We used this as an upright umbrella instead of as a beach shelter because our chairs were too tall for the beach shelter layout. It was much easier to carry down to the beach instead of one of those pop up canopies and cheaper than renting an umbrella every day. The tilt joint in the middle was hard to push over when opening the umbrella. It did not withstand 18 mph wind the one day it was super windy and actually blew inside out. It did provide good shade but towards the end of the day, it was really tilting a lot and had trouble standing up in the sand.

This is a great looking, light and functional tent. Extremely easy to set up. Love it! However, it would not be my favorite tent to set up for me because of its low clearance. It is great for the kids to have their own tent here at the beach.

Strap that supports a corner post ripped off of the tent first time setting it up. Tent is nice and roomy. Holds water out well. But sense it is so roomy it is tall, and will not withstand wind well. Would be fine in an area that has little to no wind.

This is a nice screened tent for $100. All 4 sides are screened and 2 sides have doors so the bugs will stay out but you can open the 2 doors if you just need shade. The floor is removable so you can decide if it’s needed. For the price this is a nice screened room and is very easy to setup. I was able to do it alone in about 10 minutes, easier than many tents I’ve owned.

It's made in Bangladesh, not USA, as the description was stating it

I plan to camp this summer in places that do not have a shower and I need a decent way to accommodate bathing. I've used a pop-up tent in the past, but it closes down into a 24 inch disk that is perpetually in the way if it is not in use. I cut a 2x4 to size and hung a flag pole on it to create a bar on which to hang the Onewind Portable Privacy Shower Tent. The tent has to be hung a bit higher for showering and a bit lower to use as a privacy tent for potty use, and has to be adjusted for whichever use it is intended. If it were a bit taller, it would be perfect. I like how it folds small and takes up very little space in my tent trailer. I found it really needs to be anchored to use it; the wind can catch it like a sail if it's not. The zipper teeth are small but work well; it's just slow to zip up and down. It's not a quick set-up like with a pop-up tent, but it also folds down much smaller. The trade-off is hopefully worth it. It's also more expensive that the average pop-up tent, but again, hopefully I'm just so happy to not be tripping over the pop-up tent disk that the price isn't a sour point.

I recently purchased a 13 ft Avalon to set up on my camping property. I realized once I have this larger tent set up I'm probably not going to want to take it down. So for a couple events this summer and while I prepared a tent pad for the Avalon I decided to pick up this smaller 8 ft regatta. Once you know what you're doing it sets up pretty quickly. Definitely faster than the 20 minutes they claim. I can do it in about 10 minutes easily. Just stake the perimeter, insert the poles and finish by staking out the guidelines. Construction seems very durable. I don't see any issues with the floor but I do put a tarp underneath it mainly just to protect it from punctures. Depending on how tightly you steak in front of the door it can be difficult to zip the bottom parts of the door completely closed. I really don't see it being an issue because there is enough overlap to prevent water from getting inside. As far as livable space is concerned I put a twin air bed inside mine. You can just fit one in between the sides or back of the tent and the pole. Leaving you with the other half of the tent to store your gear or whatever you want. While this tent would work for two people I think it would be very cozy. The center pole just limits the space inside but I think the extra headroom and ease of setup from this design is worth it. I feel that for the price this is a great tent to have if you are car camping and want something that is going to last you a long time as long as you take care of it. This is my first canvas tent. I've owned innumerable nylon tents over my lifetime and nylon invariably degrades from sunlight. Cotton canvas needs its own special care to keep away mildew and such. But I think for long-term durability and abrasion resistance it's a much better choice than nylon tents. Also nylon tents getting incredibly hot in the sun canvas is going to do a better job of keeping the tent cooler.

*update ! | After instillation of fire-pit with plume, fire-pit was faulty and did not siphon the smoke out. It caused the quarters to settle over any toxic fumes not expelled from the shelter as designed. Has too few upper vent openings and results in the design capturing any smoke exhausted from a product failing to siphon the toxic fumes as designed | The system was easily reconstructed to proper set up, without ever needing to deconstruct my hammock. Set in defining design to a well constructed encapsulated structure, very capable of sheltering comfortably an entire party. Structure has enough anchor points to adhere the encompassing design applicable at reflecting weather, while governing proper security/shelter/quarters/etc. This product is designed with the capability to lock and administer a full capsulated structure with the additional products in purchase | small lock capable of locking the two zippers together from inside or out | large enough ground cover applicable for anchoring to the outside, folding the structured skirts inside to be anchored down. | Also is applicable for accommodating greater space by merging a secondary tent like the Rover Scout Tent produced by WhiteDuckOutdoors. I have slept one night in this shelter during cold temperatures without a stove installed. The box was set up incorrectly and requires adjustments to zip up the two enclosures. Without the stove and doors closed it can become much like an ice chest and will trap cold moisture as it rises from the exposed ground. I used sticks instead of tent poles and it is very spacious within the design shelter. Will add a small scout hot-tent to the small corner and am going to design that addition into my sleeping quarters. Currently my hammock is set up in the center and this design will do nicely with an installed ridge line, with a nice warm ground cover. May not even need to adjust the design so the two side enclosures will zip shut. After installing a decent ground cover. P.S. would buy again if the addition in design was planned for a very large living space and not a single living space and sleeping quarters.

This replaced my cheap beach umbrella that lasted 3-4 trips to the beach. I took a chance on this. The price is about half that of the popular brands. I picked the orange color as it seems everyone at the beach has blue or green. This color makes it easy to spot from a distance. It arrived quickly. I took it in the yard to try it out. Set up even with the included stakes for grass, was a breeze. I had it up in less than 10 minutes. Really more like five minutes. I couldn’t wait for the weekend to try at the local beach. Set up at the beach took a little longer. Perhaps a full 10 minutes. Filling the sand bags takes a bit. The bags are pretty big. Set it up with the poles facing the wind and voila! Shade on the beach. I was getting questions from others while I was setting it up. If I had to guess we have mild winds today. Maybe 10 mph. The poles and bags haven’t moved in 3 hours. I’d say there’s plenty of room for two plus cooler, table, and backpack. I’m inclined to order extra poles for more room. I think 3-4 could fit then. Time will tell on durability but so far I’m pleased. UPDATE 8/10/2024: So I think I've found the limits of this tent. At the beach. today fresh off Hurricane Beryl. Water was choppy and wind. was pretty consistently 15-20. The tent was fine for most of the day. I watched as many other tents and umbrellas were blown up and down the beach one after the other. Toward late afternoon, the wind picked up to 23-25 with gusts up to 28. One good strong gust and the tent came down. It was time to leave anyway so no worries. It lasted far longer than many others. The video gives a good idea of what the wind was like for most of the day. UPDATE 8/24/2024: I ordered 2 additional poles from Sun Ninja. They're slightly taller and thicker than the original poles. The additional headroom was immediately appreciated. I'm 5'9" and can easily stand underneath the tent now. With practice I think I've mastered wind resistance in this thing. My last beach outing we had sustained winds of 18mph with gusts to 25mph. This thing never budged. Not even once. We watched several tents and umbrellas go flying down the beach that day. I've used this probably 10 times at the beach and am quite satisfied. My only complaint would be that it has already begun to fade a bit but I didn't buy it for looks.

  • This awning is easy to set up but the poles are not made of high quality material. The first wind this awning saw pulled the whole awning up in the air. All poles were bend and pretty much broken. If your planning to use this awning only with some wind I would be aware of its performance.

Perfect addition to my Heytrip Trunk Tent. Perfect fit and quality closures. Keep poles latch securely even when rain built up on awning. They come in nice carry case and have rubber end caps so you could also use them without grommets. Will purchase again for future awning.

  • This is a pretty well made "weather tent". The seams, tabs, grommets, etc. all seem well done. It comes with a nice carry bag and includes a bag for the poles and a bag for the sandbags and stakes. The price for the size is appropriate, maybe even good. It is a full 6.5ft height at the center. There is an included sunshade and it is referred to, but there are not instructions on how to use it. It potentially could attach inside on either end, or outside across the top..? There is, however, no screen opening at all and all the openings that are there are all on one side, so it doesn't seem like a very viable sun shelter option...would be extremely warm I think. The directions are conveniently attached to the inside of the carry bag. I feel like the instructions for folding it up to place back in the carry bag are a bit lacking and a little confusing, however if you watch the video on whatcampingtent.com, then it makes sense. I will caution you, they are not kidding when they warn you to be careful when 'releasing' it to open up. (I popped myself in the mouth because I wasn't careful enough). I received this in the winter months, so I couldn't very well set it up outside, so I did so in my basement...I don't recommend that. Ha!

This is a good tent, don’t get me wrong. If you are 5’7 and up, I don’t recommend. I’m 5’9 and I wasn’t able to fit in here properly. My legs were bent the whole night and it was uncomfortable. Also, the sleeping bag isn’t insulated so if it’s going to be cold where you’re going, I suggest finding an insulated sleep bag so you can stay warm. Everything else about it was good though. Easy set up!

Easy set up and tho folding part to put it away is a breeze. This tent seems to be very well made. Very tall and spacious on the inside. The zipper works great. This is a great product for the money you pay for it. It is very lightweight. I love the bag that comes with it to store it and transport it to different locations. I cannot wait to use for camping I will be using it as a pora potty room, changing room, bathing. There is so many uses you could use this for. I do have longer camping stakes that I will use in place of the ones that camp with it. Buy it you will not be disappointed.

We do a lot of camping and as you might guess tent stakes come up missing now and then and it's always handy to have extras on hand as well. But the last few years I've really gotten into replacing all our stakes and cords with glow in the dark and high vis stuff cause we like to camp out in big groups. Having these things visible in the dark is a life saver not to mention saving some damage to camping equipment from time to time as well. These stakes are pretty sturdy and stick in the ground pretty well. The glow in the dark bit could be a bit stronger, but it's not bad, I recommend them.
