This thing came bent and warped. Hard to put up and probably will not get customer service. It’s so warped that putting it up was a pain but trying to get it down was worse. It’s lightweight. But could also be why it’s messed up now.
I LOVE THIS TENT! It is very lightweight, easy to put up, and you can just ditch the rainfly and sleep under the stars. I have no complaints, for the price, the weight isn’t bad. I backpack with my 3 daughters under 12 and we all fit very comfortably.
These tents are big and spacious as it should be. Folds into a small carry bag. This is our first ever tent. It was easier to build and take down without needing to have any experience. Specially, love the flexibility of having clear windows and roof when you need it.
It is hard to find this size of rebar unless you have a torch or grinder to cut up a 10 foot piece. It also nice to handle rebar without gloves, meaning no rusty hands or metal splinters. This rebar is very nicely coated black, and equally smooth finish. The issues I have, in picture #2 you can see both rebars on the ends of the row are bent, and if you notice in picture #3 the points are "really" off, a lot! But, I do not think the points would be an issue when hammer in the ground, but the bent ones would surely be a problem. The 16" size in length makes it perfect if you are erecting raised garden beds for added support in the middle either for metal or wood. Very Fast Shipping!
I got some water bags and bunjees from the top to the water bags (backup) to hold this thing down. I live in a notorious place for wind and we just went through 3 days of 70+ mph gusts and it didn't budge or tear. I like the flat top, and we use it for an outdoor shower room, it zips closed. I do need to put some kind of closure at the top of the zipper since it comes apart alot (as intended to remove and store the cover). Plenty of room though.
The first time I set it up (at home) one of the pole sections cracked just from the tension it requires to insert it into the end loop. The fabric on the tent held up- the aluminum pole broke ! No repair rings were provided with the tent. Not sure this tent will live long given the questionable quality of the poles.
I bought a two person, because I wanted room inside for a few little items. The zipper worked once and separated. Very poor quality. I cannot put it back together. Very frustrating and cheap garbage. I didn't use the sleeping bags and wish they didn't come with it. The blow up pillows are also a waste. The air mattress is not compatible and the full plug leaks. I feel that it is too small and I am 5'8" 150lbs. The tent material is very thin. They should sell just the tent-cot without all the waste items. I say to each their own, because I believe it is too small and not worth the over $300 cost. The broken zipper renders this thing useless and I am going to ask for my money back, unless they are willing to reduce the price by $120.00, so I can have the zippers replaced with real zippers.
So, it was my first time camping on the beach and I was told to get longer stakes. I found this item on whatcampingtent.com and figured this should work. Well 3am strong winds and rain hit us! I thought we were going to blow away into the ocean! But everything stayed in place. Long story short these stakes work! Performance✅️ Quality ✅️
As a 6'1" guy, I can say this tent was the perfect size for me. I don't know if I could recommend for taller people. The tent is easy to set up and pack. Very durable and, after seam sealing myself, doesn't leak. Reddit recommended this tent as a lightweight tent that didn't break the bank and I couldn't agree more.
For price v weight in a freestanding tent, it’s solid. Took it to 11,500’ and it withstood high wind and rain while keeping me and my gear bone dry. However, while breaking down camp the rear tab with the pole ring broke off… wish I could’ve used it again.
Bought this tent to replace a 30 year old summer moon that i had. I just dont like the stuff sack and rain fly. My old rain fly was easier to set up
So I wasn't expecting this to last long given the price, but at least I thought it could last me minimum half a year to cover next soccer season. The material of the umbrella, specifically the fabric is do thin and cheap. From one use the upper side of the umbrella got broken I don't even know how, but I think due to the wind pressure. You can see two small holes in the picture. The other thing that broke was the bag, at the end. The bag is same material as the shade. I took it out the box, put it in car trunk, and ride to the beach. Give them two stars because size is good and provides good shade.
Came packed very nicely. Instructions to set up easy to follow and easy to setup with 2 persons. Took maybe 10 mins max. Placed a Queen size air mattress in tent for a 3 day camping event. Had plenty of room for a small side table and all of our clothing and shoes. The 3 screened window gave access for air to keep the tent from getting stuffy during the hours when heat was in the 80s but a little wind. It rained during the event but the tent stayed dry. Only problem I had with the tent was the opening and closing. The zipper would get hung up in the material several times. Tear down was a breeze but fitting it back in the bag was difficult. I would still recommend this tent as it well serves the purpose and at a great price!
This review is for Life is Good 3.5' Outdoor Pet Shade, Versatile Pet Canopy Pop-up Shade Tent for Dogs, Cats, Small Animals and Livestock, You Had Me at Woof. I was really excited to get this for my dog. He likes the shade and he likes anything cave-like. It’s just a matter of setting it up where the sun doesn’t reach the inside of the tent. Even if it doesn’t always give him complete shade, it would at least provide some shade where there is none. Besides, it would give him some UVA/UVB protection. I personally like how easy it is to put up. Everything just snapped and clicked into place. It took me less than a minute to do that. The powder coated steel frame seems to be very strong as well as the Velcro on the canopy itself. Dismantling it was also just as easy and it actually fits right back into the carry bag without much of a hassle. I can also use this to help give shade to newly planted shrubs/plants when they’re struggling in the burning sun. Overall, I’m very pleased with this pop up doggy shade tent. It seems to be very well made with sturdy materials. I would give it a 5.0/5.0 - 09/11/2024.
Pros: - Very light and easy to use/install - Features are great - Doesn't collapse vertically, locks well Cons: - Prone to bending over time or under heavy stress - Joints seem questionable if height is maxed out - Horizontal/shearing resistance is questionable Picture is with one of the two installed that has been outside propping one corner of a 12x16' tarp up in wind and rain for the last 2-3 months. Ending up bending over time. Still seems sturdy, just seems questionable now. Put the second one up to help support the tarp and hopefully prevent the first pole from snapping.
