  • So easy to set up and take down, even when I am at the beach by myself. Smaller than Cool Cabanas, but I feel it is made better, so I bought two for when friends and family visit. I previously had a Cool Cabanas and had tomatoes it as it easily broke. Love this one!

$350 tent sent complete with burn holes, leaves, trash, batteries already in the light controller, and PLENTY OF DIRT. What a great birthday gift for someone to receive! If this was a returned item that was resold, the associate inspecting it should have done a better job and marked it unsalable.

This tent is SUPER easy to set up and take down and definitely worth the cost. BUT, you do need to lock the tent into place. If you don't, it will collapse on you with the slightest breeze or wrong movement. It's just a matter of pushing down on the top round piece until it clicks in place. I would have given this 5 stars but it lost a star due to not including simple instructions that would have likely saved many of the one-star reviewers from tent collapse. I had to mess with it for a few minutes before I figured out how to lock and unlock it, and how to fold it up so it fits in the bag. This would have been easy to resolve with a few simple instructions. I would also consider this a single person or a two-person tent. It's large enough three people can sleep in it but that's it. There wouldn't be an additional room for other stuff. In the photo, it's the small blue tent to the right. Chairs another tent included for size comparison. A banana for scale would have been too small. 😉

This tint did perfectly for our beach vacation. No instructions but I watched a video on how to install. Very simple and easy install.

Not only worked for the Halloween decorations but Christmas as well.

I have a slightly older version of this but it is the same design. I use this as a toilet/shower tent while base camping on Padre Island. It easily handles winds up to 40 mph without guy lines. The salt air is corroding the steel tension cables in the poles but they are still working after 18 days of use over the last year and a half. Highly recommend.

Bad news that we had two massive thunderstorms on our camping trip last weekend. Good news this tent was battered and hit with a tree branch and it stayed upright and dry. I was worried as it undulated with the strong winds, but it was very sturdy. In the photo mine is the bright blue on the left. My nephew’s gray tent on the far right had the stakes ripped out of the ground and it collapsed. I highly recommend this tent. Plus the hinged Velcro door was a game changer! It was fairly easy to set up as well.

I almost didn't buy these poles as they didn't have many reviews on them and I'm so glad I did. They look and feel premium. The twist locks work well to lock in and my tarp stayed up add day and night with a little bit of wind. I'm confident they will hold up over time. Pros: Super light. If you're trying to cut weight in your carry bag. This is the ticket. Strong hold. The twist locks are super strong. I don't see these poles coming down unless you forget to tighten the collars after you set up your tarp. Cons: The carry bags do not have any loops on them to use to hang the bags from the poles so you don't loose them. Value: I think for the price you can't go wrong. These are going to stay in my kit and I might grab two more.

I’m found this tent really comfortable for my first time camping ever. I had enough room for a queen size mattress and still had room at the opposite side for a bin with all my stuff in it. I even had a cooler on one side of the mattress as well where I would lay all my tech on top of to charge. I was also one person, but definitely enough room for a couple

I ordered this for a camping trip this weekend no time to buy a better one now. Obviously the appearance is bad . Obviously this was wet at some point to create the rust. This thing is brand new but it looks like it’s been used for 5 years.

We really like this the first time we used it. My husband can’t stay in the sun long and he was very comfortable sitting under this canopy for hrs. The only complain I have is that it says it come with eight yellow stakes and we only had 4 so I will have to purchase more.

My new favorite tent. Bought it to just get me by and it’s better in every way then my $150 tent. Very easy to set up and take down. No issues getting it to pack down inside the bag it came with. Huge doors I can set up my cot outside and place it inside with no struggle or stretching the tent in anyway. I am 6ft1in. Tent is perfect. Love that the rain fly is attached to the tent. Set up time is half the time.

We got this for a family of four (two kids/two adults), and it feels neither too big nor too small. We've set it up twice, and had it up for about a three weeks combined since purchase. Paid retail price from an whatcampingtent.com seller & wasn't asked to review. I'd describe it as a solid three season tent, it does a good enough job (w/included rain fly) of keeping the wind/rain out, but on hot days you really can open up everything and have nice air flow (bug free!). It likely could cope in some legit winter weather, but cold air can sneak between rain fly and roof depending on wind (though not rain). The amenities are great: inc. divider, several pockets, two power port zipper cutouts, door awning, lantern hook/roof basket, floor hooks for a covering, and an actually usable bag. The thing I like most though is how flexible all the windows/doors are. There's like four different configurations for the window (e.g. half open/2x diagonal open/full open) and you get the bug screen regardless. Also while in any configuration you can adjust the straps to either have it tight against the tent wall or loose for improved airflow (without loss of privacy/light leakage). The floor is all up-turned and has been waterproof (even when we got water trapped under the tent, opps!). In general the tent feels really tight, like between iterations and or thought, they've just got a tent that is really well-designed with thoughtful details throughout that you don't really appreciate until much later. It is just thousands of "little details." Like the Velcro on the doors in addition to two zippers, or the divider's toggles to use it multiple different ways, it is small but you'd miss it if it were missing. I'd buy it again. I'd also recommend it. Unfortunately I don't have enough negative/critical to add to make this review more helpful, sometimes products are just solid. PS - I ordered a tarp for under that was exactly 13 ft by 10 ft. Too big. While the footprint likely is around 13x10ft, due to the shape the tarp sticks out slightly on both ends and water can get under. If you're in the market for a tarp for this, I'd look for around 12 ft by 9 ft.

Picked the tent up at $220 a couple weeks back. I left it out for a couple days to see how it'd handle the rain. We got pretty substantial rains and 25mph+ winds I didn't know there was wind in the forecast originally, I used the crappy stakes it came with and made no effort to stake it out thoroughly or hunker it down. Other than the vestibule stakes (which were probably not deep in the ground, it's a rocky lawn) flying out and making the vestibule part ripple, the tent held up perfectly to the sustained winds. Not a drop of water made it within the main cabin of the tent, maybe a cup or 2 worth in the vestibule which likely was from the pooling/rippling from the stake coming out with the wind. Had it been staked down I think it would have stayed bone dry Some Notes: -6 foot peak height, so no crawling needed and most people can stand fairly comfortably. You do need to crouch a little to get in. -Vestibule is really nice, 2 people (6 foot and under) can comfortably sit in chairs, it's bigger than it looks in the pic. I think it's 8x4ft. Great for a rainy/buggy day chill spot, storing extra stuff, or just as an easily cleanable mudroom -Setup is simple with 2 people, haven't tried solo yet but should be no problem -Its pretty big, 10x12.5. we actually had to buy another, smaller tent when we realized we can't fit it comfortably at some of the locations we have planned. -Dark room is very nice and will help a lot with keeping me from waking up with the sun, which will be nice with a couple campout music festivals this summer. I'm pretty unimpressed with it though, the tub floor is not dark room tech and doesn't block out any light, and it's a really high tub floor so a bunch of light makes it in. If they had blacked out the floor it'd be amazing, hopefully sleeping raised up on cots will mitigate the light more though -Poles feel like they'll explode if you look at them the wrong way. Seeing them hold up against the wind makes me feel a little better, but I can't believe how utterly light and flimsy they feel -The vestibule can't be zipped fully shut, there are 2 zippers that run along the bottom and one vertical zipper in the middle, all 3 zippers meet in the middle and leave a gap. Sure it'll keep most things out, but when you camp in areas where your tent is essentially covered in bugs some will get in, we had a centipede crawl in. I'm thinking of using a permethrin soaked sock or piece of fabric to plug the hole, kind of a hassle to do it each time but worth it. The main cabin can be completely zipped off though, so at least you won't have any night time visitors if you keep it sealed all the time Overall, assuming it holds up for a bit I'm happy with my purchase of it for $220. Unless I REALLY end up liking the dark room feature I don't think the current price of $324 is worth it though, there are far better quality tents for cheaper right now (such as the Marmot Limelight 6p). The vestibule's really nice but in reality a basic ez-up/canopy will serve most of the same purposes and be far less cramped, but it is just a nice extra comfort Giving it a 4 instead of 5 stars because not blacking out the tub part of the walls boggles my mind, leaving a hole where the vestibule zippers meet is a real issue in tick/bug country, poles are flimsy and there's essentially no ventilation options with it. Will update in the future

I really liked this little shade shelter. I bought it because of a friend’s recommendation. She has the pop up version that is on the right of this picture. The one I got has tent poles and stakes and seems a bit more sturdy, but takes about 5 minutes to to set up. It comes in an easy to carry bag with tent poles and stakes. I like the entry flap that rolls out so you can sit with protection from the sun and stretch out, the flap also zips up if needed so you can change/have privacy! It was great! There are mesh windows with zip panel covers for circulation/privacy on the sides of the tent and a pocket to hold things. We easily could fit a small camp chair or two in the shade tent. It was great at the lake when the sun was beating down we could easily escape to the shade! Easy to set up and take down and great for the price.
