I bought the 3 person version. It was very easy to set up. After the first time, I had it set up within 5 minutes. Breaking it down was pretty easy too. We had pretty good storms the first night of camping. No leaks and everything stayed put. I had been sleeping with the front part of the fly rolled up. It was really easy to unroll it and zip the fly shut when the thunder started. It was tall enough for me to sit up in the tent. The tent packs small, which is great. I had to fly across the country to meet up with my camping friends, and the tent easily fit in my standard size suitcase along with a sleeping bag, blanket, sleeping pad, lantern, etc. My previous Kelty was a rather larger 4 person tent and bulky. Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. I forgot to take a photo of it while camping, but here’s the test run photos in my basement. Lol.

Initial setup was easy. A half an hour with pad inflation also. Light enough. I enjoyed the stability of it's own support poles. If I'm going g to complain about extra weight I'll look to my waist.

We live near the beach and bought the 10x10 canopy for when we have visitors. We tried it out today and are extremely pleased! It is lightweight, easy to set up, and provides shade on a hot beach while pleasant sea breezes blow underneath. I was also pleased by the price. Highly recommend!

Tent is really easy to open and repack. 2 minutes your done. Seems well made. Big enough for two beach chairs , cooler & backpack. We go to the beach every week so we will get lots of use out of this . Thanks guys. Love all your stuff .

Was excited to receive the tent stakes that were described as “heavy duty”, upon opening package three of the tent stakes plastic guy line keepers were broken. “Heavy duty” is loosely used.

This is the niftiest tent I've ever seen (not that I've seen a ton of them, but still, I find it impressive). It's quite a big and tall tent--and I guess eight people could hang out inside it and play a board game or something--though it's not big enough for that many to sleep in comfortably (6 or fewer, depending on comfort level). There's a divider so you can split the tent into two spaces, though there's a gap at the top. The mesh roof makes it bright and airy, and the rain cover has an extra flap that can give you a covered "porch". The instructions suggest going through the assembly process to learn it before trying to deploy it in the field...which is definitely wise. I set it up in the yard and didn't find it particularly easy--especially in the presence of wind (in general you aren't going to want to attempt setting it up in any kind of adverse weather). The poles aren't labeled, and letters would have helped. Until you've kind of discovered how the tension holds it together and how much it's supposed to bend, it's a little puzzling--at least to someone like me who has limited tent experience. But having assembled it once, I'd find it a lot easier to do next time. Taking the tent down is no problem, but there should be a prize for anyone who gets everything back into the bag it comes in. The instructions suggest applying water sealant to the seams, which is not included...so I'm not sure how good the rain resistance is if you don't do that. On first impressions it seems like a really nicely designed tent that's pleasant to be in. It seems to be made of good material, though it would take a few real-world camping scenarios to see how well it holds up. I'll revisit with further thoughts based on those experiences.

I didn't have the correct bit to be drilling into asphalt and I didn't want to buy one just for this, so this took a lot of muscling. I used the largest masonry bit I could find but the difficulty was to expand the hole large enough so the piece going into the ground doesn't get stuck, or it's very difficult to remove. Found it pretty difficult to hammer down the piece through gravel/base... but maybe everyone would have different experience. But once it was in, it actually is very sturdy, but I only had enough energy to do 2 of the 4 that day. Wish they would provide some videos or instructions for the different surfaces and what is needed.. , instead of just showing the install on grass... grass/dirt is a breeze.

I usually get about one yr of consistent use out of my rain Flys and I've tried redcamp, psy outdoors, wiseowl,.... all Fail at the seams. Either at the corners or center. Used this one last night for the 1st time and it poured!! Stayed dry and finally one that doesn't collect condensation on the under side. I'm very pleased and feel this one will last a while!!! Thanks

Have been searching for my first bell tent for about 8 months, this is the first one I've gotten (5m). Important things that stand out to me are the material type / quality, types of zippers, and overall aesthetic appearance. I was hesitant with this brand because they are on the cheaper end for tents on the market. However, I am pleasantly surprised that this tent has impressed me. I've done a lot of research on oxford cotton vs canvas and this one uses 900D oxford, which I actually have come to believe is a superior material to canvas. The use of SBS zippers are also very much appreciated, which is the zipper of choice for other higher end brands. Used the tent for a picnic and comfortably fit 6 people, could fit much more. Tent stakes for the tent are pointed and are good for a variety of soil conditions, however if in sand or rocky soil you will need appropriate stakes. Purchasing a tent stakes hammer is recommended. Finally, we even managed to fit the tent back in the bag with room to spare. Overall a good experience with the tent, enjoy the bell tent if you decide to get it.

Well, shucks, reckon this here gear really came in handy on our recent campin' trip. Mighty pleased with how them stitches held up and them tiedown points all 'round. Kept us dry as a bone when the rain come pourin' and shaded us from that hot sun.

This tent is great!! The liner is as advertised and lets little to no light through. I didn't put on the rain fly cover, but could easily tell it was still darker than other tents. The tent is pretty simple to set up even with the great instructions they provide. This is because all the poles are color coded along with the seams on the top of the tent where the poles go. Grey poles go in the grey slits, blue pole in blue slit, black poles with the red tips go in the plastic brackets, set up roof first, then sides. Very simple, but you do need two people. There is an option to put up an awning if you want, but then one of the walls will just be the see-through screen. That may be fine for some as the tent also comes with a wall divider for the inside if you want to make it two rooms. The bag has instructions included built into the bag or you can use the very detailed pamphlet. The material feels very strong and can stand up to the elements. The inside also has multiple windows that can zip open or close and there are pockets everywhere. Packed up it is pretty heavy, but that is expected of a giant tent. Great item!!!

Two bags to put the spikes in??? You can't fit a softball into one bag. Luckily I had an extra tool bag, or I would have sent them back. The stakes should work fine, but you need something to contain them and not lose the nut driver.

It actually rained our second night. Very sturdy and there’s was a lot of inside storage. Hiked up the mountain and weight wasn’t a problem at all

I received this tent last December but before I could test it out it got cold and snowy so I had to wait a few months. Needless to say we've got the time and good weather now to do just that. My children and I had the chance to set it up a few times in the back yard and spend the evening in it. There's more than enough for me, and my 3 kids ranging from 11 to 5 years in age. First of all, it is by far the easiest and quickest tent I've ever had the pleasure to set up. Truly, you take it out of its carrying case and it literally pops into place. Just use the provided stakes and guy lines to give it a bit more rigidity to hold up to the elements and you are in great shape. I really enjoyed the ability to place bags and shoes in the vestibule for storage out of the elements. We did not encounter any rain so I can't speak to the tent's ability to withstand that. There are 2 windows on the sides in the main part of the tent that are reachable from the inside and outside that provide some nice cross ventilation. As well as a small vent port with a post that keeps it open if you desire. the front can be unzipped and rolled back to provide even more ventilation on warm evenings where it isn't raining. Folding it up was a bit of a trick the first few times but there is an included instruction manual as well as a very helpful youtube clip from the manufacturer on how to fold it up. Now, it's a piece of cake to set up and tear down. All in all we had a very good experience in this tent. I can't wait to take it out into more camping scenerios in the months ahead.

This will be great for camping! Once we got it we set it up to see it. Super easy to put together and take down. Love that there is a removable floor. Very spacious and keeps bugs out!
