This absolutely is a great tent, I like all the detail on it. It's mostly using 2 poles as a structure and the poles are thinner than the regular one but still very strong. The setup is very easy due to only 2 poles but illustration of the instruction is a little confusing for the place to set the poles and I was wrong at the first time. Everything was going well after figure out the poles, very straight forward and smooth. The material is also good. I don't feel too much difference compare to my REI basecamp tent, it should be doing just fine as my REI tent but smaller. The smaller size also came with very portable weight, I think 4.4 lb is really good to carry without too much load. The one I got is for 2 people and it actually can sleep with 2 and not too crowded and I am happy with the size. So far I am not going hiking overnight but will try to simplify my car camping and this is a great tent for that. It will be perfect with my Exped duo 7.5 mattress. Also, I will recommend carry a tarp(footprint from REI) because it will help for reducing the moisture also protect this beautiful tent from the scratchy land.

This is the third tarp I've brought for hammock camping and it's the best. It's easy to set up, gives a good amount of coverage while still being lightweight. Of the times I've used it, it's only rained on me once but I stayed nice and dry. Would recommend.

  • Tent would be perfect if it wasn't missing parts for the door poles. Very roomy, lots of windows and vents. Very easy to set up. Reached out to seller. Waiting on a response to requested parts. Will update review after resolution of issue.

We used this for festivals, lake days, camping and soccer games. Great design makes it super easy to set up and lightweight to carry. It made a great replacement for the large pop up and is way bette r than some of those gimmicky shades that are so difficult to maneuver. This is okay in the extreme wind if you really steak it down. I also bought some heavy duty steaks to use with it as I found the steaks and the sand bags that come with it okay, but don’t hold up to extreme weather or work with all terrains. We have survived some hail and wind with no problems. The inverted screen design keeps the breeze coming through while protecting you from rain or blowing sand. The front flap doubles as a floor mat or you can zip up for privacy or extra protection when you need it. Fits 4 people seated comfortably usually in lawn chairs.

For a budget tent off whatcampingtent.com from a typical Chinese manufacturer, this is a pretty good tent. The poles are high quality and lightweight aluminum, which is important because it's the skeleton of the tent. It's fairly aesthetic, and overall well designed. Major flaws: The stitching on the base sections of the tent is very sloppy and does not inspire confidence. Will it ever be a problem? Probably not, but still, I would have rather paid an extra $10 for professional stitching. This stuff looked like somebody was paid 50 cents per hour to do at breakneck speed. I'm not sure if I should blame the rain fly velcro or the mesh used for the doors, but the scratchy side of the velcro tends to snag on the mesh doors and damage them. Be careful about that. Lastly, the stuff sack is poorly stitched and coming undone. Besides these flaws, however, I love this tent and highly recommend it. If you can keep your eyes on the base stitching and the velcro+ mesh problem, this is a great 2-3 season backpacking tent.

We setup the tent over a long weekend. Putting the tent together took 2 people approx 15-20 minutes. Poles didn't feel flimsy or easily break. Putting on the rain cover was a bit of a challenge but not too hard. The ground hooks are very sturdy and not easily breakable. The awning is very sturdy and provides a lot of shade on a hot day. Really liked the ceiling hook and gear holder. Tent was ventilated and not too hot. Zippers were easy to operate. Pros: Withstood 2hours+ of heavy thunderstorm rain with no leakage. Spacious, ventilated, holes for electric cables, gear ceiling pocket and side pockets, easy to use zippers, vestibule awning with ample shade, tall interior (I am 6"2 and the tent was much taller than me), divider to separate both rooms. Cons: some of the sides tend to lean inside, divider isn't fully covering the holes, the tent is tall but the awning isn't as tall. There is absolutely no way this tent can fit 10 people. This tent could fit 4 people comfortably but definitely not 10 people. Maybe 8 side by side like sardines. Overall great tent, defiant withstood the heavy rain and heat test. Very spacious for 4 people not 10. 9/10 would definitely recommend and will mostly likely buy a bigger one if I need more room.

This is an excellent family tent, it sleeps four people and has a little vestibule, the floor is a very thick tarp material that should weather and take abuse very nicely. One of the requirements I have in my tents is that the rain fly must come all the way to the ground and this one comes all the way to the ground. Good stitching and it comes with a huge bag, some companies trying to skimp on the size of the bag this one is very large so it's very easy to pack up the tent. The little vestibule is great for storing gear in out of the weather but not getting the tent dirty. It's really easy for two people to set up and take down. I'm very impressed with this tent.

The build quality is decent and I liked how they did include some tent repair kits and spare parts and the tent is spacious so it can fit a queen size air mattress in both rooms and can handle a good storm pretty well but it definitely takes two people to set up but isn’t so hard to do and it only took us 10min to setup the issue I had though is figuring out how the canopy in the front of the tent is supposed to work because all they give you is two short poles and they are not enough to make the canopy sit tight enough to fight against the lightest gust of wind so you will hear that flap around and we ended up not using the canopy because of it

It is a nice, lightweight tent for a hiking trip. The tent is very easy to deploy it in 10 min but for the first time you see the tent, it will take about 20-25 min. to deploy it :)

  • This tent is perfect for a couple of small family. It holds well with strong winds too, which was surprising to see! The extra curtain that comes with it also helps with more shade and hold the wind even more, plus has some storage on it that comes in handy. Super light, you can put it together in 5 min and tear it apart as quick as that! Plus easy to clean the sand off. I would definitely recommend this and buy it again in the future. Hopefully it will last us a long time.

I bought this tent for a fishing trip and when i set it up i noticed 2 small holes on the walls. This was quite a bummer because we were expecting rain and the first time setting it up was on site. I posted a 1 star review for this product with pictures and the company reached out to me and made it right. I was sent a new tent with no defects free of charge. I've bought a lot of stuff from whatcampingtent.com and I've never had a seller reach out to me. Overall the tent is good, was enough space to set up 2 twin sized mattresses with an isle between them and enough space for a tote at the foot of each mattress. It set up very quickly and went down quickly though i found it a little challenging to get it back in it's bag. I can't attest to how well it does in heavy rain, it rained slightly while using it and i didn't notice any water in the tent. The materials don't seem to be the highest quality but it is a great shape and feels spacious. Overall for the price i give it a 4/5 stars only because the first was defective. I highly suggest inspecting your tent BEFORE you go on a camping trip.

So I've been camping with this for a few weeks. It's easy to set up and take down. Plenty of space for 2 adults and a Saint bernard. We set it up during very high winds and it required tying off the sides with the guide cords to prevent the tent from collapse. I'm taking 70+ mph gusts. Zero issues with normal winds. The rain fly is fast and easy. Like others said this is for car camping it's 5' long and 40 pounds or so. Seems to be holding up good. As you can see in the video it's simple. I'm not a professional camper and it took me 45 seconds. I did pound in 8 stakes but you don't need to see that. The rain fly attaches in 10 seconds and is easier if the top is collapsed but can be installed with it up.

4 section pole telescopes from 31” to 94” by twisting one section relative to the other. once locked in place, they stay in place. removable rubber ball at the top protects your tarp / tent fabric. Underneath is a metal spike for use through a grommet. Bottom end has a rubber end cap. comes with 4 stakes and 4 rope tie-downs. metal is sturdy, appropriate thickness. Finish is a uniform matte black. Label along the shaft indicates appropriate direction to twist to obtain the desired effect. Overall, I really like the poles, they are comparable to the popular brand at a lower price point, but the bag is too tight in girth. After trying to repack everything for several frustrating minutes I found there is exactly one way to precisely position the poles and accessories which will permit the zipper to fully close see photo). Adding literally $0.02 of fabric to the bag would make it vastly easier to quickly repack. As I am a big fan of fast setup and tear down, and expect my gear to facilitate that along with having acceptable storage included with the purchase vs. improvising something else that works better, this bag fit was beyond annoying. In contrast, the popular brand, which I also own and use, comes with a hassle-free storage bag. Again, these poles themselves work great and seem of good quality. Stakes and tie-downs were satisfactory. Qualified recommendation; if you find a better storage bag it would be 5 stars.

It boast easy popping up, but it was actually kind of hard for me. I could only find the directions to pop up in spanish but I was able to look at the pictures to help. What is the most frustrating is that poles are attached so when you are trying to layout the tent they get in the way and make it hard to lay out. The poles don't even go to the edges of the tent you have to pull them out and stake them the pole just pop up the middle. So one color goes in an X and the other color goes straight, and you put them in their corresponding color pockets right next to the door on both sides. I was getting confused because I was taking them to the edges and that is not how it worked. Once I figure it out it was easier. The top rainfly also had color coded hook. You hook the red one into the red hook in the tent so you know you are putting it up correctly. The rainfly was pretty easy to put on. The tent is really big. We had a king and a queen air mattress in there and then plenty of room in the middle for our luggage and stuff. There is a bunch of pockets everywhere which is helpful. It comes with two battery operated light things both take 3 AA so in total you need 6 AA to use them. There is pockets inside the tent to hang the battery and then you string the lights inside there is guide pockets to put them. I didn't see a place outside to hang them but I didn't really look, since I found the two places inside for them. They worked well, you just press the button and they light up. The tent is tall, I could stand up in the middle no problem. I am 5'6" and it was easy to stand. In the end, packing up was a bit hard but we were able to shove everything into the bag so that was good. It also came with a tiny tarp for a door mat, we brought a tarp for that so we used that tiny tarp for the mat at our hammock. But overall, much harder than I anticipated putting it up.

I bought this tent because I mostly live off the grid and travel for various reasons. I wad looking for something versatile and durable. I was a bit apprehensive after i bought it. Will it stand the test of time and travel. By large, durable and versatile enough for my needs. So far it's far exceeded my expectations. I set it up as soon as i got it. That took a little figuring out as the instructions on the inside of the carry bag are unclear.. but I figured it out fairly quickly. After 3 set ups it takes roughly 10 minutes to set up and get your gear inside ready ti go... here's what i do. ... 1 - take it all out and unroll.. stake the long side first, at the same time I lay out there guy lines and stake them leaving them loose.. then I put in the window pole and stake.. pull tight.. do the same for the other side.. now the center triangle.. put together.. open one door.. slide in and up.. put the long strap on leaving just right enough to kind of hold it.. zip door... tighten guy lines.. then the pole strap.. 7 to 10 minutes maybe.. Last night was my first night.. it got down to 50 degrees in later October in northern California. I was really warm im it last night.. without a heater. I'll write an update after using this more in various weather.. UPDATE 11/21/22 I've been in this tent every night for almost a month.. Thru every weather but snow.. it stays very warm and dry, even without the stove. It takes very little to heat up. It rained for 3 days pretty hard and steady, no leaks.. I've posted pictures above, they aren't great but you can see the room..
