Used this tent for a summer road trip. Very easy to set up, and take down. Lightweight& compact enough for backpacking and motorcycle travel.

I own 3 of these, we backpack with them, they are lightweight, easy to set up, we love them! So far we have owned one of them for 2 seasons, the other two for 1 season. Have used them in light rain, frosty mornings and pretty warm temps in the Pacific Northwest (high 80’s, low 90’s is warm in the PNW). Very, very happy with these tents! They are holding up great and I expect we will use them for at least 6 backpacking seasons for multiple trips each season. They are 3-person tents but we have tall people in our family so we only sleep two per tent… but you know how tiny and compact backpacking tents are. I would not plan on fitting 3 unless they were kids (maybe petite adults). My only complaints are as follows:
1. The tent bags these tents come with are terrible – this is why I could not rate them 5 stars. Tent 1 bag lasted through one backpacking trip, tent 2 and 3 bags lasted through 2 backpacking trips. The bags have multiple weak points and I am currently testing out whatcampingtent.com replacement bags for all 3 tents for a good fit.
2. This tent does not come with a footprint and I have had a hard time finding separate footprints that are the same size. I have found some that are close but none that are perfectly sized.

Nothing special, but this tent does what it’s supposed to do. I bought it mainly as a lightweight tent for backpacking. Seems to be well put together, pretty similar quality to my other tents. But of course much smaller (although still comfortable inside, with enough space to store some clothes, toiletries kit, plus GPS and other gear you want to keep inside your tent) and much lighter to pack. I’ve never used it in rain, so can’t comment how it sheds water and stays dry inside. As with any other of my tents, I use a tarp for a groundsheet–the floor material of this tent is especially thin.

I’ve had this tent for two years for myself and my dog. It’s perfect, after the first year I did redo to the seam seals which was very quick and easy (there was one spot that would drip in a downpour) now I have no issue. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Just as good as it’s more expensive competitors and it’s the perfect size. I love the two different openings for the rainfly on the front and back.

If you’re 5’9″ or taller this tent will be damn near impossible to get in and out of lol. Its not very water proof. But it’s decent for the price and its lightweight and small when packed
