I love how cute and compact this canopy is! Some other canopies on the market can be so bulky and heavy, but this will be so easy to bring to the beach! The instructions seem pretty easy to follow, so that’s a big plus as well! Love the cutie little bag and the sky blue color! Overall seems like a good value for the money!
I purchased this thing in 2018 and we've carried it to the salty ocean shores for 7 years now, not to mention countless other events. I was originally concerned about the price, but year after year it's been the best performing, sturdiest, most well-built canopy I've ever purchased. I make it a habit after coming back from the beach to hose it down really well and pressure wash up inside the poles to get the sand out. Salt and sand will ruin anything if it's not cared for. The instructions show the canopy being removed between uses and put on fresh each time. We've never taken it off. For seven years it's held up fine being folded and packed away. It's super fast to setup, durable as can be, and totally worth it! This year we took it to the beach and one of my gang decided to try to set it up solo in 30 mile-per-hour winds..... It's not the canopy's fault. No canopy is made to withstand that kind of wind, especially while being setup by one guy in the sand. Somehow during the fight with it down the beach he broke one of the support struts. My only solace is that in the process of trying to set it up, when the wind flipped it upside down it wrapped him up in it in the process. lol. Serves him right! Guess what? I'm buying another one just like it! It was worth every penny and the next one will be too!
This tent was great. Took on a mom and kids camping weekend trip. This tent held 2 queen air mattress and 3 twin or 2 twins with luggage and a cooler. We slept 9 with room for more. Very easy to set up with 2 people. Had it set up completely in under 10 min. I did do a pre set up and labeled the piles but still very easy
I would like to give this 5 stars but it came with zero instructions and a large stain. It was easy to assemble once I looked it up online.
I like how easy this tent was to set up. First assemble the two long poles with bungees running through them. Then clip the tent clips all along the poles and that’s it. The rain fly simply clips into the four corners. The rain fly is extra long and they call it a snow fly, so that it can sit on top of the iclimb cot. I thought that was a neat idea so I went ahead and ordered the cot so I can put my tent on top of it. The tent material is lightweight, and most of the tent is covered with the noseeum bug mesh. The front flap of the rain cover can also be used with your trekking poles to create a canopy like front porch. It packs small so you could use it for backpacking. There’s enough room for your sleeping pad and maybe your pack at the foot.
No complaints. I fit really comfortably myself in the 2 person tent. It was really easy to set up. Cool colors 😎
I am very impressed with this CORE 4 person tent combo. My wife and I set it up without even needing the instructions. The poles are built directly into the tent which makes for no parts to search for. I think we had it set up in about 3 minutes. It says it can be set up in as low as one minute on the package. I think they are spot on with that assessment. It will be even less time to set up next time as we are now used to it. It didn't rain when we camped, so I couldn't tell you how waterproof it is, but it seems like nice quality material. It is rated for 4 people, which is a stretch. I think it would be more comfortable for 2 adults and one child. Or two adults and a couple of doggies. We were not cramped, but only had enough room for our gear and the table it came with. The tent came with two collapsible chairs and a folding table. I was so shocked to learn that each chair is rated at up to 300 lbs. capacity. Most of these types of chairs are not this sturdy. The chairs are wonderful. The little folding table is also a must if you do not have access to a table at your campsite. CORE makes great quality products. The tent itself is so easy to set up and fast. It makes for a small tent to put in the car for occasional camping. And it is light enough to backpack for a short hiking excursion. Although I would leave the chairs and table behind if I were to backpack the tent in. I am very pleased with this tent, 2 chairs and a small table combination.
Says it holds four but holds two people. It was raining and couldn’t see real well but kept us out of the rain and wind.
The concept of this single chair/person netting with zipper covering reminds me of the changing room used for camping. However those are a dark enclosure (unable to see in), this is more for bug relief if mosquitoes are about while outside. A large size, enough for a chair and person to be comfy, and has zipper openings in two (2) separate areas. The floor is fully enclosed, good if the ground is damp, or in a dirt filled area. This comes (as shown in the attached pictures) in a carrying case for easy travel purposes, but beware when removing. When I started removing, the entire covering leapt out from its spring based sides and opened before I could say "wait!' Once fully extended? I have no idea how you refold it to go back into the case, none at all. I have tried several positions? But the spring side poles are inter webbed will NOT bend easily, I am afraid they will snap and break? No instructions were included, so I am forced to leave it upright, although folded? It is frustrating and space consuming in height. I am not impressed, and yes? I am disappointed in the lack of multi functions, along with the inability to figure out how to return it to carrier. Perhaps I am simply stupid, maybe someone knows how to refold and return it to the case without breaking the spring poles. I however am not able to, so its just standing on my patio taking up space. I am sorry to say this, but unless you have dealt with this type of situation prior? I would not recommend, but if you can? Then please, order and enjoy. Just not the idea I had of what exactly this was useful for. Additionally? I hate to mention this, but I am just being honest in MY opinion here? It is kinda pricy for what you're getting, maybe just me? But I am including my perception of cost. Thank you.
The Timber Ridge Pop-up Gazebo is a good quality unit that’s relatively easy to set up after a small learning curve, though it’s tricky to do solo, requiring the gazebo to be staked down to effectively push up the roof. Otherwise, you wind up pushing up the tent. Additionally, the gazebo is difficult to set up in windy weather. After I’d popped up the roof on a 15 mph windy day, I struggled to keep the gazebo from blowing away. The guy lines are recommended in this situation, but I’ll definitely be using them every time I set up the unit, as an unexpected gust could become a problem. However, without having them marked off to know where to position them, I had trouble getting them into place. I’d recommend setting the gazebo up in calm conditions and getting the guy lines in place before the wind comes, and in cases where that isn’t an option, not using the gazebo. On the other hand, breaking down the gazebo was simple (provided you remember to remove the tent poles first), which I appreciated, and I particularly liked how much interior space the unit offers. It easily holds a table and chairs as well as extra items for a fun afternoon while keeping the bugs at bay. The fine mesh and flaps at the bottom are quite effective so far, and I expect them to remain so when we get into the heaviest buggy months of summer. The only thing I found concerning was that the gazebo’s roof strap popped through its rivet while I was holding it in an attempt to keep the tent from flying away during my wind setup. I was able to reattach it, but I’m not certain I’ll be able to do that again. Hopefully adding another washer on that screw will prevent it from breaking again in the future. Rating: 4.5 stars, rounded up.
I received my tent and few days ago. It was exactly the look and color I wanted. The size was actually a little bigger than it's advertised. Blowing it up was fairly easy once I realized that there was another inflate/deflate portal on TWO of the corner poles. I was wondering why it was inflate lol, but once I located the other vavle and closed it blew up fast. My only issue is that I found 2 small holes on each side of one of the small windows. They were easily spotted because light shined through the holes pretty bright. Other than that the tent is definitely nice! Can't decide if I want to send back for a exchange or path the holes and keep it 🤔
I have used this tent for backpacking about 6 times and is a great value. It weighs less than some more expensive counterparts and held up to rain and wind on my last outing. I look forward to using on all my trips this year.
This is a really awesome tent! I’ve set up a few times! It took a few tries to get it set really well, but it’s a really nice tent! Extremely well ventilated, very light weight! I would buy this over so many others! I’m just a normal person so I can’t really afford the other ultralight tents so this is perfect for me. I don’t plan on ever getting another backpacking tent. Just set it up last night to undergo a night of 35 mph wind gusts and heavy rain. And a day of rain back to back. And while it did develop a puddle in the foot end of the tent (outside) the inside remained dry except for a puddle that I’ll have to investigate further.
Strong and holds well
The tent comes in a compact carry bag, with the main tent shell, rain fly, folding aluminum frame tubes, and metal stakes. It’s a great bundle, given the price and the tent package you get. The tent is built well; the stitching and the materials seem to be of good quality. The bottom layer material of the tent is a very nice and thick (tarp-like) material. I usually put a footprint or tarp under a tent, but with this tent, you may need to do that. The other great thing about the tent is the size. It’s a spacious 2 person tent - it should handle two large adults and their gear comfortably. I have only put it together indoors, but once staked properly, the tent should hold up well. The rain fly does not cover the tent shell fully, so I would not use this tent in weather colder than 40 F. I took one star off for the slight difficulty in erecting the tent, due to the long loops that the aluminum tubes have to go through (vs. clips). While the loops are great for stability, they get bunched up while passing the tubes and it’s a little hard to un-bunch them if you are doing it by yourself. It may not be a big deal with two people erecting it. Disassembly was very easy.
