We used it one night and it got 3 holes in it already. Two were made in the floor from the legs of our bed cots, and one was in the side wall from the non-sharp corner of a cot because the wind blew. It has a good design, but the materials are about as durable as a 33 gallon trash bag. It is very roomy, but think of it as a disposable Bic lighter: use it 3-5 nights and it will GO on a 33 gallon trash bag. You would think if they were smart enough to come up with the design, they would also make it out of sturdier material. I’m sure the shock cords will last much longer than the tent.

This tent met all my requirements—large, one door, rain resistant/proof and easy for one person to set-up. Have used it twice, including in heavy rain and wind and it stood up well. Since it is so large with a good amount of mesh it can get chilly at night (I sleep cold) and due to the full coverage rain fly it can get hot in the day in the sun, but you can roll back the rain fly over the side sections to expose mesh and get a breeze to cool it down. Plenty of storage pockets and it has many loops in tent that I will be getting plastic hooks for to hang things. Only thing I don’t like is the two zippers on the door—the top zipper occasionally snags the fabric and they meet at a 90 degree angle at bottom of door—it is not the most convenient to use and you have to take an extra effort to make sure they are fully zipped to reduce potential for small opening that could let bugs in—but the zipper issues is a small concern considering how great the tent is otherwise.

This tent is large. Perfect size for a large family. No leaks during several rain events…. that’s where the good news ends.
Cons: Material is very flimsy. Several holes in the rain fly after the first weekend. No ventilation. Despite a light breeze inside the test was 90F while outside was 75F. The zipper also feels cheap but it didn’t break. I din’t think this tent will last long enough to get your $200+ out of it. and I’m not looking forward to using it again.

What a disappointment! Went camping for the first time with this tent…and the rain fly is missing!! Everything was there but the actual rainfly. So now we have to drive back home since it’s supposed to rain tonight (6hrs) and lost out on $100 of campsite fees. Guess I will be returning this useless sun room.

Fairly easy to set up with two people. Spacious! Fit three cots and a queen size mattress no problem. The best thing about this tent is you don’t wake up with that “wet” feeling because the fly covers the entire tent!
