After the first set up is figured out, it's really easy to put together! I use my tents for working at renaissance fairs and this week we got hammered by some rough heat followed by one heck of a thunderstorm! The tent held up great! There was one tiny leak in a corner, but considering how much rain we got all night, I'm still impressed. It was very spacious and comfortable, held up great to some rough winds and was pretty simple to figure out how to assemble solo after the first set up a week prior. Though I camp alone and needed the space to store merchandise and whatnot, there was plenty of room if you wanted to have 2 queen size blow up mattresses in there. Maybe even a twin between them. But I like my space for my writing desk and storage lol ::CONS:: -The door didn't exactly stick shut on the velcro like it was supposed to, but it didn't bug me too much. -The strings on the zippers got sorta confusing (there's several in one spot for the door, a second door zipper, and 2 for the door window) so I attached a Keychain to one of the door zipper strings so I'm not grabbing the wrong one constantly. -I really wish there were more windows. Unless you know which direction the wind will be coming so you can aim the windows towards it for a cross breeze, you really don't get much fresh air in there with the top on it. Granted there's a window on the door, but I wish there was a window across from the door. Even a small one would've been nice lol - The door mat was kind of designed.... weird. Though it was helpful to wipe your feet when coming in the tent, the stakes you attach are on the long-end sides instead of the corners, so it would sometimes fold over when you use it. I plan to alter mine so the stakes are thru the corners. ::PROS:: - I'm 5'7" and had Plenty Of head room in the center of the tent, which is a huge plus when you need to get dressed - The floor seemed pretty thick. There were a lot of acorns on the ground and it was still pretty tolerable. - Speaking of acorns, it was like acorn Armageddon when the wind picked up. I swear the squirrels were chucking them at us at full force at night! They'd hit the top of the tent with such force that they'd bounce off and fly several feet. It didn't seem to cause any sort of damage or bother to the tent though, even during high winds. Can't say the same for my car hood though.... - The tent overhang over the door is super helpful during storms. It was really nice that I could angle the side flaps so I wasn't getting hit with rain the second I stepped out the door and could take shelter there and stay mostly dry. - Plenty of anchor points! If you anchor them all down, it's VERY sturdy during high winds and rain. Definitely was a help to be able to anchor at all areas where some tents don't seem to have enough for stability in winds. -Easy fold up! It looks like it would be pretty complicated but after you fold it in half, it folds up really easy. The top fly is a little harder though lol and I recommend you fold it inside the fold of the tent or it doesn't fit in the bag. All in all, I loved the tent and would definitely buy again. I do plan to spray it with water resistant tent solution to make it more durable, though honestly it seemed fine without it. But better safe than.. well, wet lol

Well, first off I did know the dimensions. However until I actually got inside did I realize that I’m claustrophobic. Granted I’m 6’1 and 190lbs. On the plus side this tent is very easy to set up and in a pinch would keep you dry. I used it at about 26 degrees with very little condensation on the inside in the morning. For the price I don’t think you can go wrong.

Love that this tent is small and light weight so it’ll fit in a back pack with ease, the camo isn’t actual camo depending on where you are camping I’d assume it’ll be a little different. I’m 5’9 200 lbs and i easily fit inside, with lots of room to spare. Would definitely recommend this product.

There are so many great things I can say about this tent. I wanted to wait to write my review on this tent until I had enough times to use it to really get an accurate feel for it. First of all it is so convenient. It literally is an instant tent. It is so easy to put up and take down. It takes me more time to set up things inside the tent than it does to put it up. The polls are already attached to the tent and stay there permanently. So all you have to do is take it out of the bag, extend the polls and stake it down. It is a very large tent. It has plenty of room in there. One thing I really like is that it is wall to wall head space. There is no place in the tent in which you have to duck. My wife and I both have twin size air beds that we have in an "L" shape in the tent. I have a small table in which I use my cpap machine at night. I have a large box fan, a very large cooler, boxes for our food and clothing in there. With all of that there is still a bit of space to walk around in. It has two doors and plenty of screen space. It does not come with the rain fly but there is one available for it. I recommend getting this. I have not tried the tent in the rain without it, but we did camp during a horrible storm with some pretty good gusts of wind. The tent passed with flying colors. The only wet area in the tent the next morning was a very small puddle on the floor. We chalked that up to not having it on a level surface. There was a dip in the ground exactly where the puddle was. Only negatives I can say about it, is that again it does not automatically come with the rain fly. There is no eport, however I just run an extension cord through the zipper door. Also the zipper can sometimes get stuck in the over-flap in the door. This can be frustrating. The negatives, however, are few enough for me to not love this tent. That is why it still gets 5 stars. Pros: Easy to put up. Easy to take down Very large, plenty of room With the rain fly it will keep you dry. Also holds up in decent gusts of wind. Cons: Does not automatically come with the rain fly. No Eport Zipper gets stuck in the over-flap. All in all I would not hesitate to get this tent. We have taken it on several adventures and are looking forward to calling it home for years to come. I'll start with my only complaint, I believe I received a returned tent. There was salsa (?) spilled on it? is on the gray part, I tried to get it out but it appears to be stained. ick! Rating the quality, I give it a 10. Perfect for camping! 1) there's an opening for a hanging shower bag 2) there's a small hook (for loofas) and a bigger hook for a portable shower head. 3) there's a black mesh bag inside is perfect for soaps 4) there's a long velcro strap for hanging a towel or toilet paper

The tent itself is in order and just as the post states. The seams are sealed to help moisture proof so that's good quality. I did knock the posts over a few times while I was working in and out of the tent and that was annoying. There needs to be a gromet to hold the posts in place better.

This little backpacking tent is lightweight and easy to assemble. It only took a couple of minutes to put up, and it was bigger than I expected. It has a cot set up in my pics, and as you can see, there's plenty of room for your gear. I can't speak for it being waterproof, but it seems like it will be durable with reasonable care. The zippers and hook and loop are both decent, and overall it is a good value for the occasional use. Even though there is mesh at the top, it did seem to get a little stuffy inside. Nothing a little usb fan couldn't take care of. The entry area doesn't offer an area to place your shoes outside the tent, but there is enough room inside or under a cot. The floor is thin, and I plan on reinforcing it by placing a blanket on the floor before gear or my dog goes in. Again, reasonable care and this should hold up to a couple nights here and there. Worth it for the purchase price. AND it does fold nicely and fits back into its carry bag!

07/2024 - Updating after another season and 2 solid weeks of use - TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY. This sucker is fantastic. We have put it through the wringer over the past two weeks, up and down every day, on the beach for hours with decent winds every day. It sets up in less than 5 minutes and stays up for as long as you want it to. Pro tips: - lay it out flat and stretch the corners as far as you can before digging a hole for each pocket. Fill the pockets with sand and bury each pocket in the hole you dug for it. The pockets can hold so much sand - fill them as much as you can. The more you fill and the deeper you bury them, the more wind it can withstand. - once the corners are filled and buried, place the poles about 6 inches in from the corners of the top and stand those suckers up. - if you don’t want as much profile, you can get away with 2-3 poles in the front, setting the whole thing up like a lean-to. - secure the poles with the elastic ties and you’re golden. Update! I called customer service today and they returned my call within 10 mins. They ordered 2 replacement poles for me and expedited shipping so I will have the poles in 48 hours. Perfect customer service! Hi! I’ve been on the beach this week and we brought my Sun Ninja beach tent. Here’s my honest review: So easy! Just stretch the tent out flat on the sand, pulling the 4 corner pouches out super far. Dig holes for each pouch and start filling the pouches with the sand. Make sure the pouch is filled to the brim and snug down in that hole, then cover the pouch with even more sand so it’s buried in that hole. Then place the poles about a foot in from the corner seams, rubber ball up, and stake them down in the sand. You can use 2 poles to do like a lean-to, or 4 to give you more room. Put the elastic bungees on top so they attach the tent fabric to the rubber ball and pull tight. You’re done! When all the parts work, it’s amazing! Pros: ✅ the XL is huge and shady and has room for 4 comfortably, but you could easily fit like 8-10 people under the shade in a pinch ✅ when all the parts are working, you can have it up in 5 mins or less ✅ when you have it up and staked right, it can withstand a lot of wind, not just breeze ✅ comes with a great carry bag and small shovel to fill the pouches Con - just one: ❌ we’ve had 2 faulty poles that get stuck and won’t quite fit all the sections together snugly - I’m going to contact Sun Ninja and will update this review with their response

I was skeptical with the lack of reviews, but the price was too good to pass up a try. I lucked up. It shipped quickly and yes was wrinkled at first how would it not be it's that kind plastic. Yes it Smells like plastic for a few days, but a few days of sun is smoothing out a lot of the wrinkles and airing out the che smell. It's got a screen flap for bug free ventilation and is about cot size/two chair size. You can lay down in the bottom, but not with your legs stretched. The bottom is sealed all around, I enjoyed laying in here during a rainstorm with some fairy lights a book and a blanket. I was worried it would leak at the seams and/or zippers but so far has held up! I didn't need the rainflap either the rainflap is more a sunflap in this case. It was super easy to put together, just two poles, but they are long so you will need a little extra space and another person for set up. I can't wait to see so much more on camping trips now!!! Don't forget your sunglasses/blackout shades! Even in rain it can be hella bright. Give it a whirl!

It seemed daunting to pick a carrier when there are so many out there but I liked the way the Kelty perfect fit model looked. It was more streamlined and clean looking than others and when I read more about the company and that they specialize in backpacks and hiking gear, etc. I figured it would be a safe bet vs one of the slightly cheaper offerings. We moved close to a long, wooded and unpaved walking trail and I was beating our expensive stroller up exploring it, so this is why I started shopping for carriers. I also wanted to get more of a work out in vs pushing the stroller. We have an 8.5 month old boy and he immediately took to it. We’ve already done a 2 hour hike and he legitimately loves being in it. The seat and stirrups are clearly comfortable to him and he will even nap he’s so comfortable. I did just buy a car seat head support to use with it (basicallly a pad for their forehead attached to an adjustable strap that I hook up to pack) because when they fall asleep in a carrier their heads can flop around but he’s slept ok so far (see pictures). I highly recommend this model for moderate hikes and trips to zoo etc. I would get the one with a water bladder pouch and more pockets if we were doing an actual hiking trip but the perfect fit model is fantastic for city hiking/exploring.

I don’t even remember if I bought this on whatcampingtent.com or not, but I think it deserves a rating here for prospective buyers. My autistic 4 year old son LOVES to go camping. We have been going for a few years now. As a single mom of a special needs kiddo, I don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to set up. We started with an EZ-Up Cube. Those are nice but take a good bit of time to put up and take down. So we added a smaller Gazelle - a T4 - and we love that one. As he has gotten bigger we have needed a larger tent. I looked at some of the others and was about to buy a Gazelle T8 when this one launched. I got it very shortly after launch, and we have used it 4 times now. I love that it’s the same pop-out design but with a larger footprint. It’s not as easy to pop out because it’s bigger, but I’m a single mom and it’s completely manageable. It is much heavier than the T4, which is expected. But I can haul it into and out of the minivan. I’m pretty strong though, so if you aren’t strong you may need some help. It fits in my minivan long ways (front to back) if I move the one second row seat over a bit. It comes with poles for the larger entryway. I used them the first time, forgot them the second time for whatever reason, and haven’t used them since. For us, that entrance is fine without them. It takes me a bit longer to put up than the T4 because it’s bigger, but only 2 minutes maybe. The tarp that comes with it is nice, and the stakes are sturdy. So far no ripping or tearing of any parts. I don’t bother doing a tango to get it back into the bag at the campground. I roll it up, and toss it in the van. Air it out and sweep it out at home, and then put it away fully there. It’s great to keep the rain out and it’s ok in the cold, but not great for cold days when it’s windy. It ventilates great, but that means it has a harder time holding in heat from the space heater. On cold windy days, we will stick with our T4 Overlander. It’s fine in the heat, bring a fan and open the windows for all the sweet sweet ventilation. My favorite part of it is there is SO MUCH SPACE! We can fit all our stuff inside, and my kiddo has room to play. This last time we had a larger adult cot, a twin blow up mattress, and my kiddo’s tent cot in there, and still had room to store stuff in there as well as plenty of space to play. If you are looking for more place to chill inside on your camping getaway or a bigger tent for the family with minimal set up and take down required, this is a great option that is well worth the money!

Totally loved camping in this for the past two weeks!!! However, only two adults would fit in this tent comfortably. If we had to fit it two little ones in with us for whatever reason, it would have been very un-awesome.

Prefect lightweight low profile RTT! This is our first rooftop tent (RTT). We researched and looked at numerous RTTs. We found that this one would fit the particular applications that we were looking for which was an aluminum hard shell design with side opening features. This is our first rooftop tent (RTT). We researched and looked at many others, but found none others to be in this exact configuration. We ordered a small which was tight, but adequate for two people. Customer service was excellent and prompt. We would highly recommend this product and company.

Finally got around to pulling this out and hanging it, and it appears that the layers aren't lined up properly when they put the rings in. This one pulled out like in the picture, and on the ring on the other end of the tarp it pulled out also (no hole on that one, just obvious material pulled out)
