   This is very easy to set up but snug for 2 people over 6’2″. Overall, I think it is a great tent for 2 people that have to hike into their campsite. Seems durable and believe it is waterproof as we had no dew inside the tent when we woke up.

   I got this tent for our teenage son. It is by far one of the easiest tents I ever installed. One person less than five minutes. It went through some very heavy half a day rain and mild winds and not a spot of rain in the tent. It is very good quality fabric with aluminum poles. The footprint is one of the shortest we ever owned. It is bit of a stretch and quite a bit shorter than the floor area, but it still works. The tent does not have window or vent in the back of the rainfly. It gets reeeeaaaaaly hot in warm weather. You will need a fan in the summer. The poles are rather thin. Not like our Kelty Parthenon. I don’t know how good will they fare in strong winds.

   This is my first quality tent. Blown away by the differences between this and a cheap store brand tent. It has sturdier material, was a breeze to put up, it has snaps and clips for mounting the fly, and the seam taping appears really nice. The fly doesn’t rest on the tent; there is a 2” gap between the two for insulation and I assume it will minimize condensation. Quality really does matter… I’m not sure on the reported weight; it seems heavy, and it doesn’t pack down as small as I would hope, but I’m looking forward to getting out with it. It’s a joke I know… but a 2p tent is more or less a “plus sized” one person tent! Where is the second person supposed to sleep in this two person tent once I put my mat in? Guess you have to spoon. Lastly, I’m 6’4”. My feet touch the door (barely) and my head touches the inside wall (barely). I can sleep diagonal to be more comfy…but I’m backpacking so not worried about it. I can sit up in it with plenty of head room, but there shall be no stretching in this tent.

   We used this tent for the first time last night and it literally protected us from a hail storm and survived a tornado that touched down in Rogers, AR last night. I staked it down and it stayed completely safe and intact as full grown healthy trees snapped within 20 feet of our campsite. I would 100% recommend this tent. Thank you, God.

   Really happy with this tent! Easy to set up! Although it may seem a bit expensive it’s well worth the quality you get in this tent. Really durable and holds up well in the wind and rain. Had it for 2years

   After spending a month reviewing and looking at multiple 4 person tents, I’ve found what I’ve been looking for. Though it only arrived today, and I’ve not actually camped in it, I’m giving it 5 stars for quality workmanship, ease of set up, roominess and packability. The other tents I’ve looked at (both brand name and otherwise) just didn’t measure up…and it weighs the same as my ALPS mountaineering 2 person backpacking tent, which I’ve had to set aside in order to have room for my furry friend. Will submit another review after my upcoming trip, but for now, I’m impressed.

   I really like this tent. It is easy to set up and has lots of netting making is a very good 3-season tent, for ventilation when you want it. It might be tight fit for 2-people, but I got it because I backpack with my 55-lb dog, we fit prefect in this tent. I’ve used it several times since I purchased it, camping in a little rain, but nothing to extreme. Temperatures I’ve used it in range from 45F – 85F and I found it very comfortable. With my dog, I believe we can use this even in lower temps at night, before resorting to a 4th season tent.
