I gave it 4 stars because it is a cheap little tent, still worth the price. Just a tad too long and wide to fit the Teton XXL Cot. Easily adaptable and it covers the whole cot. Unlike the Titon Vista. Twenty bucks cheaper. For this purpose, I would buy it again. I do wish it had a full rain fly.
We love going to the beach but hate renting cabanas to get out of the sun, searched for a small packable beach tent and this showed up. Assembled in living room to verify 2 adults would fit, set up was a breeze for just me alone. Not only can 2 adults fit, 3 or 4 can. Also, taking it down and getting every back into its original bag was very simple. That little tail zips up to fully enclose the tent to have a private change area. Each side has bags attached to fill with the sand the help stabilize it. I ordered a few extra sand bags because the stakes provided are very basic and I want to be extra secure. Fits in my "personal item" bag and doesn't weigh much. Very happy with this purchase! Can't wait to use it on an actual beach!
Why does a camo tarp have two bright orange logos on the corners? This is so gosh darn stupid. I ended up trying all sorts of removal tricks, but using good ol' duck tape and stamping it down before ripping it off removed the silk screen ink just fine! Otherwise, yeah it's a great tarp blah blah blah. I use it for hammock camping and other things, never used it as a different set up.
We got this tent in March of 2015 and we've used it multiple times. It's very spacious and has some great novelty items. The light is really handy and the kids love it. The windows roll up and down when zipped and unzipped. The hinged door is nothing to brag about, conscientious that it opens and closes easily but has to be tied open and doesn't line up with the door hole unless zipped. After a year and a half we have some holes where the poles have poked through the material. It has leaked water along the seams after a downpour in New Mexico. Not fun to be woken up by freezing drops falling on your face. We have put 2 queen mattresses in and a pack and play and still had a little room to stand and store our bags. It can be set up easily by one person, two people just make it set up quicker. It's not a bad tent for the price.
Ths tarp arrived without any accessories (TARP ONLY) and the carry bag came broken. So disappointing! I needed it for this weekend. BEWARE i think the product is not even new. Will immediately return it. Also the seems look sluggish! I think this product was returned by somebody else and sent to me as new.
I'm getting into backpacking and need a single person tent that's lightweight and really easy to setup. The Naturehike backpacking tent fits the lightweight department, but I'm not a fan of the design, poles and setup process. The total package weight with footprint, rainfly, tent body, stakes and poles weighted in at just under 4lbs, which is very light for the complete set. The storage bag didn't have the carry handles along the length of the bag as pictured, one of the reasons I got this tent, so I can attach to my backpack through the bottom straps and cross thread through the bag handles so they don't move from the backpack when side to side movement. The accompanying bag has only an end handle to shake contents out of the bag. The other main reason why I don't like this tent is the 2 lengths of the forked tent poles on each end. The head of the tent has longer poles while the foot end uses the shorter poles. After a long day of backpacking, it would be quite frustrating to use my headlamp in the dark and think about proper alignment of the head or foot of the tent with the proper poles. With the lower foot end, I must place my sleeping pad with the pillow according to the proper end of the tent. Again something to deal with when physically drained and mentally tired. Even in broad daylight with a 50/50 chance, I had to flip the forked poles around to get them aligned before committing to attach the clips & poles. The other issue is the single pole across the top makes the top of the tent very narrow. With the rainfly on, it's pretty claustrophobic inside. There is hardly any headroom. Crisscrossed poles provides a few more inches on top which helps tremendously useful when sitting up and moving around. I'm returning this for a single person backpacking tent that is brainless for me to setup for after a long, hot day on the trails. A tent with 2 equal length poles and equal sized tent on both ends so I don't have to deal with orientation of anything and don't make me claustrophobic inside.
What a mammoth of a tent! Haven’t used it for my party yet, however I’ve blown it up. Other than it’s .5 inches shorter than what’s labeled, who’s gonna tell?? Great for parties. I was anxious if a blower came with it. It does separately, but it’s part of the package. Really recommend it!
Genial!! Esta sombra para playa es mucho mejor que una sombrilla me encantó el material es muy bueno tiene todo que necesitas y su bolso está perfecto para guardar todo en el y no es muy voluminoso el color es muy bonito
So I took it on a 4 day, wet, hot, cold trip. For the wet weather, please please make sure you strap down properly, ( the top half) ( the top of tent is mesh to allow air flow which is great) cuz if wind picks up it will come unstrapped, also buy stakes that’s 6-8 inches deep. To make sure it don’t fly away. They give you decent stakes, but not good enough for high winds. For the cold, it’s great, I had a heater in the tent, and I had to shut it off a lot of times, it holds in heat really well. For the hot weather, great air flow throughout the tent, I added a fan and it’s great! But keep in mind, it’s summer so it’s not going to feel like a air conditioning house hahah, it’s camping it’s not perfect, but perfect you’re not dying of heat. Overall it keeps water out( if you strap properly) it has enough air flow to help with heat, and it hold in heat during cold times. ( if you have a heater) ( no heater, it does get cold) 4/5 stars, simply for the stakes, wish it was thicker and longer and not basic stakes. Oh the hight of the tent, I was able to some what stand up but with a little slouch. I’m 5’9” kids prob can stand up. As for blow up mattress, one queen to have room for your other stuff. Sleeping bags say 4-6 but no more then 4 for extra room and space. I always bring a small 2 person tent for luggage and Coolers.
This fit 3 people comfortably as well as all of our belongings. The instructions weren't very helpful so we looked at the picture and figured it that way. Only complaint was we couldn't figure how to secure the extra shade onto the poles so we had to improvise. Otherwise the wind would easily blow it away.
The product was top notch, and the service was too. Got the produce in a few days and was delivered on Sunday free of charge. It came with everything you need but the drill. Thanks again
I ordered this two room pop up tent to offer a shower & toilet car camping option. It's a mixed bag for several reasons: * The instructions are terrible. In fact, the instructions are for a single pop up tent, not a double pop up tent. * It rapidly expands into a flat stand up tent right out of the bag. This means we didn't get a chance to really see how it should be folded before we expanded it. And the=e instructions aren't very clear about how to expand it the rest of the way, so it takes some guesswork to figure it out. * It is VERY hard to figure out how to refold it to a size that fits back into the storage bag. I was unable to do it alone. And I came away from wrestling with it for 20 minutes unsuccessfully with very sore hands. My husband was able to finally wrestle it back into a size that fit in the bag. But when he finished, he said, "I really have no idea what I did that made it fold up that way." So we'll be wrestling with it again if we decide to actually use it on a trip. * It also has zero support bars for hanging a shower unit. We have a solar camping shower that I'd intended to use in this. But there is no way to hang it inside of this tent stall. So I'll have to come up with something extra if I want to make that work. * The stalls themselves are comfortable enough for us to move around in (one person at a time.) * There are pouches stitched into the sides, so when I'm standing I could stick my phone or shampoo or some tissues in there, but not much else. * There are also upside down pouches stitched to the bottom of the tent. No idea what those are for. * The bottom of the tent is open to the earth below, which is good if we can figure out how to use it as a shower. * The instruction sheet says it can serve as a rain shelter, but the tent doesn't seem very waterproof. Doubt I'd choose this again. This is a review for: GigaTent Two Room Pop Up Pod, Portable Shower, Camping Shower, Pop Up Changing Tent, Pop Up Privacy Tent, Camping Bathroom
After 3rd usage the product torn and came up from the anchor. This shouldn’t happen
I set this tent up by myself and it took about 20 minutes...not bad for the first time. What I liked about the tent: whipcord poles 2 pockets inside of tent extra pocket that you can attach in roof hook for led light in the ceiling zipper access in corner for power cord if camping where you have electricity directions sewn into the carry bag ripstop nylon material on the bottom of the tent Easy to assemble Rainproof What I did not like: I feel that the rain fly that sticks out a little in the front needs to be larger and stick out farther to prevent rain coming into the tent when leaving or coming. If the wind is blowing towards the front I do not see how the fly will keep the rain out on the screened portion of the top front. It comes with tie lines and stakes. Overall this is a nice tent and I could easily put my queen air mattress in it. When folding the tent back up, use the bag that holds the whip corded poles to make sure you fold it small enough to roll and fit into the carry bag. I found folding it into fourths worked well. The rain fly I also folded and rolled. I was able to get everything back into the bag. If you are camping with clear weather then I would recommend this tent. I did include a boring video of me watering the tent with a hose. Once done, there were no leaks. The bottom seems to be sturdy although from habit I always cut up a tarp to use under my tents to keep them clean and dry. At 8 1/2 lbs. it's a little heavy for hikers unless you are car camping. I think this Happy Travel Camping tent is reasonably priced.
Broke during normal use after only a handful of uses. This product is easy to put up and take down, and it provides great sun protection, but it is not durable. We only used it a couple of times, and two of the trusses broke when we were folding it up to put away. I'm so bummed since it worked very well and was easy for me to manage on my own. I reached out to the company (who only offers a 1 year warranty by the way) and they sent me a link to a replacement part. To replace both broken pieces would cost the same as buying a new one. So I cannot recommend it. Spend a little more for a higher-quality product, or expect to be replacing parts/replacing the product frequently.
