There are no posts to put together or store separately, it is all one unit except for the rain cover. It is large and spacious for sure, when it was dewy in the morning we did not get wet touching the walls. Our dog used it to get out of the sun:) Reason it is not a 5: the sewing, as shows in the pics, is not good quality. It looks like someone accidentally sewed part of the fabric in where it wasn’t supposed to be and then had to seam rip it and start again. Many places throughout the structure has this sloppy sewing. There are no clear instructions or attachment area on the poles on where to attach the rain guard and guy lines. The included guy lines are just skinny ropes with no way to adjust. We ended up using some I purchased separately as well as more heavy duty stakes. Overall, worked well and stood up to the strong winds of a storm so worth the money so far.
This tarp was purchased to cover a wood pile. It did not last a year before it faded and delaminated. Previous, brown tart lasted 10 years, this needs replaced after 1 year. It’s not worth the money.
This is the most expensive tent I have ever purchased, but this is by far the best tent I’ve ever purchased. I have used multiple single person and two person tents for camping and hiking. This was bought to be my new backpacking tent. I liked the idea of having a 4 season tent that can be adapted to about any use ever. My wife and I have several nights in this tent so far. I’ve had it for about 4 months now. It has went on multiple trips. My wife and I are both around 5ft 6. We have PLENTY of room. We both have been able to put down our sleeping pads and sleep comfortably without having to be shoulder to shoulder or on top of each other. If we decide to bring our packs in, it gets pretty cramped. But packs out under the fly and it’s just fine. The set up is pretty easy. Not the easiest tent I’ve ever set up, but pretty close to it. Hardest part is getting the fly on and adjusted correctly. It can be done with one person, but if it’s windy or stormy and you try to put it up you will have issues. Breathability is really good. The fly has an opening to allow airflow. The sides of the tent itself have mesh windows all the way around, THAT HAVE ZIPPER COVERS! This is my favorite feature of the tent. You could use this tent in the summer without the fly and just zip up the windows. One thing I’ve hated about tents with mesh windows is the fact there is no way to cover them up unless you put the fly on. You have some privacy this way and can simply zip up the windows and not have to worry about peeping eyes while changing or something in a public campground. My wife it was absolutely thrilled with this feature. Every morning when we wake up there is condensation on the inside of the fly, but we have never had it inside the tent yet. (night temps have ranged from 38 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit) There are several pockets in the side including a loft. The loft was a perfect area for us to put the compression sacks, and a few other smaller things in. There are also phone sizes pockets on both sides. The tent itself is super light. You can take the tent rods out of the bag and compress it ever smaller. So far I’ve tried both ways and basically it’s just how do you want to pack your pack that will determine what is best for you. The whole package is super light. One of the lightest. It does worry me just how light the bottom is. So I splurged and got the footprint for it too. The footprint did make me feel much more comfortable, but I’m not sure this tent would be pet friendly. I love the stakes that come with it, but it needs more. You cannot stake all the sides of the tent and use the rain fly properly with the amount of stakes you get. This is my only complaint. Unfortunately I’ve not got the chance to use it in the rain or snow, but I have no doubt it will hold up just fine. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. If you got more stakes there would be no issues from me so far!
This tent was perfect for our cruise and saved us a lot of money on renting chairs and umbrellas. After reading reviews I got the 6 person and it was huge, 4 adults and 2 kids fit easily. One day there was a quick rain storm and we all hunkered down inside and stayed nice and dry. If you look closely you can see my 1 year old taking a nap. It was perfect for him to take a nap out of the sun. Size when in the bag - some folks talked about not being able to get the tent back in the bag, we didn’t have any trouble. You do need to fold it carefully and then roll it up tightly. The bag was reasonable for the size of the tent but did take up some real estate in our suitcase. Overall I think it was worth it.
They are not as pictured in the listing. They came with some rust on them already and I can tell they will rust more very quickly. They are clearly much lower quality than some I had order from a different company through whatcampingtent.com (see comparison in photos). These were $0.40/piece cheaper than the ones I had order previously though. They don't have the nice rust proof coating, didn't come with caps on the pointed ends like the other ones did, and have a smaller, tighter curve. Also the description says 59 pieces, which is what was sent, but in the size selections it says 60pcs. I received them the very next day with whatcampingtent.com 2-day Prime but I would not order from this company again.
I love this tent so far. I’ve used this on 1 solo trip as soon as I got it. This tent is easy to set up solo with an intuitive design. It kept me warm and dry. It packs down really small for being a 3-person tent. Highly recommend getting the footprint for this tent!!! It packs down small, and it kept the tent clean, dry, and the bottom protected.
This tent checks all the boxes. Well-made Four season, (woke up to 8°F the first morning of a winter camp trip. This tent performed much better than previous tents used during the winter.) Good head room Light, especially for size Easy set up and take down
I've used it twice now and no complaints!! It is a great $ value compared to others like it! Once it's rolled out and ready to be inflated, it takes about 1-2min to fully inflate using the pump provided. I've tried using a battery-powered inflator and it didn't seem to be working, or not fast enough for my liking. I'm a female and can do this by myself. The hardest part is rolling up and securing the curtains by myself. Ok so... WHAT THE DESCRIPTION DOESN'T TELL YOU: * This tent is about 12ft x 9ft x 6ft. I'm 5'2" and the only place I even come close to hitting my head on the ceiling is in the corners. Love the height! * I bought this tent specifically for the skylights bc I want to see the night sky. I compared it to other tents and this was the best price for the features I was wanting. * One side, I used as the front, has a door and 2 windows. All 3 also have mesh vents so you can completely close them or use the mesh screens for good air flow. The window mesh vents don't have zippers. * Right above the door is a vent that you prop open. (I'll come back to that). * One side, I used as the back, is one big door. Great selling feature! It has a zipper that divides the "wall" that you unzip and it be completely open. (Think of a 3-sided room). It also has a mesh screen so you can use that side for good airflow. You can kinda see it in my last picture, on the left side. * The back side also has a very small cover/porch with a guyline. * Both sides have windows that are exactly the same. You can completely close them down so no one can see in, open then up to mesh, or only use the PVC windows. This was also a HUGE selling point for me! Very versatile!! WHAT I DON'T LIKE: *All the windows and doors have to be rolled up from the outside!! So if you have the mesh open or the PVC windows, and it starts raining or you want privacy, you have to go outside to unhook the doors and secure it. I looked at other tents and it looks like most tents are made this way. I'm not sure why. If you know, please tell me! * It doesn't come with a rainfly or a footprint/floor tarp for protection. I know most tents don't come with a footprint but most do come with a rainfly. * My tent's ceiling windows had a film on them which made it hard to see clearly. If anyone knows how to remove the film, please let me know! * On the inside, the airtubes have a covering that sewn in to the tent, but has an accessible zipper. I'm not sure what it's for. If you know, please tell me. * The description says "all season" and water proof but in another place it says 3 season and not used for heavy rain - use a rainfly. This is confusing, Yoleny! I used it and it was raining just s little and did just fine - no leaks. * It didn't come with a hammer. ADDTL SELLING POINTS: * It comes with its own carrying bag, stakes, extra guylines, patch kit, and manual air pump that shows you if you've put the right amount/too much air. It also comes with curtains for the skylight if you want privacy or to block the sun. * It deflates in seconds! * It has a heavy duty built-in floor. You can see it's grey in my pictures. * It has 2 air valve ports on the right side corners, right of the door. One is on the front corner and one on the back corner. You access them from the outside through velcro ports. * To the left side, it has ports for a portable AC unit so you can use this tent in the summer! * In the roof, it has a place where you can cut to put in a stove so you can buy a camping stove and use the tent in the winter! You can see the port, the grey square, in my last picture. * This tent is 6ft high, it's not low to the ground. (In come back to that). * It has 2 pockets on one wall so you can store things like your cell phone or flashlights. Just don't roll up your tent and forget they're there!! FYI/SIDE NOTES: Back to the air vent: I went camping over Thanksgiving 2024. One night was really cold and I used a portable butane stove to cook inside and use a stove "radiator" to knock the chill out of the air. I soon noticed condensation building up in the tent. I immediately stopped using the stove but it was too cold to open any more vents. The next morning, the condensation had frozen and there was a thin film of ice on the walls and ceiling. I wiped it off using a towel so it didn't get my bedding and stuff wet. So the vent didn't vent as much as I'd thought it would. The next evening, this time I left the vent and door open and didn't have any issues. The outside temp was much warmer though. (Don't knock me for inexperience). Back to the height of the tent: The site was pretty bare of trees and shrubbery (the very first picture). I staked down all the places and used all the guylines. That night, the winds were about 17mph (very last video). I had to move stuff away from the walls bc it was knocking stuff over. (I had previously watched a YT video with a couple that has an inflatable tent and when the winds got so bad they couldn't stand outside, they packed up. Before they could finish, the wind was completely pushing the tent over). I stepped outside and some gusts pushed me off my footing. It was a little scary. I checked the weather and the wind was going to get up to 25mph, so I decided it was best to pack up. The video doesn't do it justice. The video starts out pitch black but you can hear the tent in the wind. Then my outside motion sensor light triggers and you can kinda see how much the tent was moving. So be mindful if it's going to be windy and there's no cover where you're camping. ALL IN ALL - A definite buy, most bang for the buck!! I'll update my review the more things come up. Definitely recommending!
We used the cabana first time on a hot and breezy day. It fit in the beach cart just like a regular umbrella. The set up was easy and quick. It provides enough shade for 2-3 people without using the side fabric. It didn’t move at all even when the wind picked up. Only complaint I have is that the Velcro was stitched poorly to the cabana itself. The rest of the stitching seems fine. After restitching all 4 Velcro parts I think the cabana will be a nice alternative to our old umbrella
Awesome product, great design! We are enjoying this bubble tent so much on these cool, breezy fall evenings. It was extremely easy to pop up and it's roomy enough my kids and myself could all sit or lay inside and stretch out. This is going to be perfect for spring soccer season for the kids to sit in and keep warm and dry. Folding it up takes some practice to master but great quality and I Highly recommend.
Quality of materials .Ease of assembly
I am happy with this tent for my child, it is very comfortable, lightweight, protects from the sun's rays and I am sure that in the hottest weather my child is protected.
I haven’t had the chance to get out in the woods with this tarp yet. I’ll update this review when I do. But for now, this is what you should know: • At 2.50 lbs. (exactly…measured with the cover/sack), this tarp is a little heavier than other/competitor tarps, though I think that this is due to quality/added features. Specifically: - The extra strapping (both on the reinforced stitched perimeter/stake loops, the ridgeline loops/grommets). Also note that many tarps (including hammock rain-flys) don’t have ridgeline loops/grommets, only perimeter grommets/loops. - The quality reflective back-coating. It’s slightly rubbery, so I’m assuming that is won’t flake off in the folds/creases, or over time in general, like lesser quality tarps. And in theory at least, it should be warmer on colder nights, especially with a fire in front of it (assuming reflective configuration)...or double as an emergency blanket in a pinch. • 70D rip-stop seems to provide good durability, and I’m not sure how it could be lighter without sacrificing quality/durability (Dyneema/cuben-fiber notwithstanding…if you can afford to pay tons for a tarp…and no reflective coating). Even with the heavier weight, this tarp is still lighter that most backpacking tents. And even so if you add a pound for a ground tarp/sleeping mat to put under it…which you’d likely also do to protect the tent floor of a lightweight (expensive) tent anyway. • The ridgeline strap with mounts/grommets is a nice feature, though somewhat expected for this tier of tarps. • I think that 10’ tarps are perfect for versatility and adequate space when used for shelter. • There are no stakes or guy lines included. For me, this is not a big issue, 550 cord and stakes are generally cheap, but noting it accordingly. Further, the stakes and lines typically provided with tarps are of a "basically adequate" quality anyway. The only improvement suggestion I have with this tarp is to add reinforcement patches/stitching under/around the perimeter and ridgeline loop/grommet points; though the corners do have a single stitched diagonal reinforcement/patch. To explain, I can see where the tarp is very strong against stresses in-line with the ridgeline strap, but stresses perpendicular to the strap (or perimeter loops) could reveal weak/tear points. Time will tell, and to be fair, this is on-par with most competitors. And, if I ever see any strains/stretching at these points, I'll probably just glue some nylon repair patches under the loop/grommet points for added strength…easy mod. Bottom Line: This is a quality bush-craft/backpacking tarp that should provide years of service.
This is a great screened tent with multiple uses. My cat loves it but I do need to monitor. I think if he wanted to he could get out under bottom. Surprisingly, he’s put his nails on screen and no damage. I wouldn’t all him yo continue but it’s not very cheap. The screen does keep some breeze out. I’ve had it up during windy days and gusts. It will blow away if you don’t have it staked down. It’s extremely easy to put up and put away. Kind of a no brainer but it will blast open if you don’t hold it down after taking it out of the case. Case is plenty big with room to spare. I ordered the sun shades and they work pretty good too! The door zipper with big handles work very well and has some give to prevent breakage. I was worried about that having bad experience with other products. Screen does keep bugs out. Definitely not water proof! I use a painting extension pole with a tennis ball on top to stop rain from puddling and pushing down. The only improvement I would make is to make the top waterproof and offer a darker grey so the bottom perimeter doesn’t stain. I would order again. Glad I bought it.
Definitely not 100% waterproof, but did the job. My major qualm is that I wish 3 sides were see through. In the event of rain and wind, it was impractical to leave the front open so I resorted to turning it sideways to make the entrance to my right. The seams aren't solid and let in a small amount of water but didn't flood. Worked in a pinch but not effective long term. Even with the instructions and multiple online video tutorials I still havent mastered putting it back in the circular bag. I bought this one in particular for the price point, but def going to splurge for the larger ones available that offer more of 360° experience for next sports season.
