I love having a place I can get out of direct sun or wind-driven sands, yet still have a view of the ocean. With room to lay down (I'm 5'3") and my 2 little dogs, I can rest comfortably on the sand, without getting sandy. Easy to set up and take down.
I feel like some of the pictures in the description were a little misleading. It’s not what I thought it was. I thought this was more of a tent for a hammock. You will have to crawl or crouch down to get into this. I wanted to be able to have a chair in this and change my clothes but it’s not possible. You will also need to purchase more guy lines and stakes as it doesn’t come with enough. I don’t believe it’s worth it for the price. It’s nicer than some hammock rain flys or a tarp but I am a little disappointed with it. I will continue to use it however until I find something better.
The vertical rods don't have spikes or a foot elbow to attach to hold it in place. So the only thing to holding it down are the tent spikes. You need 3 people to set this up. The vertical rods have to be attached to the roof elbows & spread out or you'll loose balance & it caves in. So not a quick pitch. The rain cover doesnt have any velcro to hold it in place so tie it down secure. It did rain & water did get into the fiber rods so not rain proof. Tearing down was quick but rolling it up was a pain. It should have a floor valve/drain to use a vacuum to suction our extra air as you roll it up or in case water does get it.
Great tent. Easy setup and take down. Packs easily into bag. Spacious interior. Lots of usable storage. Great star gazing as well.
Perfect for the beach. My one year old was able to play in the water and sand while being protected from the sun. He enjoyed it a lot. Could also be used without the water to nap under. Didn’t fly away. Easy to install and put away. Got a lot of compliments.
The Onewind rainfly replaced my old one which finally ripped when snow fell on it from a tree. I wanted something light, durable, and with lots of options on how it could be set up. This rainfly fits the bill perfectly. The price was low enough to keep my wife from complaining, and it delivers all the qualities I wanted. With all its tie-outs you can set it up so many ways and being able to close off the ends is great in the wintertime or with heavy weather. The tie-outs on either side of the ridgeline allow you to widen the inside dimensions using poles or just some sticks you find. You can spend a lot more on similar rain flys, but why when this is available?
I bought it to try out with my truck camper. It held up well in the heavy rain (though I had to manage it when water collected in it). The poles are sturdy, easy to set up and break down. It folded up easily to fit back into the carry bag. I like it well enough that I would buy it as a gift for camping family members. I will have to add extensions to the poles to make it high enough for my door to open and close if I want to situate the awning at the entrance to the camper. But placed off to the side it was easy to set up. It comes with suction cup attachments that can't work on my rig, but on a smooth surface of an SUV it should work fine. Overall I think it's a nice addition to my camp set up. I'm pleased with my purchase.
Worked great. Bought for my very pregnant cousin to use at a family reunion over the summer. I was able to blow up and put in a twin air mattress. Plenty big. Great value.
Got this for backpacking trips where it would just be me and my backpack I should’ve paid a little bit more attention to the size of tent as I am 6 foot tall and I do not fit long ways in the tent. If I lay down, diagonally my head and feet still touch the fabric. Would be good for women or kids or shorter people in general. They make a solo mountain tent as well that is 8 foot long which is more suitable for tall people. on first assembly one of the brass grommets that the tent poles go into came loose out of the fabric. But I contacted the company and they were really great and easy to work with one of the best customer service experiences I had. They ended up sending a new replacement. Some features I found nice is the deep bath tub like floor which in theory would keep water out if it was higher than the ground also harder for rodents and insects to climb in. That and the separate rain fly is nice if it’s a clear night plus it helps keep moisture from running down the inside of the tent it runs down the fly instead. Tent packs up fairly small and weighs about 4 pounds or so would recommend for people under 6’ needing a solo tent.
I have 2 other pop up tents like this. This one is best in quality. Despite larger size, it’s more compact when folded and still very easy to assemble. I was able to put it up while wearing my baby in a harness. Everyone nearby immediately wanted to know where I got it! The interior is very cool and the window coverings are easy to use. I have another tent that doesn’t have a black lining and it gets VERY stuffy.
I'm a 67 year old woman that was able to put this together alone. Directions said it was a two person job. I just put one side up against my home and used it as leverage to bend the poles in place into the little loops. Worked fine. Works great for my bike and some garden tools I use frequently. I also put my power washer in there too. It's a great little tent. The rear of the tent has a little window that velcro's shut. Water leaks in there. Not alot. But that's the only reason it isn't water resistant. Overall, I'm glad I purchased it. I'm in Michigan. We'll see how it does in the Winter. I'd like to put my snow blower in there. We shall see...
I have an outside shower on my camper. I bought this with the sole intention of using it to shower. Apparently I did not read through everything enough and should have went to the reviews. This thing is labeled as a shower tent and it is far from. There is no opening in the back side to run your hose from your outside shower into this unit. There's no opening in the ceiling to run your shower hose through or anything of that type. Not worth the $100. The zippers are very cheap and poor you can see through them. Yeah it's quick and easy to set up. But it's going to be quick and easy to go to the garbage. I suggest not purchasing this product as I do not feel it is going to be sufficient as an outdoor shower. If you're looking for something to use as a changing room that's about all it's good for. But save yourself $100 and go buy a shower curtain in a couple PVC pipes.
This twin size kids cozy tent was $15 to $20 less than all the other tents of similar size and style. It is made of polyester/nylon just like the others, can be used indoors or out and comes with tie down stakes, for outdoor use. Goes up and down in minutes. Fit beautifully over a convertible ottoman (small twin size). Makes a bed into a cozy kid’s hideaway. Zipper-Door also has a screen door for locking out the pests while keeping air flow. Has rain cover and carry case. Very easy to put together and it has a hook sewed to inner ceiling to hang a light or small fan! 8 y.o. Is very happy with her “cozy tent”. Comes in pink or blue with dogs & cats, very cute and appropriate for girls or boys. Spacious enough for 2 kids to play in, two kids, or one parent with a young (small) child for sleeping. Set up time: 20 minutes with kids help, 5 minutes alone! Seems sturdy, as long as kids don’t mess with frame. We’re very happy with the purchase.
I’ve used this tent a few times since buying it a couple of months ago. It rained 24/7 the first time I set it up. No leaks, it held up great in the rain. It’s very easy to set up and take down. I can do it in the dark in 5 minutes. It’s light weight. It’s roomy inside. I love how it widens waist up. I can easily place items around me and not worry about rolling over on them. My sleeping pad is a Nemo and it fits perfectly with about a foot of headroom. I keep my shoes in the vestibule up against the door. They did not get wet in the rain storm. It’ll be perfect to hold my pack while backpacking. So why the 4 stars? The rainfly is not cut quite right. The picture shows the orange rainfly is not tight towards the front of the tent. Thankfully, it didn’t cause leaking during my 3-day rainstorm camp. I’ve messed with adjustment several times. There is too much material there. The green one is my cousin’s tent. Hers rainfly is tight in the same spot. It’s still a great tent for $100. I know it’ll serve me well for a few years.
I received my Gold Armor Rainfly today and so far I am please. It came with carrying bag and a stake bag as well, both bags have reflective string. The rainfly seems to be high quality and well stitched. There are 29 attached points for trying down the fly, which make it versatile. It came with 4 metal stakes and 6 reflective guylines. I haven’t gotten to use this product yet but I’m looking forward to it.
