We used 2 sets of pairs (4 poles) for camping with a 16 ft x 26 ft tarp for a leanto effect over our tent and food prep area, these we at the front out above or lent door and with paracod and stake tie downs worked wonderfully. It was not windy though. In the picture only the front 4 are this brand.

The product is actually a little taller than the pictures from the merchant. Definitely fits 2 people. The screen are keeps the bugs even the small flies and mosquitoes. It maybe easy as to pop the tent up, the real challenge is folding it for the first time. Thankfully, they have youtube videos to show how it's done.

This is a nice sized tent. At 6'4" tall I can kneel in the middle and still have more head room. I am also able to lay out without hitting my head or feet on either end. This is as it is in the pictures without everything being staked down and without guy lines attached. It will easily sleep 4. There may not be room for stuff or a 5th person if you have 4 in it though, depending on the size of the people. The sippers feel good. The seams all looked good. There were a couple of loose strings (not attached to anything) left over from the manufacture process in it, but no big deal. I do have a couple of criticisms: The shock cord that holds the tent poles together is pretty loose. Once the poles are together, almost any movement will cause a section to come undone. Not a deal breaker though. Second, the rainfly is propped up over the door area. This leaves an area of the mesh roof almost exposed to rain. I am not convinced that it will keep the rain out, but removing the pole that holds the rain fly up like that should solve this issue when it rains. I only say should because I have not tested this in practice yet. The rear of the rain fly being able to zipper open and allow airflow is a nice touch. it allows ventilation and a view but also allows a method of rapidly closing everything up for unexpected rain. All-in-all, I like this tent and look forward to camping with it.

I was looking for such a tent to go to the ocean very comfortable very good quality and should protect from the sun that it will not be difficult to assemble

  • Easy to assemble...with a friend because I’m 5’1”. It fits perfectly on my Subaru Forester-no gaps for mosquitoes to sneak through. Large windows with screen for good airflow. Lots of room for my large dog, my camping buddy and gear. Lots of nice touches like putting the instruction manual permanently attached to the carrying case so you won’t lose it. Only problem is a missing buckle on one corner of the rainfly which is necessary for securing it enough to keep the rain out. I contacted seller and am waiting for a reply if I don’t hear back by tomorrow I’ll get in touch with Napier for a replacement rainfly. That’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Five Stars for this company, I have several of their items and all of them have been so helpful with my Van Life getaways. I have a 2024 Mercedes Sprinter that we use for our glamping road trips. Space is a premium in the van so we like to spread out of the van with our tents. I have 3 different pop up tents from Alvantor and we love them all. My recent purchase has been the Screen House Room 2024 Upgraded 2 in 1 Screen Tent Pop Up Gazebo 12' x 7.5'. We absolutely love it, so easy to set up and is huge. At first I couldn't believe how small it looked in the carrying case. Then my husband popped up the tent and wow is it big and so roomy. I have the 15x15 Instant Igloo Tent as well, we love that too. We will for sure have a hard time trying to decide which tents to bring. Since the footprints are small, I might be able to convince my husband to pack all three pop ups. This is built very well yet so light and easy to set up. I added a lot of pictures for other buyers to see. I always find the reviews with pictures very helpful. It's one big pop up with two connected sections you can open the screen in the middle to have access to both sides. My husband says this will be perfect as our food tent since the mesh can keep out the bugs. Another thing I'd like to mention is it's pretty tall, feels really spacious inside. I like that it's rectangular, it will fit perfectly with our van on those assigned campsites.

Do your homework on this? It’s very easy to fold up once you know how to do it. Just like any other standard pop-up tent. Pop up quickly folds down in a quick few steps. I wanted this in camo, but blue was the only color that that could come quickly for my trip. I don’t use the included stakes in any camp gear I buy. I always use heavy duty. That said it is what it is for the price. It’s going to drip a LITTLE BIT … of water in heavy rain through the top. It was not a lot. I have a camp toilet with a lid so that’s not a big deal. Have taken it on 4 trips so far. Just remember to stake it down with quality stakes! Deducted one star for flimsy stakes and water leaking due to zipper quality.

I like that it is light weight and relatively easy to install. I liked the internal gear loops and attachment points for the boot bags and yak hooks. It is compact. I was at 1st reluctant to purchase because the material was not coordinated with the HD skyrise tent but after thinking about it I am glad they did not change it for the HD version of this tent since it needs to be removed and stored and its small size makes it more efficient for camping and over landing when you are needing the room to store all of your stuff. The lighter fabric is easier to handle. Improvements could be made to the stake loops at the bottom by replacing the plastic rings and going with a more robust strap or loop system with reflective rope.

Not only is spacious, but it's easy to set up in under a minute. The materials look well made. I will make an update to this review if anything negative comes along, but so far I like it.

Staying in this tent full time in Pattison TX since January of this year and now it’s March almost April and this tent has survived strong bipolar country wind, hard rain for couple of days and freezing cold weather and scorching 97 degree spring heat and YET this tent provide shelter and stood strong! Highly recommend because Texas country weather it’s not to play with!

Likes: Easy to put up, like literally you can just throw it at the general location that you want it and BOOM! A freakin' totally usable tent sits before you. It withstood my 90 lb German Shepherd who didnt fully understand how it's door's work. The double wall design does help with water/ moisture. I haven't tried it in rain yet but it withstood a heavy dew with flying colors. Dislikes: The way it folds is...tricky at first. I recommend the picture that is on the store page over the illustrated ones that can with it as they are not very descriptive and the images can be difficult to interpret. I WILL SAY that now that I have done it a few times I find it easier every time. I am also not a huge fan of it's size once folded. It's a bit cumbersome and would not fit in a hiking bag, but for most camping trips or beach trips it would be perfect. (It does fit in a car, it's like the size of an adult bike tire, about as thick too).

This privacy shelter is super simple to set up. Pull it out of the disc shaped zippered bag, shake it out and it pops into position. The floor to the tent is a separate piece of fabric that is optional. It connects at the 4 corner grommets, but does not have a zipper, so it won't keep critters out, but will provide a clean surface to stand on. There are 2 main ways to keep the tent in place. There are 4 corner grommets and included tent pegs to pound into the ground. There are also 2 attached pouches about 6" by 4" with can be filled with sand or rocks if you are in an area (like a beach) where tent pegs won't hold. On a moderately windy day (8 mph winds) the top of the tent moves around quite a bit, they included 4 guy ropes which would be ideal for providing extra stability on the top of the tent, but there are no grommets available at the top to connect. (That was the main reason I deducted a star) Putting the tent away is a bit harder, there are instructions, and you have to follow them precisely to get the tent to fold back up into its disc shape. I got it on my 3rd attempt. With a bit of practice, it will get easier! We got this to use as privacy for a latrine while camping, and it has a handy pouch about 4 feet up which can hold things like a flashlight or your phone.

Very lightweight tent. Mine was missing the directions, but I was able to youtube videos on proper set up. It takes a little practice if you're not a tent person to learn how to properly put up with the trekking poles. I had a slight sag in the center, but when I saw the video on how to properly adjust the guylines, it improved significantly. I've not yet slept in it due to it being too hot here, but did leave it up in a rain storm and it stayed dry. Very excited to start using this when it cools off! Update: I've used this tent 2x already on weekend trips. Keeps getting easier to set up, and quick set up. I recommend using the guylines for the center as well; I've not used them and keep finding the netting sagging, so I'm going to have to use them. It rained on my most recent trip, and I stayed completely dry. Very good tent for beginners.

First off, it is not waterproof straight out of the bag. If you buy this tent, go and buy the $35 tarp off whatcampingtent.com and it will become waterproof. I have tested this tent through several severe storms and windstorms and it does just fine once the tarp is over it. Second off, just like anything else that holds air, it will start to droop if it gets too cool overnight. Expect that. I can set this tent up within 5 minutes of showing up to a campsite. Very easy to set up. You only need 8-9 pumps of the air pump to blow it up. Make sure to peg it down before you inflate it or the wind will catch it. Taking it down is just as easy. You get what you pay for here, so be gentle with the zips and don’t overinflated the ballasts. I trust this tent after testing so much I’m about to take it on an 8,000 mile road trip.

This is the second tent I bought. Now my first tent looks like a toy. Pros: Setup took just 20 minutes, and the instruction guide was very clear and easy to follow. The build quality is excellent, and the materials are solid. The tent and zippers feel premium. For a $400 tent, it's definitely worth the value. Cons: There’s a small gap in the corner of the door frame between the two layers of zippers. Not sure if it's by design, but I’ve never seen this before.
