Worked great for our get away trip to the beach. Its much smaller than expected and does not give a big shaded area from to top or even with the side/back wall cover attached. All in all it was super easy to set up and put away with the nice store bag it comes with. A solid 8.5 out of 10
I like the size of this gazebo tent; it's 10'ft by 10'ft - enough room for a table and chairs, or a ground cover for everyone to sit on. You can even sleep in it to camp if you wanted to. The description says it's 188"in by 188"in (15'x15'), but I think that measurement must include the areas under all the awnings when suspended. Without the awnings up, it's 10'ftx10'ft. I was a little bit worried when I got everything laid out, and realized there's no instructions; but, it's actually SUPER SIMPLE and went up (putting it up by myself) in less than 10 mins. I laid it out flat, snapped all the support poles up, and the roof came up on it's own. I walked inside the tent, stood on a chair and pushed up on the roof structure center to MAKE SURE I'd done it right and that it also was snapped into place. Easy peasy. The four side flaps can either be rolled up and secured for total visibility and screened in shelter; or they can be strapped down tightly with the little hooks and D hook to protect from sun, rain, or wind; OR all the flaps can be suspended out for more spacious shelter using the two poles included and tying off the other three with the guy lines attached to trees, poles, whatever is available. The kit only comes with two poles for this. Plenty of guy lines and stakes though. This is a really nice family fun gazebo tent....three seasons at LEAST. Well made and easy enough to pitch without instructions. Great product....I like it!
A 6ft tall man will not fit barely fit 2 adult s and seams leaked in the rain. Did Like it having 2 doors and how easy it is to use.not the greatest quality material. Very small maybe a 2 man .
Thoroughly impressed... large, easy to set up, great price! This is the six person ... i realized after i ordered i could have done the 8 person for 15 bucks more but we're just using it for a shade get away with our paddle boards and it's more than enough room... just buy it.... no buyer remorse... i'm super happy of this purchase!
This fit 3 people comfortably as well as all of our belongings. The instructions weren't very helpful so we looked at the picture and figured it that way. Only complaint was we couldn't figure how to secure the extra shade onto the poles so we had to improvise. Otherwise the wind would easily blow it away.
First Impressions of Frebuta Tarp Poles,Tent Poles Set of 2 2Ft to 6Ft Replacement Canopy Poles Heavy Duty Telescoping Tent Poles for Tarp Outdoor Camping Awning Poles Adjustable Sturdy Durable Shade Cloth Poles ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-stars ✅ Very strong and sturdy pole ✅ Screw-on sections plus telescoping Design ✅ Foam grips ✅ Ball head tip cover ✅ Includes nylon carrying bag ✅ Clamp holds well ✅ Non-magnetic ✅ Reasonable pricing ❌ Not totally telescoping ❌ Foam tends to have a short lifespan I ordered the 6-foot version. At first, I felt disappointed by the looks of the screw together sections. I thought to myself, “This isn’t telescoping!” However, once I assembled the pole as a whole, yes, this does slide longer and shorter. There are five sections – if a shorter pole is desired, then only three sections are used. If a longer pole is desired, then all the sections are used. Once assembled, the pole can be retracted roughly in half from the longest position. The skinny section slides into the thicker section. At the shortest, I was able to get the pole to 2 ft 8 in (32 inches) to the base of the tip or 2 ft 10 in to the top of the tip. At the longest, 6 ft 10 in, to the base of the tip or 7ft to the top of the tip. The pole diameter is wider than I had envisioned for better or worse – and as such is actually stronger than I thought as well. I would recommend putting a light coat of bicycle grease or some other light lubricant (petroleum jelly) to help the poles screw on smoother – it isn’t necessary but might be more pleasant to assemble. If over long term use, my feelings change about this product, I will update this review. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.
I don't have any projects for this until probably Spring. They are very heavy duty though and will work very well in the hard ground here in North Alabama. I'll probably have to use a breaker bar to finish the install here but the little lug wrench will provide a great starting point. Most likely I'll be using them to anchor my drive-thru carport I have yet to build. I consider these to be more for permanent anchoring but would work really well for staking and thing temporary too like a tent. Great product. Great value.
I rarely write reviews, but this is the best pop up canopy I have ever bought. Great product for the money. You would thing it was a much extensive canopy. The sand bags come with it, the easy of installation, to the overall strength of product. Definitely one person can put this up and take down with ease. The storage bag with wheels and its easy to fit inside and take out. I am just thrilled with this product. I bought two and may buy a 3rd.
This review is for the…. “ Outsunny All-in-One Folding Camping Cots for Adults, Elevated Tent with Sleeping Bag, Thick Air Mattress Pad, Portable Single Sleeping Cot Camping Bed” Worked perfectly for me!! I’m not much of a camping kind of person but had agreed to spend a week in the woods with my family. + This tent arrived quickly. + It was pretty easy to set up (I did get a little help from my sister though). All the pieces were included and came in a nicely packaged up travel bag - fit in my small car easily & no fuss storage after use. Air mattress, air pillow, and sleeping bag made packing a beeeze. - The air pump included for the mattress would have taken forever to use (I used an electric one instead) + I didn’t close the air valve all the way so the mattress deflated by the time I went to go to bed - so I just slept on the cot, which was actually very comfortable!! I ended up not using the air mattress for the whole trip. + there are plenty of straps and buckles to keep everything in place - I was impressed by that. + the two side/ceiling mesh zip windows were a nice touch. When they were closed, the tent stayed warm inside. With them open, I got a nice view of the stars and had fresh air flow + we had one full day of rain and everything stayed dry. Being elevated was extra nice for me - while some of my family had some wet leaks on their ground tents - My biggest (and only) complaint/feed back would be: I wish there was a mesh screen on the door flaps. I would have enjoyed being able to keep the doors open for extra fresh air and viewing while protecting from bugs I am very happy with this purchase! I would recommend it to others. Everyone I was with and even other campers made positive comments about it as well - even mentioning that they might get one for themselves. Wish I remembered to take more pictures of the tent all set up.
I decided to invest in a nice large camping tarp for a recent BWCA trip. Usually I had used a medium duty poly tarp from Menards, but decided to get something better to reduce weight and have more functional loops and tie-down spots. This tarp fit the bill. Not ultra lightweight, but definitely better than its poly-tarp equivalent. Setup was a breeze with the loops down the center seam. We had a storm with heavy rain come up on us rather suddenly, and I was able to deploy this tarp quite rapidly. 8 of us huddled under it for an hour or so, and it worked great. It dried quickly and was packed away again easily. The 10x15 size was perfect for our needs.
This is a decent tent with some really awful stakes. The stakes were completely trashed after my first use of this tent. It should come with stakes that work. The tent itself has windows that ope/close from the outside. It’s a feature I don’t like, but I’ve heard some say it helps with keeping water out of the tent. I’ve found it makes me have to go out in the rain to close the windows. Also, the logo is on the window… it’s just… odd. Not the place I would like it to be. It makes it so that I can’t look outside without seeing their logo and seriously reduces my enjoyment of camping in this tent. Everything else is good and everything does seem to be made well. It endured a windy day while using it well. I just can’t ignore the stakes, logo and inverted windows. These need to be fixed and then I’d be willing to recommend.
My tent just arrived (ordered on a Friday, received the following Monday) and although I have not officially "used" it (I bought this for a backcountry trip scheduled for the 1st of November at Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness Area) it seems to be of amazingly high quality. Right when I opened the box I was impressed with the closure hardware and the thoughtful design (compression straps built in) of the tent bag itself. Poles seem to be as good if not better than the ones I've owned on tents costing four times as much as this one. I am going to update this review after I've field-tested it, with more product details. At this point I'm giving it 5 stars as there is absolutely nothing negative that I could say. It did weigh in at 4.8 lbs, which is pretty much spot on. Size is bigger than I was expecting, and set up is a breeze. More to follow........... UPDATE: After testing this tent this past weekend out at #NordhouseDunes Wilderness Area, I have to say I'm even more impressed. One plastic buckle that attaches the rainfly to the main tent looked like it might not hold, but it did. My only other minor complaint is one of the velcro pieces on the rainfly wasn't completely sewn on, but I will repair that myself. Set up in the wind was a breeze (pun intended), although I did upgrade the stakes to screw-in sand stakes, which for dune/sand camping would be a necessity. The weather was what I was hoping for....overnight temps near freezing (33 degreess) and mixed precipitation (rain/snow/sleet) from roughly 8pm - 4am. Winds during this entire trip averaged a constant 15 mph, with overnight gusts in the 35-40 mph range. The tent kept me warm and dry the entire time. There were moments when I wondered if I was about to go airborne, but this tent held steady. Taking it down was even easier that setting it up - I stuffed it rather than folding/rolling as we were in a hurry to get to a hot breakfast in town, but again, this little tent performed flawlessly. With the minor exceptions noted, I would recommend this tent for anyone looking for a 3 season, super-affordable alternative to the big brand name tents. I will need to take it out a few more times to determine its true durability, but I'm confident I'll get at least another 2-3 year's use out of it. I did NOT get compensated for this review!
Installed an setup first time had small hole in the top. Got a replacement everything good to go now.
This arrived today and oh I love this thing! I opened the round carry pouch and took it out and once you start to open it POOF its insta-tent! Material is very attractive and whole thing has a very nice presentation. I fumbled through trying to put it back folded up for a bit, the rods were very forgiving of my blunders. I finally came here and watched the video and that did it for me. There is a tag attached that has the instructions on it with pictures but that didn't really work for me. Size wise, its fantastic....I'm 6'6 and it feels room laying down inside. I know the item page says for camping but this thing is tailor made for people in the south and other humid environments. 4th of July firework shows, outside concerts, an outside lecture at a university...its so light and opens so POOF you could use it for all kinds of things.
For years, we've visited the Outer Banks in NC and lugged along an E-Z Up tent for shade. Those tents are great but they're quite heavy and the wind/sand combination does a lot of damage to them and you'll only get a trip or two out of it. Bought the Shibumi for this year's trip but also brought the E-Z Up as I didn't have faith it would work effectively. The Shibumi is super lightweight and turned out to be very easy to put up and put away. It stays aloft by wind power so it's fairly loud (think a kite rippling above your head all day) but it worked like a charm with the constant breeze you get on a barrier island. So much easier than dealing with the E-Z Up! You need a constant wind and have to orient it in the direction the wind is coming from, so there may be other use cases where it won't work.... but in terms of hitting the Outer Banks, this thing is awesome and well worth the case. The E-Z Up stayed in the car the whole week and will stay home for future trips. I was so excited about how well it worked that I declared it the greatest invention of all time! Saw lots of them on the beach in Ocracoke so I think word is getting around!
