I would highly recommend this tent. I recently camped for a week in this tent. We had three major storms with with heavy rain and winds up to 39 knots. At one point we thought about abandoning the tent but we decided to ride out the storm from inside the tent. After the storm passed, we inspected the tent for leaks and wind damaged. We were surprised to to find not even an ounce of water in the tent and no wind damage. Our neighbor who was camped next to us did not do so well. Their tent collapsed during the storm. The next day after the storm, they came over and inquired about the make and model of our tent. They were in disbelief that our tent was able to withstand such a pounding.

We recently received the tent and set it up in the yard. Was easy for two of us to set up. Seems like a nice tent that will serve our purpose. We really like the open roof for rainless nights.
It’s supposed to rain later this week so I can provide update on its durability and other rating features.
We got the 4 person tent for 2 adults and 3 dogs. I think there’s plenty of room.

I’ve owned a lot of tents for both camping and backpacking in my life. I’ve never seen a tent that was designed in such a way as to not be sealed against insects and other things that crawl and bite. However, the shower curtain-like window coverings (they hang from loops rather than zip tight) require that there be an escape for any water that pools in the pocket at the bottom of each window. Therefore, there is an external opening (see pic) without any mesh covering (why?!) on the bottom corner of each window to allow water to drain. Insects can, and do, come in this way (see pic of 2″ Fishing Spider that entered the tent the first day this way-I found her sitting right in that corner pocket area–coaxed her out the same way she came in). Skeeters can also find their way in. What the heck were the designers thinking? Other than that, it’s a well-built tent with nice vertical roominess (great for tall people) and large windows for cross breeze.

We bought this exactly 1 year ago, and have used it only 3 times. Very easy to set up, very spacious with enough room for 2 Coleman cots, and very well-ventilated; in fact almost too well ventilated, as last year we camped in late September and because of the open mesh under the rain flay it retains zero heat. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it releases moisture buildup, but when it’s in the low 40s outside it’s the same temperature inside. We just got back from an exceptionally rainy weekend and the tent was perfectly dry; amazingly so, as we had an inch of heavy rain on Friday night, water got on the tarp under the tent floor and it was bone dry inside. Very impressive. What’s not impressive unfortunately is that as shown in the photo that one of the pole connectors broke on, again, a one year old tent that had only been used 3 times. I guess I’ll have to find out how to get a replacement, because as a let’s call it 2 1/2 season tent this fits the bill for us perfectly, so quite disappointed with the pole and questioning the long -term durability of it.

I was looking for something comfortable for 2 people or 1 or 2 people and a large dog to use when car camping. I wanted something we could actually stand up in and that I could put up relatively easily by myself, if needed. This definitely fits the bill. After my first attempt doing it alone and following the instructions as written, I do, however, recommend not waiting until all 4 sides of the tent are fully erected to put the rain fly over the top unless you are really tall. I needed a stick to push it over. Much easier to toss it over before extending the last two corner poles. It easily accommodates 2 twin air mattresses with a good amount of space between them for moving around. It also withstood a strong thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind with nothing inside getting wet on the first trip it was used. I’m definitely very satisfied so far.

This is so easy to set up, single mom here and when it’s really hot I can open up all sides and move the canopy around to adjust shade and air flow. Love it!

I can put this up by myself in less than 15 minutes. Super easy to put together. It’s such a pretty color too. Love the huge windows. No leaks in a pretty big rainstorm. It was expensive but completely worth it. I love it.

This is a fantastic tent for camping!! The light color and huge screen windows make it airy and breezy in the hot humid weather unlike some previous tents I had that felt like a sauna inside. The tent is super easy to set up- I’m a solo female camper and had this up in 10 minutes with no issues. It is FANTASTIC in rain! Withstood heavy hours-long downpours without a drop of water inside. I admit I was a bit skeptical about water blowing in or leaking given the window design (they don’t zipper up, but rather hook in, so it’s not a solid seal) but again, not a drop of water. The tent is uniformly tall, so you can walk around freely in the entire thing. You can definitely feel the quality in the poles vs some of the poles I was used to. My only recommendation would be to make sure to use a ground tarp with this tent. The base material is the same material as the sides, and not tarp material like most other tents, which could make cleaning the bottom of it a bit more difficult when packing up, especially on sandy ground after a rain. I bought the 8×8 version, and it was nice and roomy- fit a double high queen size air mattress with plenty of room still for gear and walking. Would definitely highly recommend this tent!!!
