So far this tent/gazebo has worked great. Got it in perfect shape, went up pretty easy with some help from the kids and it's more sturdy than I thought it would be once up. We used the sand bags they give, filled with sand and placed at the edges of the gazebo, and also the bottom ties/spikes to hold the tent out and in place. With that it's sturdy, but they also have ties/spikes for the top of the tent too we just didn’t use them, but with those, this thing would be very tough to knock around. Inside room, there is just enough to get around for head room. I'm 6’ and with the table in the gazebo as seen in the photo I put up, plus chairs, there was room for me to navigate in and out of the tent with just grazing my head on the net on the sides. That’s because of how it tapers up at the top. The very top of the gazebo is at least 7’ in there so it won’t be a problem for most everyone. We also had our dog and his dog bed in there with us because he has to be outside with us any time we go outside lol. The netting feels pretty solid, just can’t hit it with anything sharpe obviously or it’s done for. It’s tight once you get the gazebo pulled out and staked in the ground so anything sharpe will rip it easily. The zippers work great too, no snagging there. Some surprise things I like was that there are hooks on the inside top of the gazebo, on each of the six corners and I was able to hang those solar star lights on there. I didn’t catch that those were in there when I bought it, but when I put it up I thought it was perfect for what I needed. We did a dinner night ‘out’ at home and this worked great to do that without mosquitos! :) Also the netting let in just enough air to be ventilated but not so much breeze to feel it in a bad way. It was a warm night so I had a fan blowing into the tent to help with ventilation and because we have a candle in there to keep that smoke dissipated. The very top of the tent is not ventilated, so keep that in mind if using a citronella candle inside it or anything that makes smoke. Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for and it works great. Hoping it holds up for some time so we can keep using it!

The item came used with dirt all over the tent spikes and a used straw in the bag…not happy.

Was trying to decide between a regular pop-up tent or this. Bought it becuase of the whatcampingtent.com special sales, it looked light weight and easy to set up. We've had it one week and this weekend were able to use it, not at the beach but out on the grass so we had to use the tent tie down loop, which broke off the first day. Wasn't a windy day or anything. Got what I paid for I guess. If recommend going with a regular pop-up instead. We can probably still use this on the beach but if it's windy, we may have an issue.

Been great so far. We live in an area with high winds so I was a little concerned but we have had it up for two weeks and haven’t had a problem. We have two large cot’s and a large air mattress inside and still have room. Only gave it 4 stars for the rain because we haven’t had a good storm since I put it up. With the little rain we did get the tent held up well.

Just set this up to test it in the driveway. Really great and easy to use even for one person. Reply nice large space underneath and lots of ways to tighten it up and dial in the fit. Looking forward to using it in the field. Really like the neutral colors. High quality materials and make, really practical and good fitting storage bag and bags for pole and spikes. Glad I gave it a try!

My dream is a screened in porch but until then this is a cheap gem find! This is perfect so I can sit outside without getting eaten by mosquitos. It is an A frame so I can stand in the middle fully upright. I am 5'5". This is not for tall folks to walk around- You get in and sit. It is also made of delicate net so again -just get to your spot and sit. Be careful not to snag with the zipper either. BTW it has lasted in the wind and rain since I have a heavy plant in there. I feel like I can get a few summers out of it if I am careful. I think I will find outdoor cushions and do it up harem style instead of the chairs. all in all worth the $ to not have itchy bites.

The best beach tent ever! Very light weight, so easy and fast to put up and take down! The sand pouches are brilliant! It's stays put even in the Gulf Coast wind! So worth the $$. I will never go to the beach without it!

The anchors are working as intended holding up the wet laundry lines and poles. They were very easy to install using my impact driver. I did run into three problems, the first the hex head on one snapped off, the second problem is carabiners are not rated the same as the wire so they opened up and were useless. The last problem was the tool that came with the set does not fit between the nuts, so grab an open ended 7 mm wrench to tighten the nuts up.

This beach tent is very roomy. We are fortunate enough to have a creek on our property but currently do not have a shade structure. This is perfect for temporarily proving our non-swimming guests a place to take shelter from the blazing Florida sun. It was overwhelming at first because of the amount of poles, but the tent goes together easily enough with two people. The fabric cover is very stretchy. At 6'5, my husband had to duck to fit but at 5"6 I walked in nicely. Once you're done, you can disassemble the tent and put everything back in the black zippered carrying case.

This is a BIG Tent - or as they refer to it, a "Cabin". It's VERY roomy. My husband is 6'1" tall and can stand in the tent, also included is a pic of him laying down inside the tent and clearly there's plenty of room. SIZE: Does it fit 10? Realistically more like 4 (maybe 5) adults or a Family of 5 with kids, plus gear. The "plus gear" is really nice because so often a tent will fit sleeping people but with very little extra room for gear. It's also big enough to accommodate camping cots, probably at least 4 with some space between. ASSEMBLY: Two people can have this set up pretty easily. The corner poles are extended - they click into place with a metal button click, then the off-center poles, and then the whole thing is raised up corner-corner and the poles snap into their extended place by pushing on the center joints. There's instructions - those could be a bit more clear - but we figured it out (after some lively discussion...). Like any assembly, once it's done the first time it'll be much easier and half the time the next times. CANOPY: The canopy will be a must-have for any rain or weather, as the top of the tent is open netting. Two people toss the canopy over the top of the tent, work the corners into place, and then clip them to the loops on the tent corners. For placement the logo goes in front. If it's definitely going to be dry then the open net ceiling gives a realistic "sleeping under the stars" mode. STAKES: Includes stakes and a stake bag. ***A rubber mallet (or similar) will be needed (not included).**** WINDOWS/DOOR: Very generously sized zip open/shut front door and windows. Zippers seem substantial and should hold up. Will update the review if they don't. EXTRAS: Has nice extras, such as a front of the tent (or interior) mat for shoes or messy gear. Has loops on the ceiling to hang lights, fans, etc. Has small indoor pockets, and a covered opening specifically to run an extension cord through, TAKE DOWN: Easy to take down, it's basically assembly in reverse. Everything folds up and fits in to the storage/carry bag. BAG: Bag is roomy with sturdy handles. It might be nice if it had a shoulder carrying strap, but it's not a deal breaker that there isn't one.

I bought this for our baby to lay in while at the beach as a personal umbrella with sun coverage. My 2 year old also ended up sitting in it and played, the size was perfect. I liked the mesh window to allow for the wind to move through and it helped from being blown away. It comes with stakes and pockets on the outside to fill with sand to help keep it grounded. It comes in two pieces that you zip together. I didn’t have any issues with the quality of the fabric. I practiced folding it when I was at home, and I still struggled to fold it when we were on the beach. It comes with a bag that has pictures for folding directions but it was still hard to figure it out. Overall it was a great purchase, it looks good, and it’s a lot easier to transport this than a huge umbrella and blanket.

The tent did great. Took it on a 6day kayak/backpacking trip to grand Tetons. It was cold at night and rained almost every night. Only got some water in it one night but that was due to some logs being too close and I wasn’t able To tie it off well enough on one side to keep the rain fly from drooping and touching the tent. Other wise it was great. Love the flaps at the bottom of the rain fly! Keeps all the water shedding away from the tent like a gutter. Maybe a little heavy for backpacking depending on what else you take but for me it was fine being in a kayak most of the time. Only issue I had was with the carrying bag. The zipper broke on it the second night of our trip. But it has straps and buckles built into it and I had it in a dry bag anyway as we were kayaking. Not a good enough reason to return it. I’ll just get another bag to store it in.

This tent has been a fantastic purchase. For the money, I am quite impressed. I have taken this on multi-day backpacking trips and deep winter camping expeditions. From sharp rocky mountains to soft desert sand, It has held up phenomenally well. The bottom shows no signs of punctures or tears after over a year of use and dozens of nights spent inside. Positives: -I would trust this test in wet and snowy conditions -I am 6' 4" and can sleep comfortably with my pack at the head of my sleeping pad. -The vestibule created by the rain fly is very spacious and can easily keep a 65L pack, boots, and extra gear dry and out of the elements. -Durability has been great and I camp mostly in the rocky mountains and deserts of the west -This can pack up small enough to strap to the outside of a smaller 30L pack or fit inside of a larger 65L pack. -Fast to setup with the single pole design Negatives: -This tent is not light "Ultra lightweight" at 4.5lbs (But I say this is a trade-off for durability) -The single-pole design doesn't leave a lot of room for side sleepers. I often find my back resting against the mesh and rainfly. I do use a 3" thick sleeping pad so that takes up some vertical space. A smaller person may not have this issue. - The Velcro on the rain fly opening is kinda meh and I wish it was just deleted from the design altogether. -Might need to buy beefier stakes (depending on your environment) Overall I am very pleased with this purchase. If you are looking for a compact tent to do short backpacking trips or even a tent to keep under your car seat for emergencies I would Highly recommend this option at this price point.

  • We are extremely happy with this shower tent. It is very sturdy, and has held up in some very strong winds. I love all the windows and straps to hang things on inside and out. The material is thick enough, so no one can see through while you shower. We drove over a pole by mistake, and product support staff were helpful. They sent us a replacement pole quick & easy.
