my next tent. Original: I haven’t put the tent through rigorous testing yet (specifically, I haven’t been through a heavy rain or for long-term durability yet) but will update the review if I find anything different than what I found in my first impression. I am 6’4” and 200lbs. This tent was plenty wide for me to sleep next to a full pack, but my head was basically at the top and my feet basically at the bottom. If you are taller than 6’4” I wouldn’t recommend this tent unless you prefer the fetal position while sleeping. The netting did a good job keeping bugs out. I like that there is zipper access on both sides. The fly kept me pretty warm when the temps dropped into the low 60s overnight. I can see this being helpful in cold weather camping and a pain in muggy, hot, rainy weather. That said, I don’t see this being a solid winter weather tent (i.e. you don’t want this in near-freezing weather). The one complaint I have that dropped a star for me is the stakes. I like they are lightweight, but two of mine bent going into hard (but not ridiculously hard) dirt. The company was quick to respond to my email about this, but I’m not sure this isn’t just a side effect of the lightweight material. I included a picture of this. I woke up dry with morning dew coating the fly and ground. I think this means it will hold up in rain, but until I test it in heavy rain I can’t call this with certainty. Overall, this is a solid tent at this price point. I wouldn’t take it on a long trip (like thru-hiking the AT) or in the winter, but I would take it for a week long trip during 3 seasons.

I bought 2 tents one came perfect and takes seconds to set up and just as easy to pack away once you watch a few videos and trial packing it up a few times. The second one came packaged the same but once I opened the tent the support wires became twisted and then I wasn't able to get it packed back up. You can't force it to fold up or you will further ruin the support wires. I messaged the seller and they answered promptly. I sent my pictures and they told me that they will replace my item cost free. I haven't received the product yet which is why I'm not giving them 5 stars yet. If the replacement project comes in then I'll update my review. Appreciate the prompt and fair resolution. Received another replacement product and it works perfect! I appreciate the excellent customer service and a company that stands behind their product with a very fair resolution!!

It's February, and Ohio weather isn't conducive to actually camping right now, but I ordered this wanting to be prepared for Spring. Very roomy and appears to be well made. Putting it up is extremely easy. Taking it back down, after a short learning curve and actually looking at the included instructions, was almost as simple. Light weight for easy carrying while hiking. If I find any additional plusses (or minuses) after actual use, I'll update the review.

This is *straight up* the exact same tent as the MSR hubba hubba tent. I'm not kidding. This tent is absolutely awesome. I got it because (like most people) I couldn't afford a $400 tent. This mongar tent came with a footprint, fly, and in purple. *purple!!* I set this up on a windy day just to see how it works, and it was *great*! When actually using it, I took it on a multi-day road trip where I packed and unpacked it for four consecutive nights, then another for two nights. There was not a single rip, tear, or snag in this thing after any of this. My boyfriend, who got a different 2 person tent off whatcampingtent.com, had at least twelve holes in his after the end of this journey. (yellow tent). He returned his. There are three little pockets - one of them is in the roof and can hold a light. The other two are at the head and foot of the tent and are shallow (about 5 in) and span the width of the tent. Size-wise, the tent is really snug for two people. For anyone over 5' 10" it might be uncomfortable. For one person, it's nice and comfy for a big sleeping bag, a sleeping pad, and a carry-on suitcase. The tent is very light and easy to put up. I didn't have any trouble except for the crossbeams. (the poles in this tent resemble this : >-+-<. The + part spins around and it can be a little hard to do them as just one person, but it's manageable if you line it up and then set up the poles. The fastening mechanisms that click the pole to the tent body are well made and won't unclip in wind or rain etc. Mine was fast to set up and easy to stake - stakes are optional imo, only if it's hot or if there's a lot of wind/rain. The way that the poles go into the footprint and tent body & fly, I recommend putting the footprint loops over first, *then* the tent body loops. That way if you move the tent the footprint won't slip off. The 6 stakes included are the really nice lightweight ones you'd find at REI (for like $4 apiece lol). Overall highly recommend this tent. It's totally worth the $. One thing different from the MSR hubba hubba - the body of this tent (the purple one) had a bucket floor but other than that it was entirely mesh. I was worried about privacy at first but then saw that I'd always put the fly on and that having the mesh really helped with ventilation. With the fly on, it's nice and warm, down to about 40F. I can't vouch for anything under that because I haven't camped in it. Overall I would recommend this tent to anybody! Especially people who are tired of overpaying for literally everything outdoor related.

Experienced some heavy rain first night out with this. Had a corner pooling up after a few hours. The fly is too close to the tent at the ground , there's about a 1-2" ground gap. This let's splashing around the edge actually get inside the tent because the screen goes too low. Luckily it slowed and I didnt get saturated. This is very light and a really nice build otherwise. For backpacking if you plan for good weather this is a great choice!

These weren’t the most heavy duty but they worked well for an awning in good weather with a very heavy canvas tarp. They replaced some telescoping poles I had bought from another seller that collapsed a bit. I really liked the silicone caps. I bought two sets. Really think they will work in mild weather and hope they will work in high winds. I’m not sure they’re heavy enough though. Very packable and light to carry.

I like this tarp, kept the sun off, it can be setup many different ways but if the wind blows it’s like a sail, it would do better in a treed area, overall happy
