8 aluminum tent pegs with reflective pull cord. This little detail is great for being able to see the pegs in the dark. Comes with a small stuff sack that you can fit a tent pole repair coupling and a few extra (3-4)pegs in. My tent is the REI Half Dome 2 Plus and it takes 4 stakes for the corners, 4 for the corner guy lines and another 4 for the doors and vent guy outs. So I had to order more because it only comes with 6. I have had really good experiences with a bunch of other Sea to Summit stuff (cookware, stuff sacks, bag liner) so I decided to give these a try. So far with about 2 trips and 7 days under their belt - they’re good to go. Only other ones I’d considered using are the MSR Carbon Core. Just remember, they are classified in the ultralight gear range, meaning you can’t beat them into the ground. That said, I haven’t found a lightweight stake that can. If that’s what you need, consider going with a heavier duty drive pin like a 50 penny nail or something similar.
I have the one Tigris cots and this tent will fit about four of those with the extenders on, with my stove in the middle with maybe enough room for one or two chairs or bags or whatever. It's going to be perfect for my float trip that I'm going to take this next year. The stove actually keeps it really nice and warm in there. In the picture is the fireproof blanket we did buy to drape along the side of the tent so that when we have our fire going, the embers won't burn the tent . I watched a bunch of reviews on YouTube before buying this one and we set it up outside in the snow and it was fairly easy to set up. Some people didn't really care for the price point but for me I also use the Cabela's guide tent which weighs 29 pounds and when I'm being flown into a remote hunting spot in Alaska and I have to carry a couple hundred pounds of gear I don't wanna make multiple trips with heavy gear so this tent weighs about 14 pounds and is really ideal for me for what I'm using it for.
Two poles are very sturdy and portable. It can be broken into pieces and carries in a carry bag that comes along with it. The locks between the parts stays properly and I am keeping holding the tarp for 2-3 days and it is still intact currently. 2 days it rained heavily but no issues with the set up. It is a good pair of poles. Recommended.
We are very disappointed. This is only the second review I have ever written and the first one was for a very positive experience. We carefully put this tent up and it actually went up fairly easy. The instructions could have been better, but we figured it out. We put the tent up carefully and then left it up. It rained, but not terribly hard. Much to my dismay, we returned the next day and found a broken rod in one of the bay windows. When it snapped the rod poked a hole. Both are shown in the pictures. I found water in the tent in multiple areas which was confusing because it didn’t rain that hard. Then I found micro tears in a few stitched corners. But where it leaked the most was around the zippers. The picture shows that even when zipper is closed there is a gap where the water falls from the outside wall and finds it’s way inside. So we are returning this item assembled and disassembled once and unused. The hard part is that we had waited for this product and we need it for the weekend. But now we are forced to buy something else and quickly. Lastly, the quality doesn’t match the price point. I would not recommend this product.
Bought as a replacement for a similar product at a similar price point that lasted 2.5 years of heavy use (live in Hawaii). This one had a torn seam and several spots where a seam was about to give the very first time we set it up. Very cheap construction with cheap materials. Had to return it.
Perfect size and easy set-up.
I’ve used this tarp for a number of hammock camping trips over the last three years, and I have to say that it has been an excellent tarp. My 11 foot hammock fits comfortably underneath, and I’ve never had a drop of water get in. The diamond shape is something I really love. Somewhat out of style these days, but gives a much more open and scenic view from your hammock than a hex shaped tarp. The diamond doesn’t provide quite as much coverage or privacy as a hex, but makes up for it in increased ventilation on hot days. The diamond shape is definitely my pick for summer trips when I don't have to worry about truly violent storms. Hanging the Foxelli is relatively simple. The guylines work well, as do the plastic sliders. But learn how to hang the tarp before you go out on your first great adventure. Learn how the sliding tensioners work, and how to tie a line to a tree with a trucker's hitch. Those two points will make your first official hang a breeze. All in all, I highly recommend this tarp. It’s honestly a steal for the price. Good durable materials. Excellent stitching. Not too heavy or bulky. Keeps off the rain, sun and bird poop. Just enough tarp to get by with, for a person who wants a minimum of coverage, and a maximum amount of view.
Great tent! Easy up and down. Includes poles to use doors as awnings either front of back. Window covers also have loops so they to can be tied out allowing windows to be open during rain, or create shade. Good quality. All seams taped. 4 would be tight, 3 with gear doable, but 2 with gear allows plenty of room. Can throw in a couple of pups and still be cozy. Overall very pleased with this purchase. Due to the design of this tent water will pool at the very edges where all the poles meet at the ground. Rain will also get in thru the doors went going in or out during a rain event unless you crate the awning with the doors. I would recommend this tent for sure. The quality and features at this price point is outstanding.
This sun shade is AMAZING!!!!!! It’s super light weight and easy to carry to the beach! Putting it up for the first time caused a little bit of user error but the QR code and instructions on the packaging really helped once we decided to read them haha, and after that we had it set up in less than a few minutes! Customer service was truly amazing, as I received a handwritten note from the owner inside with our Wekapo! While we were on the people lots of people stopped to look at our awesome sun shade (or us struggling to put it up before we read the instructions haha) I highly recommend this sun shade! Great price, great Quality!
I got a new tent this year to go camping on Mt. Hood. I went alone because none of my family wanted to go or could get off work. I struggled with getting a 2, 3, or 4-person tent. This one was just perfect. This 3-person tent just fit the queen size air mattress with about a foot to spare at the entrance. In retrospect, I would have liked a little more room with just the tent floor. Since my queen mattress sprung a leak, I got a twin size for my next trip since I may go alone again. With the queen air mattress in it, it would have fit two adults comfortably. Maybe two adults and a small child. For comparison, when my daughter was about 3, we had a 4-person Coleman tent and it fit us quite comfortably for camping up on Mt. Shasta. This tent would be a little tighter. I like to be comfortable so I don't recommend more than two people in it. It was very easy to set up. It as two main poles and two short roof poles. The roof poles are a little unusual but once your realize how they clips in, they're great. Really keep the doorways up. I recommend setting up first in your back yard in good weather so you can familiarize yourself with the setup and takedown. I got the footprint with it and it was really handy. I like the way the tent poles fit through the eyelets in the corner of the tent and the footprint at the same time and keep them together. The rain fly clips in the same way to the main poles. I set the whole thing up without staking it, and then I was able to shift it on the ground to find an optimal position. I highly recommend the footprint. I camped in a forest below Mt. Hood in rainy conditions, and it kept the tent floor dry and clean when I packed up to go. It's a lot easier to clean off the footprint than the tent itself. https://www.whatcampingtent.com.com/gp/product/B09KYKNGTY The rain fly worked great -- kept me dry in the rain and shields the whole tent wall. Though the fly is not vented, I did not feel stuffy, although I opened the fly doors at both ends when it wasn't raining to air it out. I also liked the way the rain fly made a vestibule at the door. I brought a small accessory tarp and folded it to fit beneath the fly outline at the vestibule (so it wouldn't channel any water into the entrance). This worked out great to have a staging area where I could take my shoes off before getting in the tent. Kept everything a lot cleaner. You can see it in the photos. I set it up in wet conditions between rain showers and it went up quickly (after having practiced once at home) and stayed sturdy and dry the whole time. There's a little loop in the ceiling to hang a light. I used one of these tent light bulb lanterns and it was perfect. https://www.whatcampingtent.com.com/gp/product/B01KW22W74 The little pockets at the corners were handy. The only minor drawback I found was that there didn't seem to be a handy way to roll or otherwise secure the rain fly door flap over when you open one side. I managed, but it was a little insecure. I think if you unzip both sides it'll roll up and secure at the top with a little strap, but I didn't want to bother with both sides. The rain fly zipper stuck a couple of times but I was able to free it up.
It took me almost a year of shopping to finally pull the trigger to purchase the T4 after a less than good experience with another tent I purchased two years ago. The T4 set up was as easy as the videos show. I was excited to see the tent came with its own subfloor tarp and probably the most aggressive tent poles I have ever seen...LOL. I loved everything about the T4. I did see some spots of water inside the tent. I am not sure where that came from but they were literally just a very small amount. Take down of the T4 was even easier than the set up. I would recommend this tent to others as long as they don't mind the limited door opening space.
The item I’ve got is used and full of dirt
This cabana was perfect! It is very easy to put up. Simple for one person but even easier for two. It takes a little strength to push it into place but very doable. Once the sand is in the pockets, it is sturdy. We expanded the sun wall as far as we could to increase the amount of space we had. This narrow space served as the perfect place to put our wagon, cooler, and other stuff. I wanted to get the 10x10 but couldn’t find one that had the sun wall. It would be nearly worthless without the sun wall. Even at 6x6 this was still big enough for 2 chairs very comfortably and 3 if positioned right. We had another small umbrella that we used to expand our space. I would buy this again for sure! I love the thick tassels. The material is durable. One thing I couldn’t find in any review was the way the sun wall attached. I wanted to be sure it could move it easily. I’ve included a picture to show how it attaches. It is super easy to move when the sun changes positions.
The kids loved the idea of a tent that they could stand up in and change there clothes. This definitely made camping so much easier.
Very cheaply made just put up yesterday and tore. Steaks for the ground bend extremely easy overall just very cheaply made
