Kind of difficult to put up but overall roomy and nice features
Seemed like a nice enough tent for the price, plenty of space and room to sit up. Very lightweight. Worked fine on our backyard test. First camping trip, a fiberglass pole spontaneously shattered and ripped through the rain fly. I contacted the seller; they told me to contact Sierra Designs for warranty returns. Sierra Designs sent me back to the seller. Eventually the seller agreed to refund my money.
These poles break down and fit into a bag that is very easy to pack. The poles when assembled are strong and stand up well to the wind. I use strong stakes and ratchet straps. The other end of the tarp I tie to the top of the truck. Nice shade structure!
This is an incredible portable toilet/changing area for parents on the go. I can't tell you how often we go to some sporting event or camping event and my little child needs to go potty but is embarrassed to "just do it in the woods" because someone might see. This is a great solution. It folds up to nothing (2.5' circle) and can be thrown in the car just in case. It pops up in a flash, and even comes with stakes and guy wires. The canopy is roomy and tall, certainly roomy enough for me (5'11", 230 lbs). It can be a toilet or a changing area for those looking for a little privacy. Also, the toilet solution is great. It's minimalistic but super sturdy. I really like the design, and THAT fits in the the main bag as well. It's great. In addition to the canopy, toilet, and stakes, it even came with with sturdy garbage bags for your business. It has everything needed to be used. It's great. The toilet is incredibly easy to set up, as is the canopy. It can be a little tricky to fold up to get back in the bag...but the metal rods have kind of a memory to them, so it just kind of works. I was skeptical I was going to be able to do it...but I played with it for about 10s and it folded back up nicely. It was great. I would definitely recommend this to my camping friends and any parents who have been on a sports field that didn't have any bathrooms nearby. It's a great buy.
Excellent quality and very easy to set up! (We opted to use a leaf blower to blow it up fast.) It held strong for the 3 days we camped. We were in cold weather and we took a camp wood burning stove with us. The tent was so toasty warm. Very sturdy material and seams. Great price.
Bought this tent for an ultralight 1P tent for bikepacking. First trip went great. It’s light weight, roomy, packs small, lots of features, good zippers.
I received this in a well packaged box. One corner of the box was fairly dented but the product was not. The box had nice strapping on it as well, to keep it in good shape. I opened this up and find this easy enough to pack on my next camping trip. I did set it up in my living room and it will be easy to set up in a tent. Set up the tent first, then set this up inside. The material seems durable as well as insulating. Folding back down and getting into the carry bag was easy as well. I had never heard of an insulating tent product before and so glad I found this on whatcampingtent.com. This has just expanded the months I will be able to camp due to being able to stay warm in colder temperatures. I am happy and excited to go camping with this.
I bought this pop up tent for my grandchildren to play with inside. I have a 12, 9 and 3 year old. It survived rough housing, shaking, twisting, turning and all but rolling over in it with 3 grandchildren all day. Easy to pop up and take down. Plenty of room inside.
First weekend I took it camping and Sunday from 2am to 8am we had sever storms somewhere between 3-4 inches of rain in about 6 hours which is a lot for any tent, didn’t leak at all, woke up and not a drop of rain in the tent. I used this tent as a one person tent for myself with a full size air mattress and a ryobi fan with my ecoflow river max. A full air bed fits! Had a great experience and now that I know it will hold up to any rain I can’t wait to take it camping again!
I was really excited when this arrived, and decided to do a test run to familiarize myself with it before an upcoming camping trip. I unpacked the tent, laid it out in my living room, began to unfold the legs, and as I started to lift the center piece I noticed that two of the arms were not attached to the hub. I thought, "no problem", I'll just latch them back onto their pegs. As I looked for how, I started to think "Oh, please don't be those cheap plastic pieces that tear off easily." Apparently, God has a sense of humor. The little "pegs" on the upper part of the hub were missing entirely. And as I stood there trying to think about what I could do next, a third leg came off the top unit--presumably because there was no support from the adjacent pieces. I looked at it fearing the worst. Yep, those pegs had snapped off too. I looked down at the ground and there they were: two little pieces of plastic that this last leg had presumably held onto. I found the other 4 pieces in and around the tent's carrying case. That wasn't even the worst part. I couldn't think of a solution that would fix this problem, so I resigned myself to packaging it back up to return. But, because now three legs had detached themselves from the top unit, I could no longer easily fold it back into it's starting position. As this was my first time attempting to use this tent, I had little reference for how it was supposed to completely fold up (the poorly illustrated instructions were not much help.) I spent what felt like forever trying to figure out how to fold it back up nicely for the return. Couldn't be done. I could not fit it back into its carrying case, but I got it back into the box it was sent in. I hope I never see it again. Would I ever recommend this tent to anyone else? Omg, no.
Ive had this in 30mph winds and didn’t break. It has give points that allow it to flex and fold over in high winds without breaking. If you are a desert camper, this is the one to get
I was leery about this tent because I’d never heard of this brand. I bought it for a family trip to the Pacific Northwest. We’re a family of 6 and it easily fit us (my husband, our two eldest sons and I are all 6’ +) and all our bags. It sets up fairly easily. I love the doors on both front and back. I also like that there are separate zippers for the inner screen door and the outer weather-resistant door. It did collect a lot of moisture on the inside of the rain fly every night because there isn’t much airflow. It did, however, stand up to a significant thunderstorm just outside of Yellowstone. I am glad that the “porch” area wasn’t facing toward the wind, or I think we’d have been in trouble. Because the “porch” isn’t sealed at the bottom, the wind could really get under the edge and pick it up. Fortunately, we had the back of the tent to the wind and we all stayed dry and nothing broke or tore after several hours of strong (I’d guess gusts at 30+ mph) wind and rain.
This is the 9x7, I also have the larger 10x12 one. I like the ripstop material. They weigh next to nothing but are functional. I would buy them again. No issues when the wind picked up.
Great concept for easy assembly! The entire set up took less than 3 mins one handed by myself! It can be used as an enclosed tent or hooked to a vehicle. It comes with attached ropes, stakes and a carrying bag. For size reference in the video I show it with a Ford maverick. Do be cautious about it popping open- there’s a warning tag to remind you. Great for the beach or to cover the picnic table and keeps bugs away. Tear down is easy peasy. Highly recommend
Beach tent or tent for something else. Can be easy to assemble. UPF 50+UV materials. Floor mat included. Adequate quality. Lightweight disassembled gear within a carrying bag. Good size. Light blue and gray in color. Works well.
