I already own the 2 Pro. It's a great tent. I wanted to try the 1 Pro to see if I would be ok with less space. If you're not concerned with a small amount more of weight, I'd take the 2 most trips. Having the extra space is really nice. These tents while simple in design can actually be pitched in many ways by adusting the height of the poles and where you place the corner stakes (closer/further). This tent is a bit tricky to get pitched in order to get the most room out of the walls and keep it up off of the ground and breathable which is more important here because of the single door. The floor is taped, but like the other Pro versions, you have to seam seal this yourself. It doesn't take long. The tent has a hook at the top for a light. One thing I really dislike is the brand tag next to the zipper. It catches the zipper every time. I'll probably remove the tag. I've included a picture of my 2 Pro tent as well as a picture of both tents packed side by side. These are wonderful tents. You can't go wrong with them. There's a huge community of fans and YouTube videos with mods and hacks as well.

  • The Big Tuna Shade was easy to set up. It stood up to the high winds at the beach and even a few storm clouds passed through and it was standing as secure as when I put it up. When the sun moved I was easily able to remove a pole or two on one me side so we were shaded all day no matter where the sun The included backpack to put the Shade in was a genius idea and I could carry the shade around with ease. The 4 screw in anchors that go into the ground was easy to install with the tool provided which is another reason the product is a must have. The anchors go so deep into the sand. We looked at so many other options and we did not want to fill 4 corners of some other shade with sand and bury them in the sand if the wind was to strong. The Big Tuna Shade can be used anywhere and wind is not always present, so shades that rely on wind was not an option for us. This Big Tuna Shade exceeded our expectations plus some. I was able to put it up and take it down without any help. The size of the shade was massive and we were able to have the whole family and friends under there. You will not be disappointed with this shade! We had so many using those metal folding shades stop by asking about our big tuna shade.

Light, durable, easy to roll up, compact. So much easier for one person to spread out than normal poly tarp. I set it up in back yard to test it out as an extended rainfly over a 14x10 cabin tent. Worked great. It extends out farther over the sides and covers an extended "front porch" over the entryway. It stayed in place during 20mph winds with stronger gusts. It withstood the sprinkler test, no leaks. It's expensive but worth it if you camp in the rain. I'm considering a second one to replace the poly tarp I use over the kitchen/picnic table area.

This is great! Setting it up was easy/medium. But we did it in the wind. Two people makes this way easy to put up. However it wouldn’t be hard by yourself at all. I’ve had this for about 2 weeks now and it has held up great. Two big doors and 2 windows. It comes with a carrying bag. My husband, me and our 2 giant breed dogs have plenty of room. You can easily fit 8 people comfortably with smaller furniture in it. The summer it’s going to be hot in here so I suggest a sun tarp. It’s been about 40-50 outside, inside it was 60+. I wish I would have gotten the 15ft instead of the 12 however.

Initially it took longer trying to ensure the poles stayed in the ground. But after using the wind ties with it, or tent stayed secure even with the strong winds! My daughter enjoyed filling the bags with sand, so now that's her job in the future. Definitely worth it and i love that I can just throw it in the bag at take down. The poles were easy to assemble as well.

Absolutely YES! This now my favorite tent. The ease of set up was phenomenal as I took a trip with my dog and had to set up by myself. Came with instructions that were easy to follow. 4 steps, bam, you’re done and have the tent up. Here’s where it gets interesting. I checked weather all week regarding fair conditions and lo and behold spent my first night in this tent amongst a severe thunderstorm. I was scared poopless for a number of moments, but this tent held up! NO LEAKS! I even purchased some StarBrite water repellent spray and sprayed a few places on the tent coming to the realization that I was going to need way more than 1 mere spray bottle. Regardless, the tent didn’t need it! My dog and I stayed dry. The tent kept sturdy and none of my guy lines broke. Pretty sure the good Lord in Heaven was keeping an eye on me and doggo, but gotta say this is an extremely well-made tent. The stakes aren’t cheapies either. Durable and strong, I double checked my guy lines the next day… nothing budged. Next day, everything dried out from the storm, I could see the spots where I sprayed StarBrite. Debated whether to spray more and ended up leaving it as is. Fell in love with the tent more. Chillier night that night and over night reached lows in the upper twenties (Fahrenheit). Contrary to popular belief, I used my Mr. heater portable buddy propane heater. The tent holds heat so well I was able to remove layers and remain comfortable throughout the night. Early morning came, and mind you I had checked the weather all week. Well, it flipping snowed! I can now looking back. I provided photos that do not show where the snow laid on top, but it had until I brushed it off and took photos after. In hindsight, I should’ve taken photos before I brush the snow off, my apologies. I am just enamored by this tent, and I’m already planning my next trip. I’ve even committed to getting a Woodfire stove that I will be adding to my awesome tent. I just gotta shout out kudos to the manufacturer of this tent. Hands-down, well worth the money. Almost forgot to mention the flooring of this tent. It is so thick and durable, I completely forgot to put down a ground sheet like I would with any other regular tent. However, upon that realization as well, I didn’t need one and was probably better off without it. It is a thick flooring and very heavy duty. Very roomy and had plenty of space for all my gear. It most definitely can handle 4 to 5 people. I’m a tall gal and could stand up walking in and obviously in the middle. Very roomy. I just can’t believe it. I just can’t believe it! Taking the tent down was just as easy and simple. The possibilities are now endless! I LOVE MY TENT! Thank you so much!

This is very fast test to setup . The bottom opens up and locks into place. You attach the storage net underneath. You are putting in 2 cross poles that go in quickly Then there are 2 more small poles to support the cross poles. The rainfly goes over top and you stake it down. It could take you 5 to 10 mins if you've put up a tent before. 10 to 20 mins with zero tent experience. The tent is very dark inside. It is in fact a blackout tent. Even when the air vents are opened it is a dark tent. This is HEAVY. About 60lbs. So this is something you use if you are close to your car. Its also great for day long sporting events. If you have to go to track meet or soccer tournament. This is a great tent to be able to get out of the sun and off of your feet. The raised height makes for a great seat. That is if you don't mind your netting being open to prevent bugs from getting in. The rainfly turning into a covering area makes it a great seat. The padding inside is very comfortable. You aren't sleeping more than 2 in it. There is a beam that runs down the middle. I don't find it a negative. If you sleep with somebody who roams and steals space... you have a clear divider to help keep them in their area. If you want to snuggle than this isn't good. The beam cannot be slept on. I would suggest an air mattress if you plan on sleeping more than 2 or cuddling. 3 would be very tight. Warning... You feel the movements of the other person more than you would in a normal tent. If you share the tent with a restless person you'll be disturbed a lot more in this tent than if you were on the ground.

This tent went up very fast as described. You straighten out the four legs, and then push down on the top and the main tent is set up. The fly is slippery to put on, but once in place, a clip on either side secures it. The zippers seem pretty good quality. On the top of the fly, you can secure the ventilation flaps if the rain is blowing around; otherwise, there are small posts that you can use to secure the top flaps open to allow more air flow (see the two labeled pictures - the first picture shows it closed, and the second one open). It is easy to roll up the door flaps and secure them with the clips. At nearly 12 lbs by my measurement, this is not a backpacking tent! Plus, since the poles are integrated into the tent, somebody would have to carry most of the weight for two people. I can’t imagine carrying 10 lbs of 2-person tent, while the other person carries the fly and stakes. In my opinion, this is a quick-setup car camping tent. It’s a snowy and rainy winter day, so I set up the tent in my living room. They describe the tent as a private blackout tent due to the coating on the inside of the fly. I’d say that’s true. Judging from the coating, I think you could expect a lot of moisture to condense on the fly and it would be very wet in the morning just from the condensation from the occupants’ breath. You should expect to have to hang it out to dry before you pack it up, or hang it up outside as soon as you get home to avoid mildew. I did a quick measurement from outside the tent, and I found the interior to be around 6’ 6” long and about 56” wide. The printed description says it is 59.4” long, which is not correct, and would only fit a person under 5’ tall. Someone made a mistake in converting meters to feet. In sum, this is an interesting product: it is very easy to set up, and it would be dark inside with the door flaps closed. It’s also heavy and will take time to dry after using it.

Great lightweight tent! Sturdy in wind. I set it up by myself in about 10 minutes without looking at instructions (sewn in bag). Lots of room in this tent. Im 5’10” and can almost stand up. Changing clothes in this tent was not a hassle. The power cord port was handy as well. With the rain fly on, it stays pretty dark in the day. A rainstorm blew in on me during the night..I had room for all my gear and cooler with room to spare….tent/rain fly stayed secure and i stayed dry and warm. I checked for leaks during the night and there was only minimal water making its way in through the bottom of the zippers by the floor. I just put a towel down and went back to bed. Tent did not collect water, droop, drip, etc. The waterproof tent bottom is pretty lightweight but did its job perfectly. I did have a tarp underneath the tent. I wish the zippers were sturdier/more waterproof but for the price it’s a great buy!

Perfect little TP tent for Ren faire! It was a pretty easy set up, aside from the top part when trying to organize the top area it’s a little bit tricky when trying to do it alone, so I needed a friend to help other than that it was a dream. it stayed up for five weeks. I came back each week where other tenths had failed. Mines stood strong. I was able to fit a twin size mattress and some rugs and my bag full of my costumes. I loved it and I would highly recommend it.

It's probably not the best for backpacking as it's thicker than other tarps, but in fairness it's a lot bigger than something you would probably backpack in anyway. For any other outdoor activity, camping a few days in the woods or backyard, quick set up for the fishing hole or any other place you need shelter. The material is thicker than most but still light for what it is. Smooth finish, completely waterproof and lined inside with reflective material to keep the heat in. Great for emergencies too. Mine will go in the boat. I have a small skiff I go island hopping along the shoreline with and I will be setting this up using the oars for end posts to keep the weather off. It should be perfect for the 16 foot by 7 foot flat bottom. Five stars.

  • We live at the beach and I own 2 of these. I could not live without them on the beach. They take 5 minutes to set up and are so practical. Originally I bought one for two people which is perfect. Then I bought an extra large Cool Cabana for bigger groups. Which was hard to assemble and put up and not as sturdy. So I sold it and bought another Qipi. Which if we have a bigger group I just set up them both next to each other. 2 Qipis provide more shade than 1 Cool Cabana and can be set up in less time. The Qipis ease of setting up is its #1 feature. As well as it being lightweight. I as a small female can carry it to the beach and set it up very easily by myself. It does excellent in high winds, and I have even put up the extra side piece and hid out under it in a rainstorm. The extra side piece provided protection from the rain. It also can provide extra shade if needed, and the sand pockets are plentiful and keep it from becoming a wind sail. Also purchasing 2 Qipis is actually less money than one large Cool Cabana and this way you have options. I get asked about it all the time. I highly recommend this product.

  • I purchased 4 tent poles. 2 of the 4 poles no longer extended or retract. The glued on treaded section detached. So those poles are no good after first camping weekend use.

Just took me 5 mins to set up. Only cons? No chimney hole available but for the price, I don’t think you can beat that Also took me 5 mins to tear it down. Which is the fastest way for me to setup/desetup a tent. One thing to know is the2 doors doesn’t zip on the bottom except for the screens. Not sure if its a design to keep air coming in and having it move up. 100% recommends!

I am not a beach person mostly because I hate sitting in glorified dirt with no shade. This solved that problem! Super lightweight and compact to carry. It sets up in about 5 minutes by sliding 2 piles into the sleeves. There are pockets on the outside of each corner to fill with sand instead of using stakes although both plastic and metal stakes are included for use off the beach. 3 windows zip open. The front panel lays out in front for lots of sand free space and also zips completely closed for privacy for changing.
