One of the legs snapped off from the top after I set it up in my living room as a test. No one was touching it, it just snapped, so it must have been broken in the box. I didn’t have any trouble setting it up, it is however smaller than pictured. The adults shown are probably around the size of a 10-12yr old in America. The tent material was nice but the frame needs some modifications. The buttons to extend the legs are easily caught on the tent fabric, either the buttons need to be smaller or the fabric loops larger. Also where the zippers come together in the front top leaves a hole which most definitely would leak in the rain. The top cover isn’t big enough to cover that part.

I really like this tent, it's easy to put up & it blocks the wind good. Although, I wish the front door zipped where you could roll the door down verses having the entire front open. The floor is very light and after 2 uses the floor has ripped.

So i had low expectations for this tent. At first, i was second guessing my purchase but once i put it to the test on a recent camping trip with unexpected weather, i completely changed my mind and decided to keep it! This tent held up so well in the mountains when i later realized we were located in a canyon where were dealing with both harsh winds and continuous rainfall. Also, it didnt leak at all which was one of my main concerns, it held its ground throughly. I highly recommend this tent to anyone.

  • The photo is the first setup before the camp trip to check for tears, rips, setup familiarity, and function. We had a storm blow through and it held up pretty good. Because we have suicide doors and not a hatch, water was able to puddle on top of the beige connector and seep through. Our solution was to tie a rope around it to cinch it so the water could run off the sides. Our suicide doors stayed open and never became an issue even when the storm was blowing pretty hard. Besides the storm water issue, it's perfect. We're in our mid 50's and sleeping on the ground just isn't the best for our backs. We've wanted this for a while, so we could sleep on a bed in the SUV and put the dogs and "living room" in the tent. It's a two room tent basically. At the site, very easy to disconnect from the SUV and seal up. Hubs is 6' and loved the height and his ability to stretch inside. I'm 5'2 and relied on him more than usual for setup and then more for the homemaking like putting up the fairy lights and hanging lights. We used to have a center light we could hang that had a switch on it. I can't reach it in this tent, so we had to hang it lower, but then it was in his way. I really loved being able to wake up, crawl out of bed, and walk around the "living room" in my pj's in complete privacy. It's a give and take with Mutt & Jeff. Either he hunching inside the old tent and unable to stand upright, or he's having to turn the lights on and off for me in the new tent. Small price to pay for everyones comfort. Overall we are quite satisfied. If anything changes as we use it more, I'll update. Pros: Easy set up. Sturdy rods Quality Fantastic headroom for taller people Plenty of floor space for glamping Cons: Not great for SUV with suicide doors. A little struggle for us shorter people setting up and adding reachable lighting.

Ok so here’s the deal with this thing! It’s a pain in the ass the set up! Of it’s windy it’s going down you can count on it. The best way to put it up is to lay the canopy completely on the ground and spread it out where you want it. Then fill each bag with sand FIRST then erect the poles and attached them. If you do it this way it will be more successful. I personally hate the thing and love my old fashioned metal legged square canopy because they doesn’t blow away and it’s a lot easier to set up. My husband doesn’t swear and this thing brings the beast out of him. 🤣🙈

This was perfect for keeping the moisture off the tent. Once we got home, I aired it out and stored it for next time. Great purchase.

This is a very lightweight pop-up tent. Easy to take down in one try. We use it for our eating tent while camping (because you NEVER eat in your sleeping tent!) Hubs is 6'4" so the 10' ceiling is perfect. It's easy to stake down for windy days. LOVE that we got our chairs, 3' adjustable table (because we don't do 'nature tables,' cooler, air fryer for reheating our frozen meals and still had room to maneuver around in. I like that the ceiling comes with easy to thread rods so if it rains, water won't puddle and gather on the top. It's built like a dome. Well worth the extra $15-$20 compared to the other popup everyone is raving about to NOT have a concave roof. We went camping in mid October so trees were shedding all around. The debris just trickled off the dome top. Also, just be aware it doesn't have a floor. But I ordered an 11'x11' pool cover (because a square tarp under a round tent would bother my OCD too much 😁) so we weren't stepping on bugs & bare ground (yep, I'm THAT chick 😎). It's also perfect to fit in our little hatchback where we maximize every inch for our gear. Overall VERY pleased.

Just what I needed for my home pit. I ended up cutting about 4" off a 5 gallon bucket. Dig 6" trench to fit a 3' by 4' frame with 2x6 treated wood. Dig another hole within trench to sink the bucket so that the pole (in the bucket) is 15" above the frame Fill it up with concret and set the pole angled 15 degrees leaning forward. Let it cure (covered) a few days. Add weed liner and sand....and then grab a beer and clank some horseshoes with a friend.

This thing is an absolute palace for car camping. Plenty of room to set up a small folding table and two camp chairs in the first room. Then enough room for two twin size giant air mattress in the second room. Room to stand and walk normally for anyone probably 6’2” and under. I’m 5’9” and have plenty of clearance. Quality seems pretty good. I’ve had it out 5 nights so far. 2 thunderstorms. Completely waterproof when you close storm flaps, and almost no water in the tent with most open for ventilation. I can’t speak to how many years this will last, but I think it’s worth the investment. Decent heavy duty materials. Only concern is how durable the farm parts are that pop in and out for structure, and how much they will wear in the tent fabric. Set up: Take the 30 seconds to read the directions. I skipped the first time and you will benefit from looking over them. You can set up with one person with some effort, but two makes it very easy. It is pretty heavy. I haven’t weighed it, and I’ve seen reports of 47-57 pounds. I’d say it’s in that range. And awkward to carry. That said.... For most people I think the thing takes about 5 minutes from start to finish set up. Very simple. Give yourself 10-15 minutes to break it down and get it back in the bag. It can be a challenge to get back in the bag the first few times until you understand how it folds up. Pay attention to how it unfolds when initially taking out.

Obviously you want this for the space. That’s why I bought it and it fit that need very well. We had this tent truly decadent inside. The other campers in our party called our site the Taj Mahal. I’m 6’2” and had to bend a little through most of it but could stand straight up in the middle. I also read instructions like a typical man… I don’t read them at all.l, and I did fairly well. Only took 15 minutes and two of us to put it together. Great buy for a glamper like me.

Decent size and pretty simple to put up. However, if you are using this to keep bugs out. The 2 doors are magnet only which I get the idea behind it but the execution is poor. The magnets are mediocre at best and unless closed perfectly don't really close behind you. Also there are numerous gaps between the magnets for bugs to get in. Any slight breeze and the door opens back up again. They need to add a zipper as another way of closing to keep the bugs actually out. Also the doors even when closed the bottom stays open so again bugs can come in. Finally, it does need to be guyed out or any bit of wind will collapse it. So in theory it is a nice sized screenhouse but it lacks in a lot of areas where it could be improved secured and actually keep bugs away while chilling at the camp site.

This tent is huge and awesome. This tent could easily be put over an existing picnic table for shade and bug protection while eating or just enjoying the weather. It was easy to set up, but I had to have a second set of hands helping me out. More than one helper would go even smoother. It was a bit daunting to figure out how to roll the tent out the first time due to its sheer size and the lack of a floor. It would have helped if I understood that there is a big plastic L at each top corner and a little pole cylinder at the bottom corner. Match 4 of those and you'll have an easy time laying the tent out as step 1. The tent is built well. There are doors on both sides with magnetic clasps that work really well for getting in and out hands-free. The bags are sturdy and keep everything organized. It's easy enough to set up that it'd be great to put it up for parties or when the weather is nice.

We have several Joovy products and strongly stand behind this line. I've looked at similar items in the past that were a lot less expensive, but ultimately didn't trust them with my baby's life. When my husband saw what brand this was he was 100% on board. This is great for if you have a baby and other little ones that love to play outside. You can zip the baby in this (weather permitting) and keep the bugs and the sun out. I've looked for similar travel beds for camping too (like I've stated previously), but didn't trust them. Our son is old enough that he can just sleep between us on the air mattress, but I don't trust the baby in bed with us (I'm a huge advocate of babies sleeping in their own crib). This is the perfect solution. Size wise, great for a baby. My son (15 months, see pic) fit in it fine (we have the regular sized one), but he felt too enclosed to actually play in it, plus he's really tall for his age, so it was a bit short for him. Assembly wise, this couldn't be easier....it pops right open, then the mat self inflates when you open the valve and you place it in it's own zipper compartment at the bottom of the tent (see pic), so it's totally safe (you don't have to worry about baby getting trapped under it somehow). Fold up was easy enough, just pinch all the sides and twist (takes a little practice, but pretty easy). It all fits easily in a round carrying case that'll take up almost no room in the closet or car. A+++

I looked all over whatcampingtent.com's reviews for similar products to this one for months, husband doubtful as to the worthwhile of such a product for only using for four days, but I am so glad I found this because it made a huge difference in how long we were able to stay out and our comfort level in the intense FL summer sun. This would be an awesome tent to bring to sports meets, the park, or hang out in the backyard. I needed something easy to set up and take down, something we could use for full body shade and privacy if needed but definitely wanted the three sided screens (some tents I noticed only have one or two windows), a home base of sorts so that when we were down at the water, either myself or my kiddo could locate our tent and make our back to base camp and something strong enough that it wouldn't blow over in a usual ocean breeze. This tent checked all the boxes. It was definitely larger than I anticipated - I did not get the tape measure out when I saw the dimensions online, but I was looking for something that would easily fit two adults and my kiddo, and it's safe to say that this tent could safely fit three adults and some things side by side (not sure about beach chairs - we didn't have any). It's also safe to say we could easily locate this from the waterside as it was large enough to spot without being ridiculous, and no one else had a bright green tent so I loved being able to easily find our spot. My 3.5 year old could also spot it by himself down at the water's edge and not get lost, so that was awesome. We took it to Daytona, where the wind isn't horrible, but is capable of blowing over a flimsy umbrella or tent on a normal day. The only time we had issue in this regard was when the wind really kicked up because a severe storm was rolling in, and well, I can't fault it for that because people were nearly getting blown over. It merely blew over though and flattened a bit, but it did not blow away and nothing broke or snapped. I never used the stakes and ties, but we did fill the sandbags with sand and that was more than adequate because the side sand pouches are pretty sizable and sand is heavy - you can add some water to make it heavier. It was also weighed down with the cooler bag I brought and a couple other things, but hardly anything other than that. It was also critical that this tent be easy to transport and easy to set up and take down, because it would be just me and my kiddo, so I was carrying this, a medium size shoulder bag cooler, and another large beach bag filled with the rest of our items/toys. I practiced setting it up in our living room beforehand, but I really didn't have to bother. I am not a camper, and those kids tents that magically fold up into a circle with the wires inside DRIVE ME NUTS, so I think it's safe to say I'm not the most experienced at tent set ups. This tent made it really easy though - they have printed instructions on a piece of fabric that is attached to inside of the carrying bag for easy access, and it seriously took me less than a minute to put up and break back down again. I'm tall at 5'9", but since you basically need the tent on its side to pop it out anyway, a smaller person could have still managed this. I was also happy it was so quick because having a kid bouncing up and down to get down to the water and trying to figure out a new tent set up isn't fun, and it was nice we could pack up and go so quickly once the storm rolled in. Overall, this thing is amazing. If you have kids at the beach, this is a lifesaver. Even if it's just you, it's big enough to take a nap in, and a better retreat from the sun seeing as you have a couple shaded sides and you can cut down on the UV exposure a bit, unlike an umbrella. It was also nice to be able to hang our towels or wet shirts on the rods on the roof to dry off and clip the wet puddle jumpers to hang dry.

Good bang for buck but not an easy tent to set up. I wish it came with more ropes and stakes. You will need to supply heavy duty ropes, or hammock straps to set the tent up. At this point I like it and seems like a fun addition to my tents. I haven’t been able to test it in the rain yet but I have enjoyed using it as a hot awning tent in a cool day. Plenty of room for a cot, wood stove, firewood and my chair. There is plenty of room for other chairs too. I plan to use it as a hot awning off of my rear drop camper or my truck camper. I wish it came with tree straps or at least ropes so you could pitch the tent without having to provide your own.
