A rule of thumb I learned growing up in scouts was that tents’ size/people were at least 1, usually 2 people less than advertised. But this tent is crazy spacious. It fits me 6’4″, 250 pounds, my wife and three children with room to spare. I was impressed by the lightweight poles coupled with their perceived durability. I set it up at home and will update after use. The packed down size is larger than I want, but for a backpacking tent that fits my whole family comfortably? I’ll take it over the two small, uncomfortable tents I was planning on bringing. Pictures/videos/updated review to come.
