   Great purchase. Works as a regular umbrella or as a wind block on it’s side. Easy to set up, easy to take down, the special stakes to hold the corners in the ground are genius too with large heads for the sand. I am able to go to the beach on a medium warm day with a lot of wind, set this up, and enjoy the sun without feeling but a gentle breeze. My only criticism is on a super windy day, the umbrella inside parts did bend a little bit. I think they sacrificed some sturdiness to make it as light weight as possible. Bought from the warehouse so extra cheap and an even better value.

   The umbrella is big and provides a lot of shade. Is compact when folded. And lightweight. Easy to transport. For the cost of this, I expected better stakes. The stakes that came with it bent with first hit. The head just totally bent over. I was putting them into lake sand. So it wasn’t crazy hard.

   Honestly, my expectations weren’t high and I’ve been pleasantly surprised how much we’re enjoying this umbrella. The setup and take-down is unmatched, SO FAST. The corkscrew on the pole will go several turns into dirt/grass and provides a great anchor point, add four more quick stakes into the ground and this thing is firmly planted in the ground. At the park when everyone else’s portable shelters were going airborne during a large gust of wind, our umbrella didn’t budge. We always leave the vented windows about 50% unzipped for more wind resistance. This thing is going to work awesome on the beach. On park days we put a blanket inside for our kids to nap and set a camping loveseat in front to enjoy the shade.

   Purchased a blue one: I opened it the first time I went to the beach. Several of the metal bars that are supposed to provide the structure for the umbrella were bent and the umbrella wouldn’t open completely. Sent it back. Purchased a red one: Once again, I opened it when I got to the beach. This time the fabric was completely detached from the top of the umbrella structure. It was very easy to see that the quality of the sewing and thread was very poor. This time I didn’t even bother opening it and took it right back to the car and sat in the sun all day. I really wanted to like this umbrella. It has a very clever design and would be perfect for the beach. Unfortunately, I can’t justify buying another umbrella of such poor quality. I would gladly pay twice as much for this design if someone made a stronger/more durable version of it. However, I can’t find any other companies that make it. They must have a patent. It’s a shame. I, honestly, can’t believe this umbrella has such high reviews when most of the negative ones reference the poor quality.

   this is a very well designed and functional unbrella/tent. My beach chairs are high and yet I can sit in them under this umbrella when it is set up as a tent. the fact that it can be a tent or an umbrella is useful. If there is wind, you can use the tent stakes for extra support.

   Also, the designers included a piece that prevents the umbrella from flipping inside out in strong wind. Last, they included a metal bar on the lower piece that makes it easy to rotate the base deep into the ground.

   The only con I can think of is that the top is plastic and looks like plastic. Most of the Tommy Bahamas use plastic that looks like canvas.

   Compramos la sportsbrella para nuestros fines de semana en la playa y es lo MÁXIMO !! da una muy buena sombra y cabemos Perfecto para nuestro picnic ! La sombrilla es de muy buena calidad, resiste bien el viento fuerte y las ventanitas que trae ayudan para que no se vuele cuando se pone rudo el viento. Ya no vamos a la Playa sin ella , la AMAMOS ! La puedes usar de varios formas y si tamaño es enorme ideal para familias de 3-5 personas con niños
   Solo me gustaría que viniera con una funda más resistente pues con el uso se empieza. Rasgar, pero la sombrilla está increíble!

    Ya tenía tiempo queriendo comprar está sombrilla por lo que al estar a buen precio la aproveche. Se coloca muy fácil y es bastante grande y fácil de usar. La probamos en un día de poco aire y funcionó super bien, hay que probarla con más aire. Solo le compré estacas de plástico más largas porque las que vienen se ven muy endebles.
