QUICK SUMMARY: I love the idea of using a lightweight cabana to use at the beach. This item, though, I merely like, not love, because there are too many little issues I have with it. Still, I'm glad to use it as an alternative to a beach umbrella. BACKGROUND: I live two miles from the Atlantic Ocean, and my family and I like going to the beach throughout the year. When we go midday, it's imperative to have a beach umbrella or other sunshade to avoid getting sunburned. I've never had a cabana like this before, but I've wanted one for a long time. When I selected this item, I was eager to try it out with some of my family members. We went to the beach today, so what follows is my assessment after using beach umbrellas for many, many years. WHAT I LIKE: - This is fairly lightweight at about 9lbs. It's decidedly heavier than a beach umbrella, but it offers more shade than a beach umbrella, so that's the trade-off. - It was easy to assemble at the beach. Here's my process: I dig a hole in the sand, firstly, then put the lower half pole section into the sand and fill-in the hole with sand. That's much, much easier than trying to twist the pole into the sand with the accompanying aluminum pin. Then, I expand the canopy (which was easy to do, it works like an umbrella with four, flexible fiberglass poles extending from the main pole section to the corners of the canopy) and insert this section into the lower half pole section I've securely inserted into the sand. After that, we fill-in the sewn-in sandbags with sand to secure everything. The last step is adding the optional side wall, which we needed to do since the sun was a few hours from setting so the sunlight wasn't coming directly overhead, but from the side. - The included sidewall section is what really makes a cabana great. By having the overhead canopy and the sidewall, there's a huge amount of shade cast onto the sand when using this item later in the afternoon. We had a lot more shade to sit under than when we simply use a single, large, beach umbrella. - It was easy to disassemble, too. First, detach the side wall and then empty the pockets of sand along the bottom edge of the side wall which kept the side wall taut. Then, remove the canopy and fold it up (after removing the sand inside the four sewn-in sandbags). Lastly, pull out the section of the main pole that's stuck down in the sand. Put it all in the storage bag and you're done! WHAT COULD BE BETTER: - Overall, I found the quality of the construction to be somewhat lacking. Firstly, my beach canopy came with several black spots on one side of the roof section. - The storage bag's carrying strap is not nearly strong enough for rugged, outdoor use. It's much too thin. This strap should have been double the width and have a lot more sewing done to strongly affix the strap to the storage bag. This is a nine pound cabana! As-is, it won't surprise me one bit if the strap breaks off the storage bag while I'm carrying it to the beach one day. It's just too flimsy to carrying 9lbs of cabana for many trips to the beach. - The aluminum pin that you insert into the lower section of the main pole (so you can twist the pole into the sand) is affixed to the pole with a chain, but the chain came loose on our first usage of this cabana, so now the pin isn't attached to the main pole section any longer. For me, that's not much of a problem since I hand-dig a hole instead of trying to twist the pole into the sand to secure the main pole. - See the attached picture. Notice the canopy edge on the front of the cabana; it's off-center. This is the kind of quality you can expect should you elect to purchase this item. It's not a 5-star constructed item. I, like the other reviewers, really like having and using this cabana at the beach. But it's not a 5-star item. Expect minor imperfections like the one's I've described if you choose to buy this cabana. CONCLUSION: In spite of the imperfections, I'm really glad to have a portable cabana to use at the beach. It won't replace using a beach umbrella, which is much lighter and quicker to use. But for instances when you're with a group of other people and you want more shade than what a single umbrella can offer, this is a great choice.

I LOVE how wide and roomy it is on the inside. this is going to be perfect when camp showering during festivals and changing on the beach! I'm 5'7 and still have a lot of room above my head (see in last pic). it came in great condition with everything listed it would. it was also super easy to set up and take down by myself, it's light weight, easy to carry, and I love the sheek green color! the material seems durable and thick, so transparency doesn't seem like it's going to be a problem. personally loving the fact it's open on the bottom and on the top there are unzippable crescent windows on opposite sides that you can feed a shower head or hose into! a definite need!

This beach windscreen does the trick on a windy day at the beach! We set it up with winds blowing 16 mph and were shielded from the blowing sand and chilly wind. Would definitely recommend!

I love camping but I really hate winter temperatures and despite the arey of tents I currently own, not one is of much use when it gets chilly, let alone cold outside. Now I have actually camped in my 3 season tents in December and January (in multiple states) a few times and I can definitely say the OneTigris Northgaze 2~4 Person Hot Tent will make winter camping in a tent a true luxury compared to my 3 season tents. In short I really like this tent, plus I'm excited about the future adventures I plan to be comfortable for. The very first thing I noticed about this tent was obviously it's carry bag, but more precisely that even the bag itself had a name brand YKK zipper on it (this is where most tent manufacturers cheap out). I also noticed that everything was much higher quality than I expected. For example the center pole has a stretch cord, the stakes are not simple easily bent garbage, all heavy use points are reinforced, and even the attachment points on the tent are adjustable. This surprised me as more pricey tents I've purchased definitely did not have such nice hardware or forsite included. The tent all packed up nice weighs in at 5.3 lbs, considering how big this gets I am definitely impressed. This tent is super fast and easy to set-up and takedown (a huge plus on a cold winter day), I also found it to be super easy to pack into its carrying bag. The inside felt warm and comfortable even without a heat source other than my own body heat, obviously as temperatures drop a heat source will be required. Fortunately this tent has you covered there as there is a port for a chimney and wood stove, this has a silicone material that is heat resistant for the actual port. Obviously you may not require that all the time so there's also a regular material patch that zips up on both sides and hook & loop fastens at the top under an overlapping part to truly seal it up nicely. There are two screened vents that can be fully open or half open, obviously you will definitely require some ventilation to let the humidity from your breath out. These seem to do a pretty good job of venting without allowing much heat to escape, as well as keeping snow from getting in. The tent material is Silicone-coated 40D nylon fabric, this is pretty similar to other tent rain fly material definitely keeping rain or snow out. The bottom of the tent is open (there is no floor) as is standard for these types of winter tents. There is an extended patch of material that goes out around the tent (except the door), this is to be outside of the tent and gets covered by leaves or snow to seal the bottom from drafts. I recommend a silver lined tarp for use as a rug in winter to really keep the heat in and the cold out. There is also a tie point at the top of the tent, this is very helpful as you can use it to reinforce the setup utilizing the pole, you can use the tie point instead of the pole, and it is super useful for drying the tent in smaller spaces. The guy lines and tie points, I absolutely appreciate and love the reflective properties of the tie points and the guyline rope itself. I saw it on the tie points very lightly during the daytime, but when I turned on my flashlight and pointed it at this tent the first time I was very surprised. It lights up very nicely looking like the tent has lights on it, aside from this looking super cool it saves you from tripping over the lines repeatedly especially at night. Moreover this helps you to very easily find your tent without being too obvious. The color is a nice rather neutral coyote brown that will mesh well in all conditions. I've definitely owned plenty of very bright colored tents, and to be frank I personally much prefer the more muted neutral colored tents that don't scream look I'm a bright tent. This tent definitely helps you keep your eyes on nature more by not doing that. The porch option, I can definitely see where on warmer days or with the optional (not included) summer screen tent insert would be wonderful. I however couldn't utilize this feature in my testing as the tent only comes with 1 single center pole, the porch option requires two more poles with points at the ends (the points fit the pre installed grommets). The set of 2 additional poles can certainly be purchased from their sales page and are surprisingly fair priced. Just be sure to double check that you are purchasing the correct set of 2 poles vs the single replacement options available. I figured it likely didn't come with them but was still a little disappointed that they showed multiple pictures that way in the product pictures but didn't include them. So to be clear you get the tent itself, 8 guylines, 18 tent stakes, one center pole, carry bags for the pole and stakes, and a complete carrying bag for all of it. That all being said, personally I really like this tent, I have been camping since being put in a baby backpack and brought into the woods as a baby. This tent will make a huge difference for winter trips into the wilderness, but I would definitely consider purchasing the summer screen insert as well. Not one of my current tents prior to this one could I stand up in, I am 6'2" and granted I have to stand fairly close to the pole, I can stand completely without issue in this tent. So I feel pretty confident that you will really like this tent as well and I really appreciate you taking the time to read all of that. Moreover I hope this helps you in making a solid informed decision I sincerely hope that you are currently having and continue to have a wonderful day and get a chance to go enjoy some nature. -GhosT

This is the year 2022 and this was the best design they could come up with? This thing is such a pain to put up, I gave up a few times and then was determined with anger that I would not be outsmarted by a tent. I got it up but I have no intentions of taking it down or putting it back up, the kids can destroy it for all I care. I thought this would be nice for in the back yard to protect from sun and bugs or maybe even to take with us to a park or big open area to relax and enjoy lunch. It's just way too time consuming and frustrating. It looked simple, it's just two collapsible curved poles that you put together and slide into the two sleeves to form an X, then slip the four bottoms of the poles into the sleeves and attach a few clips going up the tent. The poles kept coming apart where they slide into each other while I was trying to slip them into the sleeves making this like stringing a drawstring back into pants but on a much bigger, more annoying scale. I don't think that having two people would've helped, it's one of those things that would be too hard to coordinate and communicate what's going on. Once I got the darned thing up, a slight breeze came and knocked it right over before I could stake it down. I pushed it back up, staked it down, and realized how cheap it is. The material could rip so easily, I'm sure I'll rip it breaking it down or putting it back up. It's too thin to even really offer much sun protection. The whole front and back unzips down to about a foot and a half off the ground so you're left with a big pile of mesh that someone could trip over. I really expected a smarter design and better quality from Coleman, especially at this price.

This is a great tent. I got the 4 person tent for just myself and I had plenty of space for a week camping trip. You could fit 2 people in the 4 person very comfortably. I wouldn't put 4 people in it unless you're planning on laying side by side like sardines. I got it for a week long camping trip and it was awesome, it even rained all day one of those days and my tent stayed dry. The teal was also very pretty with some solar lights around it. Great buy for the money.

Glad to have this bivy. The brand caught my eye first and it gets good reviews on all the top ten lists I've seen including YouTube videos. It's very thin tent like material. Not designed so much for warmth but I'm using it in conjunction with my 800 fill power down mummy bag so no worries there. My only complaint is the zipper quality could be better but if used cautiously they should hold up just like a tent. Pros are that it's very spacious and ultralight. I got the long version as I'm 6'3 and 205 lbs. It fits my 88" mummy bag, an inflatable pillow, and my ultralight sleeping pad fits too. I've added links below to the bag, pillow, and pad I'm using. It stuffs down to about the size of a 1 liter water bottle. I purchased my product in March and was waiting for the good weather to use it. Today I finally opened the package in the hopes of using the tarp in the park. However, it had dirt stains all over. It seems that somebody used the product before, repackaged and resold it. A very unfortunate surprise.

We put up a pretty elaborate Christmas display which includes about 15 inflatables--some as tall as 12 feet. Needless to say, the stakes that come with most of these inflatables aren't very good. So I ordered these to beef things up a bit. These are really nice quality and stay anchored very well. You can use the enclosed hand wrench or use an impact driver with a 15mm socket to drive them into the ground. These have a ring attached to the top to secure your rope or cable. You get six in this pack, along with the hand wrench and a nice quality bag to store them in.

  • This is a nice economy stove Jack! It worked out well for my project.

I got this to be able to watch my son play lacrosse during the winter. At one practice it rained and water got in the pod through the zipper. Also, it’s advertised that it will fit 4 people with chairs, as it even shows in the picture. We are barely able to fit 3 with chairs on top of each other and unable to zip up one part due to the 3rd chair. It is easy to put up and put away.

  • This tent is average. I camped alongside a river with it and because there are no vents after putting on the rainfly, I got some extreme condensation in the mornings. It was literally like the inside of my tent was sweating. Hopefully the amount of water buildup in the picture I posted of the inside back wall can be observed. It was everywhere along the walls of the rainfly and clung onto the mesh wall, making the inside wet. I know with camping alongside a river that it is hard to avoid condensation problems, but it has major issues if you plan to camp alongside any watershed with it. This is also a true 1 person tent with not much wiggle room. I'm under 5 feet, 103 pounds, and even I felt like this tent was too narrow to move around in. I was able store my 50L pack at the foot, but for taller folks, I don't think that will be possible if you want to keep your pack inside. Also, anyone who likes to spread out when they sleep or if they may be a little claustrophobic will not like it. I was also juuuuust able to sit up inside with my head touching the top. The thing I liked about it was how easy it was to set up. It took me about 5 minutes. Breakdown was also a breeze and was even quicker. I also loved that it was lightweight enough to ruck a short distance with it. In my case, about a mile--although I must say this is definitely NOT a backpacking tent for those seeking an ultralight setup. I took the initiative to weigh it out and it came out to over 4 lbs. For a one person tent, that is waaaay too heavy and there are other lighter options out there for that. Overall, for what I expected to use it for, it doesn't meet my expectations. I bought it to camp alongside lakes, rivers, and streams, and just the thought of the amount of condensation in the mornings is enough to have me return this.

I've used it twice now and no complaints!! It is a great $ value compared to others like it! Once it's rolled out and ready to be inflated, it takes about 1-2min to fully inflate using the pump provided. I've tried using a battery-powered inflator and it didn't seem to be working, or not fast enough for my liking. I'm a female and can do this by myself. The hardest part is rolling up and securing the curtains by myself. Ok so... WHAT THE DESCRIPTION DOESN'T TELL YOU: * This tent is about 12ft x 9ft x 6ft. I'm 5'2" and the only place I even come close to hitting my head on the ceiling is in the corners. Love the height! * I bought this tent specifically for the skylights bc I want to see the night sky. I compared it to other tents and this was the best price for the features I was wanting. * One side, I used as the front, has a door and 2 windows. All 3 also have mesh vents so you can completely close them or use the mesh screens for good air flow. The window mesh vents don't have zippers. * Right above the door is a vent that you prop open. (I'll come back to that). * One side, I used as the back, is one big door. Great selling feature! It has a zipper that divides the "wall" that you unzip and it be completely open. (Think of a 3-sided room). It also has a mesh screen so you can use that side for good airflow. You can kinda see it in my last picture, on the left side. * The back side also has a very small cover/porch with a guyline. * Both sides have windows that are exactly the same. You can completely close them down so no one can see in, open then up to mesh, or only use the PVC windows. This was also a HUGE selling point for me! Very versatile!! WHAT I DON'T LIKE: *All the windows and doors have to be rolled up from the outside!! So if you have the mesh open or the PVC windows, and it starts raining or you want privacy, you have to go outside to unhook the doors and secure it. I looked at other tents and it looks like most tents are made this way. I'm not sure why. If you know, please tell me! * It doesn't come with a rainfly or a footprint/floor tarp for protection. I know most tents don't come with a footprint but most do come with a rainfly. * My tent's ceiling windows had a film on them which made it hard to see clearly. If anyone knows how to remove the film, please let me know! * On the inside, the airtubes have a covering that sewn in to the tent, but has an accessible zipper. I'm not sure what it's for. If you know, please tell me. * The description says "all season" and water proof but in another place it says 3 season and not used for heavy rain - use a rainfly. This is confusing, Yoleny! I used it and it was raining just s little and did just fine - no leaks. * It didn't come with a hammer. ADDTL SELLING POINTS: * It comes with its own carrying bag, stakes, extra guylines, patch kit, and manual air pump that shows you if you've put the right amount/too much air. It also comes with curtains for the skylight if you want privacy or to block the sun. * It deflates in seconds! * It has a heavy duty built-in floor. You can see it's grey in my pictures. * It has 2 air valve ports on the right side corners, right of the door. One is on the front corner and one on the back corner. You access them from the outside through velcro ports. * To the left side, it has ports for a portable AC unit so you can use this tent in the summer! * In the roof, it has a place where you can cut to put in a stove so you can buy a camping stove and use the tent in the winter! You can see the port, the grey square, in my last picture. * This tent is 6ft high, it's not low to the ground. (In come back to that). * It has 2 pockets on one wall so you can store things like your cell phone or flashlights. Just don't roll up your tent and forget they're there!! FYI/SIDE NOTES: Back to the air vent: I went camping over Thanksgiving 2024. One night was really cold and I used a portable butane stove to cook inside and use a stove "radiator" to knock the chill out of the air. I soon noticed condensation building up in the tent. I immediately stopped using the stove but it was too cold to open any more vents. The next morning, the condensation had frozen and there was a thin film of ice on the walls and ceiling. I wiped it off using a towel so it didn't get my bedding and stuff wet. So the vent didn't vent as much as I'd thought it would. The next evening, this time I left the vent and door open and didn't have any issues. The outside temp was much warmer though. (Don't knock me for inexperience). Back to the height of the tent: The site was pretty bare of trees and shrubbery (the very first picture). I staked down all the places and used all the guylines. That night, the winds were about 17mph (very last video). I had to move stuff away from the walls bc it was knocking stuff over. (I had previously watched a YT video with a couple that has an inflatable tent and when the winds got so bad they couldn't stand outside, they packed up. Before they could finish, the wind was completely pushing the tent over). I stepped outside and some gusts pushed me off my footing. It was a little scary. I checked the weather and the wind was going to get up to 25mph, so I decided it was best to pack up. The video doesn't do it justice. The video starts out pitch black but you can hear the tent in the wind. Then my outside motion sensor light triggers and you can kinda see how much the tent was moving. So be mindful if it's going to be windy and there's no cover where you're camping. ALL IN ALL - A definite buy, most bang for the buck!! I'll update my review the more things come up. Definitely recommending!

All I have to say is Wow! I can't believe the quality of this tent for the price. The build quality is on-par with the similar REI 2-person tents. This tent is large enough for a rectangular 20-degree standard size sleep bag and a 75-litre back pack. It opens on 2 sides with vestibules on each side. The rain fly has 2 pop-up vents to allow moisture to escape. By opening 1 vent, you can keep the moisture out and the warmth in...and this tent is warm. With the rain fly going almost to the ground, strong winds are no problem. The tent did well in a light drizzle, but full disclosure, after that I sprayed the shell with 3M waterproof sealant...which I do with all of my tents every 2 years. After that I had it out in a rain storm with absolutely no problem. If I can complain about anything, it would be that it doesn't have a foot-print. I'd pay extra for this tent if it came with a custom foot print. Also, as a suggested modification; add grommets to the rain fly straps so you can connect them to the poles as a 1st step while building in the rain. That way you can easily assemble the "tent" portion under the rainfly and keep it dry. The tent is easy to assemble and take down, is light and fits inside my backpack just fine.

This tent performed well and met expectations. It kept me warm when the stove was burning and dry during a windy thunderstorm. Alot more waterproof than i anticipated. The inner tent was a great addition. Setup and takedown were easy, and while I upgraded the pegs, the included ones are sufficient for calmer conditions. I've used it several times without any tearing or issues. The zippers work fine but could fail under excessive stress. It's smaller than expected—you can only stand in the very center—but it fits camping chairs, a stove, the inner tent, equipment, and a dog kennel snugly yet manageably. Overall, it's a great choice for camping.
