   We had one of those small circular pop beach tents before and that thing had absolutely nothing on this amazing tent. Not only is this thing HUGE (easily fits my family of four), but it’s actually easier to put up and put away! It’s great quality and absolutely perfect for beach days. It has so many thoughtful features for a great price.

   Pros:
   -easy to set up and take down
   (I can do it all by myself in a matter of minutes after I practiced)
   -zips completely close to double as a change space or to keep children inside
   -zip up mesh windows to add air circulation or privacy

   Cons:
   -metal zippers can rust from water exposure

   Seriously, this is a great family beach tent !

   Es muy bonita y cumple su cometido, pero finalmente no es el mismo de la foto… las bolsas internas para guardar las cosas (debajo de las ventanas) no las trae, así que no hay un lugar seguro donde dejar las pertenencias, y el suelo no es de lona como en la foto es de la misma tela que el resto, la cual está diseñada para repeler viento y agua, mas no para el desgaste que da el suelo, la arena, estarla pisando o poniendo sillas, etc… sin duda se va a romper.

   Bonita está, pero pareciera “pirata” en comparación a la de la foto. 😕

   This is the biggest unit I could find with this quick pop up design. It’s got enough room for 2 adults with chairs and some gear. It’s light enough to hike down to the lake, and setup/teardown is as good as anything I’ve used. Can’t stand up in it of course. Full zip for privacy is nice. Like all shade tents you’re gonna get some level of decreased airflow so it will be hotter. The mesh windows help with this, but it’s still noticeably hotter inside than out. It’s got room to lay down an air mattress, so enough room for a nice sun sleepy nap.

   Perfect size and easy set up, light weight, excellent quality. I got it for the beach but it sucks you can’t use this on the beach due to local beach laws. However I kept the tent because I loved it so much, I use it at local camping sites, for a day picnic.

   This beach tent is incredible! I have been looking for a tent big enough for my family of 4 this summer and I am so glad I found it. It is fairly easy to put together (I was able to set it up within 5 minutes). I highly recommend to get an extra hand to set up if the day is windy, but once up it’s incredibly sturdy and stays in place. My two toddlers loved playing in the tent which allows for a nice break in the shade. My favorite part was being able to pull the 3 mesh windows, which we pulled down when changing my toddler’s diapers for some privacy. We also used the mesh windows to allow for my daughter to take a quick nap protecting her from the sunlight. Taking down the tent takes a little bit more time, but with practice it becomes pretty easy. Once packed it is easy to carry and takes very little space in the trunk. Highly recommend for everyone, especially for families with young kids!

    I looked at a lot of options and read many reviews before settling on this canopy. It has all the features I was looking for – has the door/floor extension, which can zip closed all the way (not just a few velcro patches like others), the windows can also be zippered up on the sides (not velcro) and the window flaps start at the bottom, so if closed will keep rain from dripping in. This one also has the new spring opening mechanism, not ropes to pull, very easy to open and close, its larger than I expected, has tie down ropes (if needed), carrying bag with instructions inside. Three sandbag pockets outside to help keep it in place. Its very lightweight to carry and convenient size when packed up. Setup on the beach, even in windy conditions, worked great and was stable. Used someone else’s idea and brought three 1 gal ziplock bags to put sand in, and then put those in the pockets for stability, making cleanup easier. I also recommend getting sturdier stakes for the beach. This one cost a bit more than others, but I think was worth it.

    I really love this WolfWise instant sun shelter. I’m not new to instant sun shelters, I currently own a Lightspeed Seaside quick shelter that I bought 3 years ago but my kids are now 6 years old and we needed a bigger one, so I got the WolfWise 4 person shelter. Highly recommended and I can see this fitting a family of 4 easily. (I attached pics showing the WolfWise 4 person instant sun shelter next to my smaller Lightspeed Seaside 2 person instant sun shelter for comparison in size and portability because I wanted to highlight how much more space you gained while keeping a similar packed size) Packed up, it’s super portable and packs well in the car for taking to the park, beach, relative’s house, etc. I was surprised that The WolfWise 4 person wasn’t bigger than my Lightspeed 2 person when packed up. I was sceptical that getting a larger shelter would be bulky but this was not the case at all. It’s quite light, even my 6 year old can carry it. I LOVE that the instructions are sewn in to the inside of the carry bag and that the bag unzips lengthwise and has properly sized carry handles. My Lightspeed 2 person also had instructions but the drawstring bag made it slightly harder to see and pack up. You won’t need them after the first couple of times but if someone else is setting it up, this can truly take the guesswork out of it. The set up is super easy. I recommend watching the WolfWise video that shows how to set up and put away the shelter, the video is at the end after you scroll through all the product pictures. I do feel that some user videos over complicate things. The two things to pay attention to is a) straighten the legs before raising the canopy and stand “behind” the shelter when you pull it up to open, then make sure to lock it in place. It takes me about 30 seconds to set up, about a minute to pack away (since I like rolling them up nice and tight to make it easier to fit in the carry bag). A bonus surprise is that the floor flap doubles as a zippered privacy door, so you can change inside. I didn’t see a single picture showing this and found it quite by accident when I noticed the double zipper in the front opening. The three mesh windows also zip up so you can leave it open for ventilation or closed for privacy or to block off sun. There’s a hanging hook on the top and mesh storage pockets under each window as well as near the roof. There’s 3 generous sand bags on the outside (you can fill it with sand if you set it up on the beach), I usually place the included tent stakes in one of the sand bags so they don’t get misplaced or forgotten. There are also wind ropes but I typically get by with setting up stakes only as the mesh windows allow air to blow through and it stays in place as long as it is staked down. In conclusion, really a great sun shelter. No complaints with anything. I thought my Lightspeed 2 person from 3 years ago was amazing but this one is truly better and the details like a zippered carry bag vs drawstring, folding legs (to allow it to pack smaller), zippered front for privacy and the spring locking mechanism make this a great recommendation! Wife and kid(s) approved!

    The tent is pretty easy to setup. It basically opens like an umbrella, you just have to remember to unfold two support rods before opening its umbrella. It is a little tricky to fold back up since the umbrella mechanism is spring-loaded and wants to open right back up as you’re trying to gather up all of the rods and fabric. Still, I was able to fold it up within 5 minutes or so. It’s described as being a 3 to 4 person tent but I’d say it’s more suited for 1 or 2 people, unless you want to feel really cramped. It’s very lightweight and, when folded, is pretty compact and easy to carry. I’d still prefer a shoulder strap rather than just handles, just to make it slightly easier to carry when carrying a bunch of other items to the beach. But it’s still manageable, even with just handles.
